I don’t understand why other teams’ backups make plays in the secondary? this team is always two steps behind.

The game is meaningless it’s just so hard to throw this all in the trash and think it never happened 😭. The club will be counting on a few of these players.

Part of the Bears looking great and the Bills suck is QB play, obviously. Baegent could prob play for a couple teams

FOX being punished for scheduling a preseason game involving Buffalo. They aren’t playing starters while in this SB window. On the flip side they televise a lot of Bears games Chicago fans will get hyped

There’s no doubt the Giants and Bears really want these preseason wins badly for culture. But you get the feeling the Bills guys read there press clippings and think they’re hot stuff. They aren’t taking these games seriously and it will cost some guys their careers

and i don’t like Mike White. He sucked for the Jets and Miami. I said it before the season, i said it after last weeks preseason and i’ll say it again tonight. You pray he never has to play in a real game. I’d rather see Buechele.

I understand, lots of young guys and depth players in but Sean always talks about complimentary football. Our DLine and secondary do not compliment each other. Again, you feel like this season the Bills D will need a lot of takeaways to live up to their hype.

I'm not concerned with the legal timing as much as I am having Rice eventually be punished severely. I mean this guy did something so reckless, and illegal by racing 120 mph on a public road. It's just complete disregard for the lives of other human beings. There's actually two crimes here. The recklessness of course and then secondly he injured a driver, a mother and her child...he could've killed them, and this dude flees from the scene without even showing remorse or checking on their well being?! The victims suffered brain trauma, internal bleeding, facial lacerations, disfigurement and other injuries. If this guy was WR3 on the Jaguars he would've been released a while ago and justice would served fairly quickly imo. The fact he's the best WR on the Superbowl Chiefs is keeping him around as we all know.

If Josh plays in the game McDermott should be fired. I'm sorry. There is no reason to play any important starters in preseason anymore. They have enough reps in practice and scrimmages against other teams.

I think the Bills most likely scenario to win the AFCCG is to get the 1 seed, host the game and win in blowout fashion. Maybe it's PTSD from all these heartbreaking KC losses, but I don't think the Bills eek out a close nail biting win. They must stomp the heck out of whoever it is and take out their years of disappointment to finally make the SB.

If the playoff race goes the same as the past couple years we really need Baltimore to play KC in that divisional weekend game. Buffalo has to get the 1 seed and play a lower seed that weekend and then play the winner of Bal/KC at home for all the marbles. But yeah, injuries happen and you never know if those teams will even make it that far.

Yeah the only thing i saw was that the Bears D had a very good 7 on 7, breaking up plays and intercepting Allen once.

We have one of the greatest QBs in NFL history here and a solid coaching staff and culture. It all comes down to winning a SB or at least making a SB appearance during their "Windows". If that doesn't happen, this will go down as a gigantic sports tragedy for the Bills organization, the city and us.

Cool factoids. I have nothing to add to the waypoints but I did land at O'hare on a United flight last week. We landed on runway 9L which is the northernmost runway away from everything. We proceeded to taxi for a bit to a holding pad (because our gate was still occupied which is very common at ORD). We sat there for 25 mins, then proceeded to taxi around the entire northern taxiway system back and forth, following dozens of other planes until we got to the gate. The pilot got on the intercom and joked about the scenic taxiway tour. From the time our wheels touched down until we parked at the gate it was easily 1 hour 10 mins extra. Makes you appreciate BUF.

Glad he signed.. surprised he got $30m guaranteed. Does more guaranty lessen the salary cap ramifications? It always seems like teams are up against the cap and then you see a signing like this

I think Bishop is tough, but is he tough enough? A guy like Andreesen. You get the feeling if an anvil was dropped onto his shoulder and crushed it, he’d still suit up and practice. Because he knows if he’s not available, he will be cut from the roster. Bishop could use a little of that mindset.

Thought they’d bust out Keon Coleman by now but maybe he gets the airtime this next episode.

A little too much fluff with the Damar stuff and showing slo mo fan reactions, but overall it was cool. Buffalo Joe and KJ Hamler were definitely the stars of this episode, and both had good roles in the actual game.

In the Josh Allen era, the most opposing fans i’ve seen in person were for the Vikings (the game voted “best game” of that NFL season). Many of the Vikes fans i met came down from Canada. They must have the second largest fan base up there behind the Bills! The other was sadly Bengals fans taking over the joint for the playoff debacle. That was awful.

This Saints game is a unicorn. Final season at Highmark, Bills are great,... I'm not sure prices will drop much at all unless you can actually wait until it kicks off and someone has to dump their tix. It's the only Sunday, 1pm game when the weather is going to be decent. There are many fans for whatever reason that are not going to attend night games.

That's an important point. A lot of us out-of-towners, especially those of us over 50 typically come in for an early season (warmer weather) Sunday game. The Saints happens to be the only Sunday 1pm game. It's really a bit of a schedule quirk.
