Yeah, I've thought that too. McDermott sounded awful in his presser Friday and still sounded sick after the game. I would not be surprised if Allen had something as well. He had that glazed look in his eyes standing on the field and sitting on the bench. The arm or thumb was bothering him. Some noticed even before the game he was clenching his right hand on the pre-game walk into the stadium. I feel like something is going on there more than a funny bone. He didn't take off and scramble much, he didn't look quick yesterday. Whatever was bothering him physically lets hope it's a one week thing.

Maye looked pretty good, certainly tailed off in the second half. If he starts burning the blitz, he won’t see it as much. I was expecting him to run more. I think he should figure out when to take off and get some easy first downs for the Pats.

I think Denver is going to beat Cincinnati, and i still think the Broncos will be highly motivated to beat KC as well.

bottom line, 12-3 is a better record than 10-5. 8 straight games 30+ points cannot be erased, 14 offensive records or whatever it’s been. I’m sorry but if they apply the same rules to Allen that they gave to Lamar last season the MVP favorite should still be Josh by a decent amount. Barkley is out imo. Hurts is the MVP of Philly or at least tied. We saw today as soon as he went out and Pickett came in the Eagles offense sputtered and they blew a nice lead and lost. RB is not an MVP position anymore.
