  1. I think Baltimore will win this one. Which actually will benefit the Bills because it will force the Steelers to have to play with max effort against KC on Christmas day. So a Ravens 13-10 win would not be a bad thing
  2. Some of the Mike McDaniel AI generated press conferences are hilarious. His voice is so realistic.
  3. Totally agree that Allen has this, but man the dissenters are out in force this week. You'd think Josh played the Giants last Sunday and Lamar hung 5 TD's at Detroit. Makes me a little nervous when you compare it to the Heisman last weekend. A week ago, the betting odds for Travis Hunter was -2500 , while Ashton Jeanty was +1000. In the end Hunter won it but it was the closest Heisman race since 2009. Hunter was first with 2,231 points and Jeanty had 2,017. It was so much closer than the oddsmakers had it.
  4. There are plenty of media heavily in Josh Allen's corner for MVP,,, Acho, Greeny, Orlovsky, Chase Daniel, Rex, etc. Josh was the overwhelming MVP favorite going into the Detroit weekend... and everyone wanted to see him have another big game worthy of MVP status, and a WIN to solidify his standing. He overperformed on everything and got the win. Yet somehow, after a nice game over the hapless Giants, all I'm hearing this week is Lamar is very much alive and based on his stats should be MVP. They are really arguing that on some of the shows this week. Am I missing something? Why all this push to get Lamar his 3rd? He's having a great season, better numbers certainly than last year. But overall, when you add everything up (Bills record, who they beat, 11- 30+ point games, etc..) how is this a conversation? I can only assume this MVP talk is for show content and you can't have everyone agree on Allen. That would make for a boring national show.
  5. I saw recently that Cleveland is seriously considering a dome in the suburbs there and Philadelphia is starting to float ideas about a new dome stadium. A decade from now there really might be just be a small handful of NFL cold weather outdoor stadiums.
  6. Bills should handle the Pats easily but will they have intensity in this one? or just say they will but not really bring it. I want to see McD and Babich attack the rookie QB and not let him have easy throws over the middle while getting comfy in the pocket. Attack him and make him feel pain.
  7. They initially announced this as a "mild" ankle sprain, not a high ankle. So I assumed he would be OK, unless there's a knee thing involved (doesn't sound like there is).
  8. What a dumb game to wear red jersey's,, vs the Patriots?!? Stop getting cute and just wear the normal home uni.
  9. It's just silly that Jeff Saturday and whoever else on ESPN says the MVP race is still open? I mean cmon. Lamar is not getting it again. He will probably finish with better stats but he's not getting MVP for a 3rd time with a team that was the #1 seed last season and was projected to be very good again. The Bills were projected to be 2nd or 3rd in the AFC East by many. Allen has elevated them to a point we could not have foreseen, with guys. He's just come off a 4-game stretch of NFL feats we have rarely seen?!? Barkley is having a great season but as others have noted, the Eagles were a very good rushing team last season. Barkley has not elevated an already good Eagles team beyond what Allen has done for the Bills. A RB has less than half the amount of touches as a QB and prob half the amount of impact on a team's season....that's why QB's always win MVP's. MVP is over,, just like it was for Lamar last season with a couple games to go. If Allen plays conservative over the final 3 or even sits a lot of minutes it's still his time.
  10. No. I think a couple of these AFC East games will get bogged down. The division is clinched, Buffalo will say all the right things about intensity and wanting to win of course but they want to get through these game intact as well. i’m not expecting the Bills to light up these teams tbh.
  11. Oh jeez Raiders what a stupid penalty! but it didn’t even look late tbh
  12. These might be the two worst MNF games in recent memory. Just not competitive whatsoever
  13. The chasm between a Desmond Ridder type QB and the top QBs in this league is larger than the grand canyon.
  14. Caleb is just throwing the ball too hard on several plays when some touch is needed.
  15. Voters can’t just say that it’s over, that would taint the award. But Barkley has not done anything great the past couple games and Josh just had a 4 game stat line for the ages and went 3-1 vs good teams not cream puffs. Its over. and Lamar is not getting a 3rd MVP from these voters until he proves he can win some playoff games. He was gifted the award last season largely based on team record.
  16. Brady has been very good obviously but let’s be real. When Allen is going off script and making sick throws… or on the run while getting blasted near the sidelines making perfect passes, it’s all Josh Allen’s greatness right there. Joe Brady will get a HC job like Daboll courtesy of JA.
  17. The Lions are the first team we’ve played in a while where i feel like they could not be stopped once they got rolling. Thats what it must feel like when teams play the Bills sometimes and they are a runaway freight train. The Rams game i just felt like Stafford, Nacua and Kupp were just having an exceptional night that could not be replicated. I’d like to play Detroit again only because it would mean the Bills are in the Super Bowl. But not sure i want to see that offense again this season.
  18. Moral of the story, for the rest of Josh’s career with the Buffalo Bills, there will be no more Diva WR’s in the locker room. They are toxic and not needed here.
  19. Watching Bass there was like watching a pro golfer rimming out a 6-inch tap in putt. It happens, but let's hope it only happens once in 10 years or whatever...
  20. I'm enjoying the win over Detroit immensely, but people don't want to hear this. Right now, however, defense is a flaw for teams like Detroit, Buffalo and Baltimore. We hope it somehow gets fixed and doesn't become a fatal flaw in the playoffs for our team.
  21. Yeah, well said. The MVP immortalizes him and cements his ticket to the HOF. It separates him from all the "Hall of Very Good" players like he gets compared to sometimes like Philip Rivers. Look, we all want him and the Bills to win the Super Bowl. But that's not all in his control. The MVP is. When his career in Buffalo is over, and he moves back to his native California, I want this insane football player to leave Buffalo with some hardware.. and league MVP is the most massive chunk of hardware anyone can attain individually.
  22. It's not happening. Not because Lamar isn't great but there are other issues at play. He would literally have to have triple Josh Allen's production. Reason being is Lamar won it last year with decent stats but not extraordinary at all. His team was the 1 seed and had excellent D and special teams too. He flamed out in the playoffs, again. He doesn't beat Mahomes. Voters just aren't giving it to Lamar a 3rd time, especially when Allen is having the season he is having.
  23. I don't know. in 2023 Lamar won that National TV road game vs San Fran late last season and he went from 2nd in the MVP race to leading at -180 with two weeks remaining and he was basically unanimous. Josh right now is the favorite at -1000, Lamar is second at +700. That is a grand canyon sized gap. Barkley fell all the way to +1300. Allen's last 4 games, all nationally televised in which two were on the road at quality teams. 1,114 passing yards 223 rush yards 15 TD's (8 passing, 7 rushing) 1 int/fumbles (zero the past 3 games) 0 sacks taken You can't play QB any better than that. Someone let me know when another QB puts together a 4 game stretch with a stat line like that. Not to mention he beat the best team in the AFC, the 9-0 Chiefs, and the best team in the NFC, 12-1 Lions. They have scored 30+ points in 11 games in which national media has said it's a down year for Buffalo and he doesn't have the talent around him like Lamar does or Philly/Detroit. Josh will not have to artificially inflate his stats against the Pats and Jets. Voters know those game might be "stay healthy" games for the Bills at this point. Josh proved it. Several TV commenters like Rex, Greenberg and Tedy Bruschi have said the race is over this morning. He left Detroit with the MVP in his carry on bag and it's awesome for him and the city of Buffalo.
  24. The Bills Oline can dominate the trenches against anyone especially when they are super motivated (i.e. playoff games). If the Bills needs to use ground and pound in rough weather the RB room is terrific and they can win that way. In past years I feel as though the RB room was not as deep as this crew and it depended more on Allen to make splashy pass plays which is hard in cold/wind.
  25. Goff is the first QB to throw for 400+ yards and 5 TD's, no int's and lose. A few weeks ago, he's also the only QB to throw 5 interceptions and win. How crazy is that.
