I am aware. But he’s the 3rd overall pick and they are going nowhere. Might as well get the breaking in period started.
-
I actually think it’s a good move. They see Daniels maybe getting MVP for goodness sakes and Caleb starting to feel it. What they gonna do? The kid has talent let him learn on the job. He doesn’t have to get beaten up. hand off and throw screens. Just get him playing time so they aren’t starting from scratch in 2025.

Josh Allen Performance Yesterday..a Redux

I mean the lacking of WR playmakers is bad for Josh. if we had aging Emmanuel Sanders from a few years ago he would be the best deep threat on this team.. and he was like 3rd or 4th string. Shakir is nice in the slot for sure, Coleman is a rookie and is not getting targeted much but he's had a couple splash plays...the rest are useless. -
Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy
zow2 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
That huge heave by Mahomes to Worthy last night was totally designed for DPI... what smart play. They had no chance of completing that, and Worthy was smart too by hand fighting with the Saints DB towards the end to make DPI even more noticeable. -
no matter what anyone says, though, firing your coach in season means you’re pretty much not a serious threat for the playoffs. hiring an interim coach means you will retool after the season. God forbid they have another end of game meltdown, coaching decision, I think he’d be fired that week
-
Typically i agree but with a 2-game losing streak for Buffalo, that may offset it. This game will be a war, both are desperate. probably will come down to which FG kicker is having a better night.
-
Saleh was a wuss. I hope they do not hire Mike Vrabel. That dude scares me.
-
Well you need to have an appearance to have a shot to win it! There never will be a guarantee. Gimme the appearance and we'll go from there. That's a huge accomplishment for this club.
-
Problem is, he's in a 2 game slump and the "get right" game needs to be in Primetime at NY. The Jets DB's were very sticky last week vs Minnesota and made Darnold look weak.

We're 3-2 and on the verge of wasting a prime year of Josh Allen's football life. Don't do that. Make the trade Beane.

Josh Allen Performance Yesterday..a Redux

Josh has the yips right now. There's no question about it. He's not trusting his first read, he's holding the ball too long and then making some low% throws when the window has tightened up OR he's bailing early and the spy is faster than Josh. He needs to work on the quick timing with these WRs other than Shakir. When he does make a nice pass (to Keon at Baltimore and in my opinion Hollins deep vs Houston) they let him down. On the flip side, Brady and the receivers are letting him down too. It's been a hot mess at Baltimore and Houston. The OLine who i thought was maybe the best in the NFL are struggling in these hostile environments. And most Olines much prefer to run block than pass block. -
Random talking head says something about the Bills

It's incredible to watch these last two games as Brady and McD are panicked and under their coaching have helped turn JA17 back into rookie Josh. Beane has to take responsibility too as it looks like his signings to backfill the Diggs and Davis losses are failures. -
Josh Allen Performance Yesterday..a Redux

I have to think 9 for 30 or whatever is one of the worst NFL completion% at or above 30 attempts ever. I mean we all love Josh but he was making some poor decisions and poor throws. Of course the receivers and OLine played a big role but for an elite QB, he threw some bad balls. It starts with coaching too. You watch KC last night and there is a scheme to nearly every pass. You can see the way defenders are cleared out and receivers schemed open. -
They show all those red clad people in Arrowhead. Can’t imagine what it’s like to be a KC fan. My gosh they just party and hope to get a threepeat. No pressure with Lombardis in the bag. Every game for the Chiefs isn’t pretty but they don’t lay down like pansies ever
-
That whole little montage of Saunders starting with the hit on Kelce was great. it was like scripted then culminated with a great INT by a big man
-
The KC defense does not get the credit it deserves. Tonight their O is fine but in many games their offense is nothing special and their D just doesn’t give the game away. They usually dictate it
-
By the way,, just for the sake of discussion 4 of the 5 opposing QB's who have played the Ravens have had their best games... except the Bills and Allen. The Baltimore D isn't all that special. I said it in another post, Josh has this borderline reckless need to hang onto the ball and hope something breaks open.. but there has to be a clock in his head. When he's about to be parallel to the ground that is too late to throw. His right shoulder and head are left so vulnerable to major impact with the ground, as he can't protect his fall. He's gotten away with it several times, but it finally bit him yesterday. And this does not include his amazing passes while straddling the sidelines. On those he is still standing vertical when he releases.
-
Josh Allen is not really running much this year compared to usual and he's getting More beat up. That's a bad sign. I know he injured his hand vs Arizona, but he seems to get more damaged behind the LOS. I'm not convinced he plays vs the Jets until I hear it. The league is going to heavily scrutinize the play that left him nearly put him to sleep on the field.
-
Ray Davis has sucked. I was thinking he was a perfect compliment for Cook, he'd hit the hole, one cut, north south, Boom. So far that has not worked out. But I was not a fan of Franklin's game either and didn't want us to draft him. Let's check back in 3 years and see who accomplished what.

Yeah McDermott is so puckered up and his personality matches that. Nice guys, just not a clutch coach.

Josh Allen Performance Yesterday..a Redux

I think most of the Allen critics yesterday and vs Baltimore are justified. Be honest and try not to be a homer. If I'm a defensive coordinator I make Allen beat you by throwing from the pocket and put a spy on him so he can't gain the edge. I personally don't love his game from the pocket, sometimes he is slow to read what is happening and his passes aren't super accurate. I love his game as he moves around and makes throws in crisis, or takes off an runs. I don't know what happened yesterday, maybe he was still hurting from the Baltimore game. Some of his short/med throws were woefully behind or sailing way too high... just no touch or accuracy. Although to me the Hollins pass was fine and shoulda been caught. The pass to Kincaid was horrendous, classic Allen throwing a frozen rope when a nice arc dropping in front of Kincaid so he can adjust and run under it was the play. Anyway, Allen is the man. He's the only reason the Bills are the Bills the past 6 years. So that's just my critique, and no I could not do any better, lol. -
How was Josh able to finish the game with a concussion?
zow2 replied to JakeFrommStateFarm's topic in The Stadium Wall
Matt Hasselbeck on the Cowherd show said the way Josh Allen's injury was handled was "embarrassing, disgusting and a joke". He was visibly angry about it. -
Worst (regular season) coached game in the entire McD era
zow2 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cowherd had a rant on McDermott. Said Andy Reid in crisis feels like a life preserver for Kansas City. He's so excellent. On the flip side McDermott feels like a kettle bell. Just pulling the team down to the bottom., again and again. He said the Bills are just throwing away potential playoff homes games against these similar teams. -
Jordan Love, who i don't like that much, actually throws a nicer deep pass than Allen. Most of Allen's bombs don't have the arc necessary to run under it. That one that Diggs dropped vs KC was one of Allen's best throws that's why it was so frustrating.
