  1. Yeah i picked up Tua off the scrap heap a few weeks ago and i havent looked back since. They got pushed to the brink by a not so great Bears team. They can be beaten, but not often
  2. As a Love fantasy football owner this year, he’s been hurt a lot and when he’s played he’s been disappointing. Kinda like Stroud, his reputation is greater than reality right now. They both can get it together but it’s getting late in the season. Green Bay likes to run more than pass and they got away from it on that drive.
  3. Goff has time in the pocket and he’s deadly accurate.
  4. I think the Ravens would crumble without Lamar, even as well as Henry has played. But that just shows how vitally important the QB is. On the other hand, if Saquon and Henry get injured I think the Eagles and Ravens are still good teams. Definitely not AS good, but Lamar and Hurts would still have solid weapons and they would have other RB's step up. If any of the big name QB's get injured, those teams are toast.
  5. Saquon's situation will be interesting. 4 of their 5 games left are against the bottom ranked rushing defense teams. and honestly, home games vs Carolina, Dallas and NYG should not be close if Philly continues to play as a top ranked defense. If the Eagles get healthy leads, would they continue to run Saquon and risk injury or use some of the backups? It would be outrageous if he gets injured chasing a record, since his health is paramount to securing a Lombardi trophy for the Eagles. We've seen in a few games this year Allen being pulled very early.. can you imagine the accrued Allen stats being left on the table due to being pulled with 12 minutes to go the other night? The Bills had at least 2 more possessions in that game and if it was a relatively close game they would have moved the rock. I think Josh came out of the game or shut down his passing and running very early, vs Miami (1st game), Jax, Tenn, Sea and SF. It makes sense why last season when the Bills fought to the 11th hour in the final game to get in, Allen had 44 TD's and offensive stats were great, while Lamar only had 29 total TD's and 600 fewer yards passing.
  6. I'll be happy for the Lions and their fans as long as they aren't playing the Bills of course. I think I used up my "I pray they don't win a SB before Buffalo" when the LA Rams came back and beat the Bengals. I do not want the City of Cincinnati to win the Bowl before us, and they haven't yet but came darn close.
  7. I would be very surprised on the NFC side if the Super Bowl rep is not Detroit or Philadelphia. I mean Green Bay could win later tonight but in January I'm not a believer in GB, Minn or anyone from the NFC West and South. Obviously we desperately want the Bills to be the AFC rep, but realistically it could be any of KC, Baltimore or even Pittsburgh. I'm saying no way for Houston, LAC and Denver.
  8. I agree the homefield is not a lock in the playoffs at all. I do really like the angle of Denver and Payton beating them last season. McDermott is great in those get them back type games. He would use that loss all week as motivation even though it happened last season. Just like I hope we play Houston and Baltimore. I think we have the intangible edge, of being really hard to beat a good team twice in a season. I think KC gets taken out in round 1 and we don't play them.
  9. Is Emmanuel Forbes gonna play? He’s the skinniest guy in the NFL but don’t let the legs fool you, he can run like the wind. But i’d like to see him come up in the box and take on Derrick Henry running downhill. That would be entertainment.
  10. I wouldn't either. But of the first round matchups I'd take Denver over anyone else. I respect Nix but feel McD and staff are usually pretty good against rookie QB's and in Bufalo it would be nuts. Plus Nix feels like a bit of a gunslinger, some high risk, high reward passes mixed in that could be picked. The Chargers on the other hand just seem boring under Harbaugh BUT every game is close. So you know it would be very difficult to pull away, and Herbert is better than Nix at this moment in their careers. They play good D and if they force a turnover the opponent is in trouble.
  11. I mean Kansas City fans literally act as though the Chiefs are entitled to win the Bowl every season. And they practically do! So why not us. It's our turn.
  12. Probably, but only because we've had many many drought seasons and they usually wear this combo in road games. I personally like the white over blue,. The only combos I can't stand are anything monochrome.
  13. They’ve been wearing this combo since the OJ days. Plenty of big wins have happened when wearing these, including this season.
  14. I think it’s ok to talk about it and say it. We’ve danced around Super Bowl talk for a few years trying not to jinx anything., “one game at a time, go 1-0 each week”, yada yada. We’re fans. Let’s go Bills. Finish the storybook ending for once. Win the damn Bowl.
  15. Agree, but Bills/Rams is the Fox Big game of the week in the Sunday 4:25pm window (which we all know is the window that grabs the largest ratings of the week). So this weekend and next Sunday 4:25pm CBS at Detroit are basically nationally televised games. To your point i’d say he has to do well in both these games. lead the team to some scores, preferably no turnovers and hopefully wins. Then i think he’d clinch it.
  16. I already gave my take yesterday on this situation and what i would do to the perpetrator so I won't rehash. But no matter how some Bills fans want to call this out as being hyperbolic and in part a GoFundMe money grab there is still massive negativity among the general public who aren't Bills fans or even football fans for that matter. Almost every post and article I've seen online including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.. has no nuance to the story. It's just "Drunk Bills fan pushed a little girl down the stairs". And then shows a picture of the girl in her 49ers hat holding the "I Beat Cancer" sign. In all the comments people are calling the general Bills fans vermin and scumbags and worse. It's pretty bad and I don't think any amount of damage control can fix a reputation. But as usual, time will pass and some other ridiculous stadium story will push this one to the archives of poor fan behavior.
  17. Here's the link per my post above.
  18. Different kid, but only if she has cancer or some other horribly debilitating childhood illness., because according to the country that's what Bills Mafia is all about. 🙄
  19. Same thought when I see Josh at or surpassing all these other famous QB historical and playoff stats. He's like the only one without even a SB appearance. It's so frustrating.
  20. Kind of wild when you think about it that Reid and Dungy were fired from fairly successful coaching stints in their primes.
  21. The Facility had about a 10 minute segment today on Allen and the importance of him winning an MVP this season, and his legacy. It was really good, they hit on every point including how Josh Allen is better than several previous MVP's... but he has to get it NOW, this year, and it's probably his to lose. Someone should find the segment and post it here, it's a good watch. I'll check later to see if I can find it. Acho is an MVP voter so when they discuss this stuff on national TV it carries some weight.
  22. Nice award. It's not even the numbers or the splashy play. Put any of the other 30 starting QB's in that game, in that weather, and it would be VERY difficult to put any kind of healthy stat line together let alone a 141.3 rating. I think Mahomes would do OK and maybe Burrow?, and of course Allen. That's the list.
  23. There are too many players on the current team and former Bills players that talk about the amazing job McD has done to create a winning culture. and several mention how it’s different here. So no matter what anyone thinks about the lack of hardware, the man has done a great job.
  24. Gronk doesn't have much impulse control. That was a heck of a dirty hit at the time considering too the weight of him dropping on a smaller guy. Could've really messed him up. Anyone see the Tom Brady roast when Gronk did a shot with the guys and spiked the cocktail glass right at the podium? I was surprised glass shards didn't fly into someone's eye's. Maybe it did. He has no sense.
  25. I check out their topics from time to time and read through some of their posts. It's amazing how vile some of the people act on that Chiefs Planet board. They swear, cuss and say some filthy things. I don't see that kind of language and behavior on this board. So to me, many of Chiefs hardcore fans that participate on that board are complete jerks. It's funny, if one person has something respectful to say about the Bills or Allen, others will step in and obliterate that person's take. Would i paint the entire KC fanbase as a bunch of jerks based on a few people on a message board? No, but it's ironic to hear them do it about one drunk loser at a Bills game.
