They just put him out there.

This game definitely put the exclamation point on why the TV talking heads did not give New England any chance this season. and on the flip side why more than a few picked the NYJ to win the division and/or get a wild card berth.
-
New Englands manhood has been stomped on today

What a dreadful game

Of course i have TE Henry and he keeps throwing to Hooper lol. Can’t get a break in fantasy this season. Gosh Brissett stinks
-
He’s surgical tonight. Just thinking back to his last season playing in GB, i thought AR was lousy. I’m impressed he actually looks good. The Jets and their schedule could break their drought if Aaron stays healthy.
-
my first thought on that FG miss was that he Tyler Bass’d it

Makes sense. They still have the Mac Jones saga in their heads too. They don’t want to rush Maye out there and mess w his head as a rookie. But i’m sure he will be in there at some point this season.
-
Kind of feel like NE is wasting time by not playing him. Maybe they don’t want him exposed against the Jets D line. But he looked decent in preseason and they should get him out there this season and deal with the learning curve so he’s ready to roll in 2025.
-
Have to admit when i’m wrong. Rodgers still has something left in the tank. Surprised NE can’t get to him and make him rush
-
Brissett has no ability to make a quick decision against that rush
-
Al and Herbstreit will be bummed if they have another non-competitive AFC East game this week. It’s starting out that way

1) Jets: too many run-ins with obnoxious Jets fans from my college days. And i can't have them be more successful than the Bills under any circumstances 2) Bengals: hate them too. Don't want Cincinnati winning a Lombardi before the City of Buffalo 3) Chiefs: They are the single reason why Josh and the Bills don't have one maybe two Super Bowl wins

Anyone down to help me with a football pool at work?

Yeah, it would be typical Cardinals to look decent vs a good Bills team, destroy the Rams to get everyone's hopes up....then get steamrolled by Detroit at home. Based on what we've seen from him in the past, it seems like a statistical impossibility for Malik Willis to engineer two NFL wins in a row. -

Tenn is now -1.5 and I would take the Titans. At -3.5 it's dicey and a coin flip because i can see Tenn winning by a FG. I'd go with Arizona +3.5 -
OT: Bonnie's hire Yahoo Sports writer Adrian Wojanowski as new GM
zow2 replied to Big Turk's topic in Off the Wall
I read somewhere else he was already a huge supporter of the Bonnies program in every way and has been very involved in getting NIL donations, etc.. So now instead of doing it in an unofficial capacity he will be official. -
2nd year in a row, we may just have the best overall O-line in the NFL.

I think it has to do within the final couple minutes of a game. It's so players can't purposely throw "fumble" the ball into the end zone while being tackled so a teammate can recover and win it.

Blue jerseys, white pants, blue socks vs the Jags on Monday night.

The true home uniform. Win or lose, wear these at home for nearly all home games. -
Would Adam Thielen be a good option if another WR is needed?

The jury is still out for me. I need to see one of these games where Josh has to chuck the ball around. We know Shakir is the man, but if we see Samuel, Keon, Hollins, MVS...getting targeted and making plays we should be fine. If some are not getting targeted, to me it means they are not really getting open and making themselves a viable option. -
People don't seem to get this. Bass would have another job within the week. If the Bills bring in a journeyman or some rookie and they perform up to our expectations...that would be more of a surprise than having the guy flame out worse than Bass. On the flip side Bass is probably better suited for a dome team the way he kicks (in my opinion)....and may force the Bills hand if he misses a couple more makeable kicks.

Yeah i agree, i recall wanting Big Ben as a Buffalo Bill and was bummed when we didn't move. The Steelers and all their Super Bowls annoy me. I realize it's more than Quarterbacks, but they had the tandem of Bradshaw/Roethlisberger during their big runs. I would take our great tandem of Kelly/Allen all day and we have zippo rings.

That was Mel Kiper's rant on ESPN yesterday. That playing Bryce for one series in preseason against Buffalo's 3rd stringers was a complete joke. It's bad enough when the #1 overall QB pick is busting, but it makes it so much worse when the guy who was right there for you (Stroud) is now being talked about as one of the AFC's best just behind Mahomes, Allen and Lamar. And Stroud is still ascending. That would just make me sick as a Panthers fan.

McDermott is great in these revenge type games, in the regular season anyway. So I think the Bills play sharp and win but of course it won't be easy. It rarely is, unless the random Miami game.
