Chargers +3.5 (defense by LA keeps this close) 49ers +2.5 (GB is just not impressive, 49ers must have this) Wash -10.5 (Cowboys right now are the worst team in the NFL and Wash is coming off back to back L's and a mini bye week.

The days of the NFL blue bloods are pretty much over. People aren't going to tune in for the Cowboys and Raiders just because they are National brands. People want to see the best teams and the best players. The Bills with Allen have been a great TV watch for 5+ years now and have attracted more fans.

Detroit has been getting such a nice lead in a lot of their games that it forces the opponent to pass on 3 of 4 plays in the second half. If we beat the 49ers and Rams, I'm not going to lose sleep if the Bills drop one to Detroit. I don't think Buffalo is going 15-2 and I think KC will also be losing a couple more games. The important thing for all of us should be Allen and the team staying as healthy as possible entering playoff week 1.

Maybe. He just can't have a lousy game that's for sure. I think his biggest hurdle was beating undefeated KC, which he accomplished. And the splash play to win the game was what all the country needed to see.

Sean probably counts out 13 seconds while he’s doing menial tasks like watching the K-cup machine brew his coffee. I’m sure he’s already tortured by it in the offseason.

The whole grumpy persona and mumbling through his Patriots press conferences and saying nothing was totally a schtick. That was pretty well known from the people that were around him in-season. He did occasionally do offseason interviews where he would be a totally normal guy with a completely different personality.

Yeah i agree about the game. Back when i lived in ATL the Bills fans would come out in big numbers to games there and in Charlotte. That was even before Allen.

It's unfortunate for Gabe and kinda' sad actually (other than he's getting PAID well). You can sort of see the horizon of his career winding down already. There's just up and coming younger and better WRs that are going to push him out, especially if he's not healthy and playing.

I feel like Samuel was like this last season with Washington.. He was not healthy and basically did nothing the first 10 games or so, then the last part of the season he was suddenly noticeable and making plays for them.

Hopefully Chase and Tee will be playing elsewhere. What, Charlotte and Cleveland don't excite you?!? 😜

For the people critical of McDermott, you don't think Cincinnati fans would like to have 'ol Sean McD?! Someone who is capable of cobbling together a solid defense year after year and also oversee a great offense with a great QB. The Bengals are a really talented team imo, but Taylor is doing a poor job keeping both sides of the ball together.

I think we all knew Dallas would leave that drive with no points after accepting the penalty and taking a massive 64 yarder off the board. I figured a turnover. But a turnover on downs same result. dummies.

I take nothing away from McD and staff yesterday. They had a great game. BUT, there were a few times during that game where KC ran a play that just wasn’t their best play call. No way. I feel Reid was holding back some stuff, and it was still a one possession game until Josh had his big run. Also, they will probably have Pacheco and Hollywood Brown back for playoffs or even sooner. Their offense won’t look like it did yesterday. and ours hopefully has all the troops back as well.

They don’t want to give it to Lamar again, until he proves some playoff success. Allen is the chosen one for this season as long as he puts up solid numbers over the final six games and finishes no worse than #2 seed. The general consensus is Allen is doing more with less supporting cast, and overperforming compared to expectations.

I feel like Pittsburgh was 10-0 or something a few years ago, and everyone knew it was fraudulent.. and it was.

Emmanuel Acho is one of the MVP voters. He said on his show a few mins ago that Josh is now the frontrunner. He explained it's not only what Josh is doing this season...but who he is doing it with. Acho and James Jones have said the Ravens and Lions have a better supporting cast than Allen does.

Von needs to be off the field if he's not going to give max effort all the way through the end of the play. In his post game presser he talked about being proud of the D and proud of himself. Ok, be proud and don't quit on a play.

Based on the vibe from the national morning sports shows so far, it's back to being Allen's MVP to lose. It's probably a combo of: 1) Mahomes having a very average season for him,, Chiefs fatigue (and the Bills beating them head to head) 2) Lamar/Ravens have 4 losses. Lost to KC and rival Pitt. To me, Lamar is having a better season than last year but the voters have given him two MVP's already and he's been a playoff letdown. So he would have to do way more than anyone to win again and he may not even win his division. 3) Goff- For whatever reason, he's not getting the MVP momentum maybe he deserves. It could be the 5 int game. Maybe because Detroit has great playmakers and media thinks they would be good regardless. Goff doesn't have the splash running ability so he needs to be judged purely on passing. 4) Hurts, Murray, Herbert, etc.. Long odds The general feeling i get is that media wants Allen to win it this year. It's possible that it's finally an appreciation of his numbers over the past 5 years, and his great playoff numbers.... even against KC (in losses). I've heard a few TV guys mention that without Allen, the Bills would be hurt more than the other big playoff teams. He means that much. So if Josh can avoid another Houston game.. and just continue to put up his numbers, i think he might win it even with the #2 seed.

Watching it live I was a bit worried about Cowher lol. He went harder than much younger Matt Ryan did.

Phew, Bengals just about eliminated in reality.

Burrow is good at climbing the pocket straight ahead and the Chargers just keep forgetting about that in crucial situations during this game.

This is a good game and oh boy what a painful loss it would be if the Chargers blow it.

Kelce was better, he’s looking older now even one season removed. KC also had Rashee Rice, Pacheco and MVS making plays. Their offense is not as good right now as it was in that game.
