One of the most impressive things about Singletary,,, I've always liked him, is that he is durable. The guy has taken so many hits as a RB and do you ever see him get up grabbing his ankle or knee? or his hamstring? He's almost never on the injury report. That is outstanding in my book.

Daniels is definitely better this early than I thought he'd be. His LSU completion% has transferred nicely to the NFL. The guy is so chill he doesn't seem phased. His heartbeat is probably 50 BPM at the start of games. The only question is would he take too many sacks but he's using his legs to get out of trouble when necessary.

This team’s mentality is similar to the 90’s teams
zow2 replied to Snappysnackcakes's topic in The Stadium Wall
The thing i remember well about those early-mid 90's Bills teams is that we were the best in the AFC. Sure, you had Marino and Moon and Montana came over to the Chiefs...but Kelly and the Bills were well above those clubs. We knew it, they knew it. The Bills also dominated the NFC during that era except for the Super Bowl game(s), which is so frustrating but whatever, that's history. This Bills team over the past 4-5 years is super talented but have not been well above the rest of the AFC. Sure they win a lot of regular season games, but winning the games that matter is what you need. I actually think our best path to beating KC in the playoffs, is not to play them. I think a team like the Jets is a bad matchup for KC and if the Jets get a wild card and happen to play the Chiefs that would be ideal. -
In the offseason, Allen clearly worked with Brady or whoever on cutting down the turnovers. You’d figure it would cost Josh some of his off script amazing plays, but it hasn’t. He’s not putting the ball in harms way to feed Diva receivers yet he’s still making some great athletic plays. Just a phenomenal start to the season.

This is not a must win for Buffalo and I think that will work in our favor. They will play loose and have fun out there. I think the Bills will put up some points here, probably 27-30... The question is can they stop Baltimore from outscoring them? It is absolutely a must win for the Ravens and they will try to bully the Bills with their supposed physicality and game day histrionics over the Sound system (which can be annoying as hell as a visiting fan rooting against the Ravens). But again, the Bills have been a solid road team in the Allen era and this will be a fun competitive game.

I never imagined i’d be casually watching the game by 9:15pm with zero stress while eating a bowl of cereal and browsing through the game day thread. Unreal. I just assumed i’d be sweating this game out, pacing back and forth.

Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes: The changing of the guard?
zow2 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Saw this stat on TV today of Allen's last 5 games (including playoffs). Comp Pct. 71.6 Pass YPG 204.6 TD-Int 11-0 Pass Rtg 118.0 Rush YPG 46.2 Rush TD 5 It's really astounding that he's not 5-0 in those games. Mahomes🤬 169 attempts without an INT (longest active streak in the NFL currently) -
All whites please. I'll be there.

I wish they were underdogs every game

Joe was jumpy out there and took bad angles on two decent Jaguars running plays. A few other times he hung in there and was in on the play. Linebackers improve with playing time. I'm sure he will too. After listening to Von gush about Javon Solomon on the post game presser, I really can't wait to see that guy play more. He's going to be a big disruptor out there.

Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes: The changing of the guard?
zow2 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
For most of the last 5 years I've said that Mahomes is the best QB while Josh is the best overall athlete in the NFL. But yeah, now the game seems to have slowed to a crawl for Allen and he's processing everything pre-snap, during the play, etc.. He has been able to slow his heart rate or whatever at the beginning of games to where he is relaxed now. It's crazy how good he is at this moment... so yeah now i think he's the best QB in addition to the overall best athlete. -
I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better
zow2 replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
When you have a QB as good as Allen, he will make all the receivers better for sure. He raises everyone up. They made a big deal on ESPN this morning when Allen said in his presser that "it's wonderful to have players who don't care about their stat line and TD's" They said it was pretty much throwing Diggs under the bus and running him over. It certainly wasn't malicious, but that's what the national media took away, that Diggs was really a pain in the a$$ for Josh and the offense. Probably why they moved away from him late last season. -
It hurt a bit last night when they brought up that stat that over 5 years the Bills are the first team to ever win 63+ games and NOT be in a Super Bowl. Ugh. It's all due to Mahomes and Reid. We need to get over that hump. Josh should have his name etched in the Super Bowl winning history books. He's that good and yes, we will not see another one like him around here.

How are we feeling about the next 3 weeks?
zow2 replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd love to win 2 of those 3, but accept the reality that in the NFL you're never as good as you look one week, and never as bad from week to week. So in our case, we're not going to blow away the Ravens, Texans and Jets. These will be tough games, we might lose the turnover margin in a couple... and i hope the Bills get out of them relatively healthy. -
Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes: The changing of the guard?

Allen is at another level. But he’s going to need a Chiefs-like defense in the playoffs to break through. You cant sustain all those injuries or terrible defensive breakdowns in January
