  1. Purdy won’t be 100% if he plays, not even close. Shoulder injuries suck for anyone but especially a quarterback. I’m not convinced he plays. But we still have to contain CMC, Deebo, Kittle, etc and that won’t be easy
  2. Minshew may have had an outside chance to upset KC next friday, but his left shoulder looked to be wrecked on a sack. He’s out, Desmond Ridder has no chance to beat KC.
  3. Even after today’s game, KC fans are like yeah we’re fine, no worries, when the playoffs start the Chiefs will unlock playoff mode and defeat everyone just like they always do. Well i’m not seeing it. They are a good NFL team this season. They are not special in any way. Their defense has been exposed in recent weeks and the O is not steamrolling anyone. KC is trending towards an early playoff exit in their first game. Calling it now i don’t think the Bills even play KC in the playoffs this season.
  4. I think it’s more psychological. Until someone beat the champs, no one had seen it. Now the aura surrounding them is down. I’m sure KC will beat Carolina, but the Raiders, Chargers, Broncos, Steelers, Texans, Browns will all give them a serious obattle.
  5. So was that basically a playoff game for the Hoosiers? are they cooked? fighting in a higher weight class today they don’t look all that playoff worthy.
  6. Shoulder injuries are so tricky. I never experienced one until Fall 2023. Ironically it happened from just messing around throwing the football w friends. Couldn’t lift my arm up above the shoulder at all, could not throw. Could not sleep comfortably. The pain was intense. They said it was an impingement, and bursitis. A year later and after therapy and all sorts of stuff it feels better, but not nearly 100%. i will not throw a ball hard again. Now Brock Purdy is in the prime of his athletic career and will heal faster than some middle age guy. But i have a new appreciation for QB shoulder injuries. I think it’s the worst kind of injury to have for QB.
  7. I don’t think it’s happening, but i’ll watch just to see if Carolina can hang in there. KC really wants a get-well game in this spot. A nice blowout win. If they are incapable of blowing out Carolina at home, i think KC are trending to an early playoff exit.
  8. I think Purdy is solid. SF will not be all that good without him.
  9. Yep, Miami is due to beat the Bills at some point in the near future and another team I'd hate to play for a different reason is Cincinnati. So I hope both the Bengals and Fins are eliminated. They should be. I know if the Bills were sitting there with 6 or 7 losses right now, there's no way I would expect them to make it in. I don't care what the schedule looks like.
  10. How about selecting 2 or 3 games when the schedule comes out for late season TNF games and list the date/time as TBD. That way there is an understanding well in advance that anyone buying tickets to those specific games in week 16 or whatever, might be a Thursday nighter.
  11. My initial reaction without reading any comments on the twitter post is that this is brutal for the fans who planned to attend and stinks for the Broncos/Chargers who never planned on having a short week Thursday nighter in week 16. What are they gonna do next year, flex 2 more attractive at the 11th hour to the Germany game?!
  12. As far as national audience ratings... I think the Sunday 4:25pm "big game" that is broadcast to the country traditionally gets the big ratings number for regular season. It's a great time slot. CBS drew 31.14 million viewer for Bills over KC. That is the highest TV audience so far in the 2024 NFL season.
  13. That’s a crazy 4th qtr. I thought Cleveland was cooked at 19-18. Hard to believe that Steelers D didn’t stop them.
  14. I would trust Boswell kicking a GW field goal in this weather, but Hopkins? no
  15. Mostly feel bad for those great Browns fans that came out and sat through this, and still have to drive home on crappy roads. They should be rewarded with a Win
  16. I think the Chargers, Broncos, Texans and Steelers will be laser focused on beating Kansas City. I'm thinking KC loses 2 of those games, outside chance to lose 3. The Bills wiped out their aura of invincibility and silly luck.
  17. Yeah, The narrative this season is that of the leading MVP QB candidates, Josh has the least impressive supporting cast. He's doing more with less. I also think there's a little bit of "lifetime achievement award" mixed in. His offensive production over the past 5 years or so is outrageous. And there is Lamar fatigue, plus he's also flamed out in big playoff games. Yesterday on one of the TV shows, they discussed the stats of Josh Allen in his Losing playoff games and they were still awesome. The hosts noted that throughout his career, Allen is not the reason the Bills have been eliminated.
  18. Dolac is awesome. I bet he's happy that he transferred back to UB before the season started. It will be cool to see where he ends up in the NFL and follow his journey. I saw some people online comparing him to Zach Thomas, the Miami LB from back in the day, who happens to be in the NFL HOF now! (he was considered undersized and unathletic coming out of college and was a 5th round pick).
  19. The hanging doll was classless. But i'm well into middle age and just don't think stuff is funny that many young adults do. That being said, I hope others around the league realize that just a few people did that and not the whole fanbase. I've been to a bunch of Bills road games and try not to paint entire fanbases when i have bad interactions.
  20. For some reason, i feel like the Chiefs or Bills will lose a heartbreaker before they ever meet this season. Unless KC really improves offensively, i think they can get picked off even at Arrowhead. The Bills will be on a mission like never before, but they probably have to get past teams like the Chargers/Broncos and Ravens/Steelers before they'd even get to play KC.
  21. Maybe he can be in the conversation, but i just don't think a coach entering his 8th year or whatever is what Coach of the Year is about. Just like i don't think Andy Reid, John Harbaugh, etc.. should be coach of the year either. When i think of COY, it's usually a guy in the early stages of his head coach tenure with a team, that has a great year or takes a lousy club and really improves them. McDermott has two achievements that have yet to be unlocked. Win the AFC Championship and win the Super Bowl. Anything short of those are a failure.
  22. The Cowboys are actually the worst team in the NFL now.
  23. That's the price of success. The Beane Tree
  24. It didn't bother me. It's not like he knew the camera was on him at that moment. That was obviously his way of coping with the big L. and you know he's thinking see ya in January for the payback.
  25. Of course I think GB will be tough. But they are coming off and improbable end of game win, and SF coming in off a terrible end of game loss. I just like SF coming off that loss.
