  1. I think He will get poached pretty fast. He has the instincts, we’ve seen it now. I mean this team has to use AJ Kline in a playoff game. I’m sure there is room on the active for Andreesen.
  2. what sucks about starting and playing the whole game with Mitch and DiNucci. Our wide receivers get no work whatsoever because these quarterbacks stink and can’t get the ball to them or too scared to throw down field to anyone other than a tight end or running back.
  3. Mitch injured his left knee. They don’t know yet how serious.
  4. He looked good. real good. Cook and Ty are gonna have some competition. The other RBs looked decent too. That Hardy kid looks good.
  5. Joe led the D with 12 tackles the other UB guy on D (Jamarcus Ingram) was second with 9.
  6. I watch plenty of UB Bulls games and Andreesen was solid but i never thought he’d show out like that on an NFL field. Excellent job tonight. The other LB on UB who is also a local product, Shaun Dolac, looked better to my untrained eye. Maybe Dolac gets a shot next spring.
  7. Mitch is terrible and i’m kind of tired of Beane signing our main backup because they are friends of or vibe with Allen. They need a gamer like a Minshew or draft a young guy with some wheels. Mitch is so conservative that he will lead the league in 3 and outs if he plays. If he takes chances downfield he will turn the ball over for sure.
  8. Andreesen. From Depew to Lancaster HS, to Bryant and finally UB. Really makes you wonder sometimes. The Bills spend all that time scouting LBs and spending draft picks, and this dude literally walks on locally for a tryout and looks better than any of them.
  9. Even Lou Anarumo’s vanilla preseason D can make Caleb look meh. I always liked the Bengals D under that guy. They play tough up front and very tight in all coverage. Probably get burnt from time to time on the back end but they force a lot of 3 and outs.
  10. I'm sure Beane is on the phone to Carolina to see which Panthers LB cuts can save the day.
  11. Another reason why the 13 seconds year, and prior year are so heart breaking. The team had good luck and was as healthy as they could ask for. The injury luck has turned bad.
  12. I've said for a few years, as long as Allen stays healthy we're good. Seems like the Bills are gonna test that theory this season. These guys run a bit and tweak, pull, strain, etc.. every body part and muscle that can possibly be hurt.
  13. Pretty bad. and on the flip side anytime the opponent has a 3rd and 9 from anywhere i assume they will convert on our D
  14. Due to training camp and preseason developments, there's always one fanbase that has to feel completely hopeless going into the season. This year it's gotta be Minnesota. If nothing else, the Vikings fans were really looking forward to JJ eventually starting over Darnold, maybe sooner than later. Also, WR Jordan Addison may be suspended and TE T.J. Hockenson is not recovering all that well from knee surgery. Not to mention they have to contend with Detroit, who are no longer up and coming, they are just good. Green Bay looks ready to challenge Detroit, and Chicago has definitely gotten better across the board and look better than Minnesota on paper.
  15. I'm honestly ok with this. Trubisky definitely needs the game reps. If by some stroke of bad luck he gets injured I'm not even that worried about it. The season is toast if Allen is out for any period of time so I'm not stressing about Trubisky.
  16. The problem is, there are no sure-thing kickers just hanging around out of work. Yes, Bass missed a huge kick and a few along the way. But he still has talent and if you cut him based on that, it could be trouble. There are tons of examples. Early last season i recall Ron Rivera getting pissed with Dustin Hopkins because he missed an extra point and a couple FGs. They just cut him flat out. The Browns picked him up and he did just fine,, and then signed him to an extension 3 years nearly $16m. Meanwhile the Commanders are dying, their kicker replacements sucked.
  17. Yeah, I often see those Beef on Weck sandwiches in the plastic container at the Wegmans in Maryland. The price always turns me off, but then all their prepared lunches and dinner are pricey. One of these days I'll try it.
  18. I’m the person that started the thread last preseason that the “next tackle James Cook breaks will be his first”. Well he proved me wrong, maybe didn’t break a ton but he was slippery enough and had a nice season. I don’t like the dropsies on perfectly thrown passes but can’t kill him for dropping a couple in camp. Let’s see the real games
  19. Nah, i don't watch. I'm one of those that thinks JJ will have a better NFL career than Drake Maye.
  20. That sucks. I think he will be solid and still surprised the NYG passed him by on draft day. I get Nabers,,, but the Giants really need a QB imo and JJ was a good fit and was right there for them.
  21. I agree, i don't play him at all. Lose 30-3 I don't care. Seems like his arm is getting plenty of reps in practice and we all know what he can do.
  22. Ya just gotta hope and pray that Shakir, Samuel, Coleman, Kincaid, Knox and Cook stay healthy. Those will be the vast majority of pass catchers.
  23. Tyreek is super fast, I'd bet he'd be right there at 40 meters...but i doubt 100 meters. I would take the guy who trains day in and day out for 100 meters and has proven to beat the worlds fastest opponents.
  24. I got confused and thought DiNucci was Tommy Devito. I thought they were the same guy 😆
  25. Well, no matter how much some of the posters here want to spin it as a nothing burger, good 'ol Sean McD was pissed after the game. You could tell he was seething during points of that game. He was fairly transparent about his displeasure. Who knows...maybe getting slapped in the face will do them good. you see a team like the Bears have an urgency to get better Now, and the Bills just kinda went through the motions.
