They discussed Josh Allen on the FS1 show The Facility this morning and whether he can beat out Lamar for MVP. They didn't even mention Goff. Shady said Lamar would win it today but Josh can definitely catch up. James Jones said Josh gets up out of bed and has 40+ Tds every year and that's really hard to do. Acho said while Lamar is probably having the better season so far, he also thinks Lamar has way more high level weapons than Allen, so what Josh is doing is arguably more impressive. And since Acho is a voter he thinks it will be close, IF Allen can maintain what he's doing and build on it with Cooper. They all agree that if Lamar was removed from the Ravens lineup and Josh was removed from the Bills lineup...the Ravens would still be pretty good, and the Bills would suck.

Early in the season i had the sense that the media, etc.. wanted Josh to win the MVP. But then the performance on SNF vs Baltimore hurt bad and followed up by a 9 for 30 game. That was the nail in the proverbial coffin. He played a nice second half vs Tennessee but would have to go on a tremendous heater vs teams like Seattle, KC, SF, Detroit, etc.. and that's assuming Lamar and Goff would tail off, have a few poor games and losses. Lamar still has to play the Steelers twice and Bengals again, as well as a solid Denver defense. Personally i think Lamar was fraudulent last season and won MVP only because they were the #1 seed. But it was in large part due to the Ravens D and special teams. I would've awarded Josh or maybe Purdy. And for the record I think Lamar has been outstanding this season. Much more deserving so far than he was last season even if they aren't the 1 seed. But the voters may not want him to get a 3rd MVP so he's chasing from behind.

2 games is nothing. But they need Williams badly to make a deep run as their WR's are really just him and Amon-Ra.

I feel like Keon is going to have many reviewable catches in his career, mainly because he's specializes in these contested catches right by the sidelines. So they will always look at the feet,,, but the tiny little ball wobble while cradling it will also be micro-reviewed. I hate that because in real time a lot of the NFL receivers make great boundary catches and you can't see anything with the naked eye. Then on replay the smallest bobble or repositioning of the ball while maintaining control of it is overturned. I'm not a fan of that.

I was in Seattle back in 2014 and 2018. My main memory is that whenever i parked my rental car downtown, i was literally accosted by homeless people asking for money.. very aggressive. And that was BEFORE things went downhill during and after the covid crisis. So have fun for all you visiting Pike Place, etc. It is cool but be prepared for some serious pan handling in your face.

The Chargers are so mediocre. They don't look any better than previous years, sorry Harbaugh. That was a terrible loss.

i mean he’s definitely having a great season. better than last year when i didn’t think he deserved it. the Ravens D and special teams won them a lot of games and Lamar was along for the ride on a #1 seed. But this year he’s been outstanding

When DK got carted off late in yesterdays game you knew he wasn’t playing vs Buffalo. Hate to see a good player get hurt but sometimes it does benefit your team and it will help the Bills DBs. Hope he’s back soon, fun to watch him.

By the way, don’t mean to hijack the Bass thread but i watched yesterday as Martin averaged 39.4 per punt and Araiza averaged 59.7. Still gets me PO’d that KC signs him.

Several people are lamenting today that the national sports shows are largely ignoring the Bills win over Tennessee. We all have to keep in mind, the Bills wins this season are over teams that have a combined winning percentage of around .256. Obviously had they beaten Baltimore or Houston that would be higher, but .256 is not going to move the needle for most media. The Bills have a reputation of putting up good stats against the Tennessee's of the world. I actually don't mind if Buffalo skates into the playoffs this year by feasting on the mediocre to bad teams. If they lose to Balt, Hous, KC I can live with that since Buffalo would have the revenge payback all lined up for the playoff games. McDermott is great in revenge games and i want to have that chip in the playoffs.

Other than KC, no NFL team wins every game they're supposed to win. And even in their Super Bowl years the Chiefs lost some head scratchers here and there. The Bills have lost to non respected NFL QBs like Zach Wilson and Mac Jones on multiple occasions. So i guess my point is, anything can happen.

I don't watch GMFB anymore, agree it's not that good. I prefer the first 30-45 mins of Get Up as they go over some of the big stories.. I like Rex and some of the guys on set and their opinions.

Those last 3 games. Sit everybody. The only chance we have is to be healthy for the playoffs.

All three RB's scored a TD yesterday. That's what I call eating! Davis looks great and Ty Johnson may have the best hands on the team.

I can understand reversals for ball scraping the ground and whether feet are inbounds… but the small wobble that can only be picked up by super slo mo broken down frame by frame. I hate that. because in real time with the naked eye these guys make great catches and control the ball.
