  1. They just said Lamar looking to clinch his 3rd MVP today... RG3 said he locks it up with a good performance vs Houston. Did i hear this pregame show correctly or am I having a nightmare?!?
  2. My gosh, lol,,, RG3 said on the Netflix pregame show that if Jackson looks great today and gets a few TD's he locks up the MVP. His reason is based on this being a game viewed worldwide and having better statistics across the board than Allen. and the Bills have two blah games left against losing teams that few will see. His reasoning is so lame... he's simply ignoring the teams records, the outstanding play of Allen all season, tremendous National TV games vs the #1 seeds, 11 game of 30+ points, etc.. All the games Allen sat early and didn't stat pad, etc..
  3. Bills have to get the Ravens at home if they meet up. 2 seed is huge but I suppose Houston could do us a big favor today.
  4. Yeah, barring a Houston upset I think McD gets the guys to play a complete game Sunday. They will play well, and get a much deserved week 18 for all the key guys to heal up.
  5. If we meet in the divisional round, I'm not scared of the Ravens at home in Orchard Park. I would not want to go back to Baltimore but I think the Bills can outscore the Ravens if necessary at home. Give me KC at Arrowhead for a shot at the Super Bowl. I'll take it. Chiefs D is really tough, and Mahomes will try to ball control Buffalo to death and cash in. Again, Bills would need Allen to be possessed and score high 20's-30 like they did in the earlier game....which almost no one does vs this version of KC.
  6. Combined records of Detroit and Kansas City: vs. Buffalo = 0-2 vs. Rest of League = 28-1 That has to matter to some voters out there.
  7. I hate to say it but KC looks great. Definitely in Super Bowl mode. And i know the stats back it up I've often felt they play better on the road than at Arrowhead. I would not mind a date in Arrowhead for a chance at playoff redemption.
  8. You’re going to be depressed for a bit, then move on with life. Like all of us ✌️
  9. KC winning is gonna hurt Cincinnati. The Chiefs are not going to risk all their best players at Denver in week 18. and that might be a play in game for the broncos
  10. elite throw by Mahomes there
  11. Seems like a typical Chiefs game. They go up by 3-7 points early and pretty much maintain that all the way through because their defense is top notch.
  12. What do I think? So far I think he's just along for the ride. But if he gets usage in the playoffs and delivers it's all worth it.
  13. The one thing I have admired about Russ Wilson over the years is when he makes a crappy throw or an INT, he doesn't ever let it bother him. He's mentally tough when it comes to that.. He will just keep slinging it. Some QBs you see hang their head or play more conservative when something goes bad.
  14. How do you not catch that lol, my gosh Pittsburgh.
  15. I think people are right when they say KC is "bored" going through the regular season. Because when they really want to win badly, Mahomes and the team look terrific. and this game is obviously huge because it gets them the 1 seed and bye. By the way, sorry quick off topic take, a certain JA17 deserves MVP just for giving KC their only loss.. (week 18 won't matter if they win today).
  16. Teams go in psyched out by KC at first. Pittsburgh not playing their game. Lucky fumble recovery too. Chiefs defense doesn't get out-schemed and gashed too much like other teams. Their D really has dictated their season the past two years and now the offense is getting guys back which sucks.
  17. Pretty funny that one ref was right there watching the Worthy celebration just as closely as if he was watching if the ball crossed the goaline.
  18. Dang these Chiefs. I was sure they wouldn't 3-peat but man they are getting more guys back at the perfect time.
  19. I think Derrick Henry is going to have over 1700 yards rushing after today.. is that his best year ever? He's a huge reason why Lamar is having great success. Defenses can't just key on Jackson. But again, just because Lamar is having a better statistical season than either of his MVP years, doesn't mean he automatically gets it. You won't hear it publicly, but I do believe the voters want to spread the award around. And the fact that Jackson has won his 2nd MVP just last year, and the Ravens record is likely to be worse than Buffalo, Philly, Detroit and KC, I doubt he gets the award. For whatever reason, the TV sports shows are fawning over him lately especially after the NY Giants game. I think Lamar got more love for that performance vs a crappy team on the same day than Allen got for winning at #1 seed Detroit. If Josh gets passed over, I think it's going to Saquon or even Goff.
  20. Ha yeah. I can already foresee the narrative after the game that if the Jets had only started Tyrod sooner, they’ve would’ve been in the playoff mix.
  21. The voters know that. And it’s seared into their brains that Lamar has fizzled in the playoffs. You’re right they aren’t awarding Jackson 3 MVP’s to Mahomes’ 2 without having done anything in the playoffs. The award is going to be spread around. When Belichek was coaching the Pats all those years they could’ve given him the Coach of the Year award 10 times. But he only got it 3 times. I thought Allen played really conservative vs NE. didn’t take off and run much until it was too late to do anything. Seemed like he was under the weather to me. The few really good passes he threw were not handled cleanly by Shakir, Cooper and at least one by Kincaid. So if Josh wants to grab the MVP he can do it this Sunday with a solid Josh Allen performance. If he doesn’t care about MVP and wants to lollygag around and play conservative then maybe Saquon or Goff jumps over him. I really don’t see them handing Lamar a 3rd after gifting him the MVP last season w 29 TDs.
  22. That sort of implies Beane has constructed a garbage roster which i don’t think is the case. But it will be better next season than it is this season imo.
  23. I think the Bills will be sharper. McDermott was pissed on Sunday. I believe they will put together a nice game vs NY, get back to some offensive mojo and then it likely gets shut down at NE in the final game. If KC loses to Pittsburgh of course they will have to win the last two and they won’t mail in the NE game.
  24. As of tonight on BetMGM the odds are: Josh -500 Lamar +350 Saquon +1400 Goff +2500 Mahomes +10000 Darnold +10000 Like others have said, still a sizeable gap between Allen and Lamar. He could eat into it vs Houston on Wednesday. Texans suffered some tough injuries and i think their LB that hit Trevor Lawrence still has to sit out this game, unfortunately. Allen should play better this week vs Jets. The Bills were sloppy and McDermott hates that. I think they will come out and play well, maintain the 2 game lead over Baltimore and that should do it. Let’s not choke this award away.
  25. Yep, i’ve read other teams fan boards and media takes and there are many who say Lamar is worthy but the award needs to be spread around. I still think Allen should win on merit…doing more with less, 11 games of 30+ points, beating the best AFC and NFC team while putting up great numbers…and all the records and splash plays in prime time. The voters know they awarded Lamar a bit of a gift last season. Dak, Josh, CMC, Purdy, all could’ve won it.
