  1. Agree. I liked him after we drafted him but once i started reading his twitter stuff it turned me off. Posts a lot of cryptic things that can be misconstrued and and shows his insecurity with his relationships and job. Like everyone is after him. He's the kind of athlete that should not be on social media.
  2. It's probably the basic ticket. i do want the RZ channel and I plan to call back in a couple weeks to make sure i'm getting it.
  3. I made the call yesterday morning. The first lady in customer service must've been a newbie. She was very nice but didn't care about my 16 years of loyalty...and was not offering me any deal. I said i was going to cancel and asked for Retention. While speaking to the retention guy, he claimed the best he could do was lower it to $35/mo x 6 months. I said, that's still $210 for the package and I'm having a hard time justifying that and staying with Directv. I told him i may need to cancel. He left the call for a few minutes while "consulting" with his manager. Came back and said if i agree to stay with Directv another one year he could give me $50 credit per month (for 12 months). That's $600 in credit for the year (and i wasn't gonna leave anyway). That will be more than enough to cover my Sunday ticket monthly price and then some.
  4. So sad to see this type of unimaginable terror...again!
  5. That's crazy. Even if the kid was dipping his toes in the water, the family is from Nebraska and no way would've though a Gator was a threat there.. Apparently there is a "No Swimming" sign but nothing about risk of alligators. I think Disney is in some serious crap here. They make it an inviting little beach/sand/play area for people. Disney is full of little kids running around. Gators can pop out of any body of water and snatch their prey from the edge. Shoulda been some serious warnings about the risks of playing near the water...
  6. The side closest to downtown (sections 100-105, 148-153) are usually bathed in sunshine that time of year. Yes, it can get hot. If you sit in the lowers row 36 and higher, you will be shaded under the overhang. As for getting tickets, every Bills fan wanting to attend should just take what they can get when they become available. All seats are owned by PSL owners and every game is an automatic sellout. The only tix available for Ravens games are on NFL Ticket Exchange, Stub Hub or other secondary sellers. With the excitement surrounding the new season and their home opener, sellers will be asking double. Anything less just buy them.
  7. Seems kinda dumb for the NFL to schedule the same color rush match-up as last year,,,Bills vs Jets. I mean it's a case of been there done that. I'd rather see Buffalo in their classic AFL uni/helmet combo. But whatever, i guess maybe the Bills can be Red over blue pants or something. Not much more you can do to jazz up the green.
  8. I've followed and supported UB sports since forever, so yesterday was an amazing day. It's great to see a Buffalo program ascend the ladder and WIN. Two years in a row for the men. So exciting. We're so used to watching our Buffalo teams choke and lose that it's almost hard to comprehend when they win championships.
  9. Bill O'Brien has done a very good job with some ridiculous situations at QB over the past couple years. There's no doubt if he was leading the Bills in 2015 they would have a better record.
  10. Just too many times this season, it seems like Buffalo has come out of the gate sloppy, and out-schemed by their opponent..plus ridiculous penalties Before you can blink, they are behind in the 1st half. The coaching here stinks. I could not be more unimpressed with Rex and his cronies.
  11. Hopkins and Caleb Sturgis were two great college kickers drafted by Bills and Miami. Interesting that both are kicking for different teams now, and successful.
  12. Besides all the defensive and coaching woes from Rex are the trickle down effect with penalties. I think he's a marked man by the Refs. It's known his teams are undisciplined. That reputation cannot be undone. Just get rid of him and the staff now. Pegs took a shot and it failed. He can swallow the buy out.
  13. Sure, let Tyrod leave so we can watch someone like EJ or TJ Yates run the show. That would just be great. He may not be Big Ben but the guy can throw a helluva ball. This year experience will make him better
  14. All that did was buy further slanted officiating against Buffalo. Not sure what Rex has done in the past but refs seem to nitpick his team like none other. Look around the league. In the Jets/Titans game there was like 6 total penalties in the entire game. We had 15!! That's absurdity. And multiple times this year. I blame the majority on our loosey goosey coaching staff and players...but some on over-officiating. Probably won't change until Rex is outta here.
  15. I've said it before, the Bills get more mileage (i.e. publicity) out of the 4 Super Bowl losses than any team has received from winning. So in that regard, it eases some of the disappointment of never winning it. They have been recognized as some of the best teams and best players ever.
  16. Marrone is gone so who cares. I'm like others here who were cautiously optimistic about Rex but now feel it's a failure. Honestly, Rex doesn't seem on the cutting edge of anything and maybe even borderline dumb. He's always having to react to stuff on the field and criticism. Rarely seems to out scheme anyone or not get "out adjusted" by opponent coaches. I have to say, I was in favor or Schwartz being named head coach. Not sure that would've worked out but in hindsight he seemed like a better choice.
  17. Pats defense is the most underrated unit in NFL. They really don't get the credit they deserve. So much more stout than Buffalo.
  18. Houston will snuff out the Bills offense. It will be something like 23-10 final, loss. We won't have to care about the Eagles or Cowboys, etc.. Those will just be draft position games.
  19. It's just sad that Buffalo ALWAYS comes up small in the biggest of moments. Coulda, shoulda beaten NE and KC on consecutive weeks. Had both teams struggling early and let em off the hook. As soon as a little adversity and push back happens, the Bills fail, like they always do. These were two games that would put them in the drivers seat for wild card. Now they are done. As usual.
  20. Yes he should stay as FG kicker. But wow, I immediately told my son after he missed the xtra point that it was gonna be huge. I just felt the balloon burst when he missed it and knew the Chiefs would come back.
  21. I wanna know what our record would be if Andy Reid was the head coach. Much better than 5-6 I bet.
  22. Somewhere along the way the Bills need to make up for a terrible loss vs. Jax and a bad home loss vs. Giants. I feel like a week from tonight they can get one back vs. NE. I dunno, i just have a feeling with Edelman being hurt our chances have improved greatly. Kansas City definitely concerns me. I'm hoping they are in the midst of their little hot streak and they start regressing again vs. the Bills.
  23. Yep, so that's 2 starters who may just be wasting a roster spot today. If they are active they must contribute.
  24. Cinci has injuries too. Every team has injuries. Can't get bullied 3 times in a row on your home field. It's the NFL. Gotta win one or two of those. Just awful.
  25. Don't like it. Seems like a reach to replicate the GB game from last year. They wore white for game #2 this year and lost (after winning in white the week before). Personally I just wish they stuck with blue jersey white pants at home. Every week.
