Why does anyone draft a QB? teams hope they hit on one and if they are decent can be an inexpensive backup. As for Peterman, his draft grade in some circles was very close to Kizer and Mahomes so getting him in the 5th was a steal. Too bad McD's out-of-the-box decision backfired and could screw up Nate's future career. I'm not doing the hindsight thing...I said last week they should NOT start Peterman on the road, but wait until the Indy home game. It's likely they would lose LA, KC and NE and be out of it anyway.

The guy in Atlanta (Quinn) has purposely followed the Sean Payton model of having two speedy RBs who can line up anywhere..and obviously a QB who can make some throws. What is the model here? Seems like the Bills are playing traditional football read and react with no plan whatsoever. I’d like to know what McDs vision is

McD seemed like he was really searching for some positives from Nate's performance. He kept referring to that first drive, and the tight window pass to Kelvin. He said Nate showed some good things. I really don't see how he can come back to him though. It was a historically bad performance in terms of NFL history., and accomplished in only a half. You can't send him out there in KC or vs. NE. i can see getting him in vs. Indy assuming we lose the next two.

Sooooo, any chance that Tyrod stewing for a few days and riding the bench for the 1st half can make him into a better QB? He seemed to come in and sling it a bit. but there was no real pressure on him down 30 points. So I'm not sure what to think of it? I do believe Tyrod gets the start vs. KC.

He refuses to talk about negativity. Says he saw some good things "baked" into that performance yesterday. Didn't reflect on the scoreboard. Says Peterman will learn and mistakes were shared among several on offense.

I didn't break down this guy's coverage ability, but #24 was the only Bills defensive player I saw hitting anyone with authority. He's the only guy I saw on D playing with pride and being physical all the way through. So props to Leonard Johnson. The other defenders especially in the 2nd half were letting dudes abuse them and some were making "business decisions" and shied away from contact.

If the Sabres lose tonight, and look bad again...I'd fire Housley immediately after the game. It's not my money, I'd pay him out and fire him. Team needs a new system, a new message.

Peterman set historical records for QB ineptitude (in only one half!)....even if you throw out that first INT. He surpassed John Skelton and Rex Grossman to name a few. They cannot start him next week at KC and Peterman may never start again after that game! I like the guy, hope he rebounds but he may not see the field again till next preseason (unless Tyrod gets injured).

My take is that this coaching staff is getting abused by other teams' staffs. The Jets, Saints and Chargers are seeing stuff on film and have exploited the Bills on both sides of the ball. Seems like the Bills coaches have done nothing to counter-attack or change up schemes. I get that Kelvin was supposed to be a huge part of the game-plan yesterday. His njury sent us reeling offensively. But that wasn't an excuse the prior two weeks. The D is just getting so out coached and dominated right now. Sad.

You gotta start Tyrod this week. If they throw Peterman out there at KC, that's a joke and not fair to him or the team. If they want to start him again it has to be a home game in the friendly confines.

NFL teams go up and down all season..right now the Bills are the worst team or at best bottom three. We know the O has no explosiveness. But holy cow, the D? they have just completely disappeared. It's almost inexplicable. Best explanation is the O is not maintaining possessions (and turnovers) and the D is gassed.

How about those Chargers with only 1 penalty for 13 yards. Imagine that, one penalty the entire game?!? SO they never grabbed a Bills jersey or anything. Not the reason we got blown out but just seems like a little home cooking.

When Frazier was hired, my buddy in Tampa (he's a Bucs fan) called me and laughed. Said Frazier was an awful DC down there. He couldn't believe the Bills hired him. I just laughed it off thinking he'd be different here. I guess my bud was right.

My beef with McD and his staff of buffoons is that they are getting severely outcoached and out schemed. Obviously while going 5-2 they did some pretty good things on tape. Well the Jets broke down that tape and figured out how to expose the Bills. The Saints followed suit and the Bills staff has done nothing to change things up other than to trot out Peterman. If Dennison and Frazier were fired tonight it would be the right move.

Put Peterman back on the shelf for now. Let him compete in training camp next summer. Hopefully this experience didn’t ruin him.

When you give up 50+ points there is a 0% chance Tyrod would have flipped that into a W. Would have been closer but not a W. That’s a fact.

I said it the time, the panthers went to the SB the season KB was hurt. But his curse is well down the list of several curses here, lol
