Garoppolo looks woozy and his shoulder could be really hurt

Kiko just planted Jimmy. Shoulder injury

I said it all last year, and I'll say it again. The most underrated and least talked about, great unit in football is the Patriots defense. They don't get enough credit.

I actually applaud the Pegulas if they came up with the notion that scoring on long bombs is "unsustainable" from week to week. Because other than the planned one to Goodwin and the scramble to Salas, the O was pretty poor and disheveled the first two weeks. Sully made his point but I disagree with some of it

Buffalo Bills Fire Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman

This. The lack of urgency in everything they do offensively, the burning timeouts because plays aren't coming in, ....No adjustments on offense against Baltimore.. No real ingenuity whatsoever. Did you see Pittsburgh last Monday? 4th and 1 and they throw a back shoulder fade,,,,4th and inches New England throws a slant that no one expects. We do nothing. -
I agree. The Patriots are so good at recognizing situations it makes me sick watching the Bills. The Pats know when to hurry up, when to slow down, when to get out of bounds, when to use timeouts properly, when to hurry up and get a play off before the other team can challenge....etc.. It all comes down to preparation and coaching and the Bills don't have that kind of leadership.

To me, the Cardinals are missing something this year. I also think Palmer has lost a couple MPH off his fastball. Bills are traditionally good vs. the NFC at home. I picked Buf because i figured they'd lose to NY and they would be desperate coming out 0-2. We'll see but I think it's a realistic win.

Posted 14 September 2016 - 12:03 PM vs. Jets Loss 30-13 vs. Ariz Win 24-20 @ NE Loss 31-17 @ LAR Win 19-13 vs. SF Win 23-16 @ Mia Loss 27-13 vs. NE Loss 37-24 @ Sea Loss 30-19 @ Cin Loss 27-24 vs. Jax Win 34-27 @ Oak Loss 38-27 vs. Pit Loss 29-21 vs. Cle Win 27-17 vs. Mia Win 17-13 @ Jets Loss 31-27 Unfortunately I see us going 6-10. I made the predictions above on Wednesday, I'll stick with it but kinda' worried about even getting to 6 wins. I was actually impressed that the Bills scored 24 vs. the Jets D. I thought last night would be more of a blowout. We were dominated though, no doubt about it.

Can't believe we are the only team that never tries to draw a PI penalty on 3rd and longs. So incredibly lame

might wanna throw to one on one coverage to try and draw a PI

Bills got away with a hold on that Tyrod run

Week 2 predictions: Jets at Bills on TNF
zow2 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When teams make it a point of emphasis to hit and rattle the QB, no matter how mobile he is, they usually do. And it takes a toll. I'm going to have a couple beers in Tyrod's honor tonight, because he has a huge target on his back and the Jets want to rough him up in the worst way. -

Greenberg on Mike & Mike is such a Jets homer, but he says the NYJ defensive line dominated a good Cincinnati O-Line like he has never seen before. Thinks the JETS D-Line is best in the NFL. The only reason Cinci won was by getting several huge explosive plays by AJ Green. That being said, I don't know who the Bills are getting any explosive plays from? It would have to be from Tyrod, McCoy or Watkins but that trio showed no ability to do anything in game #1. Being on the road will neutralize the Jets line a bit in my opinion. The Bills aren't horrible....but unless something crazy happens like last years Thursday nighter (a Buf Special teams or defensive TD) I see the Jets getting some revenge here and the Bills losing 27-13. -
Boring day here, just curious what others think the season results will be based on what we saw vs. Baltimore? Prior to Week 1, I had us finishing 8-8, here's my update with score predictions. vs. Jets Loss 30-13 vs. Ariz Win 24-20 @ NE Loss 31-17 @ LAR Win 19-13 vs. SF Win 23-16 @ Mia Loss 27-13 vs. NE Loss 37-24 @ Sea Loss 30-19 @ Cin Loss 27-24 vs. Jax Win 34-27 @ Oak Loss 38-27 vs. Pit Loss 29-21 vs. Cle Win 27-17 vs. Mia Win 17-13 @ Jets Loss 31-27 Unfortunately I see us going 6-10.

I don't think it's Russ Brandon's fault at all. But i becoming irrational about this non-playoff "curse" and starting to think about Indian burial grounds, etc.. In other words, i pin it on Russ that training camp moved to St. john Fisher and that has also been the one constant. I'm starting to wish they move it back to Fredonia or anywhere else in WNY, just to get away from that place.

Kinda funny that Rams fans circle Buffalo as one of their only legit winnable games...

Week 2 predictions: Jets at Bills on TNF
zow2 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1) Jets D-Line will overwhelm Bills O-Line. Those guys are tough, they sacked Dalton 7 times.. 2) Teams who perform pre-game ceremonies are often over-hyped and come out and lay an egg. 3) Jets are due to beat the Bills. Jets 33 Bills 13 -
I live and work 450 miles from Buffalo, so I have many longtime friends, coworkers, etc. who root for other teams (i.e. Pack, Steelers, Giants, Pats, Jets, Ravens, Panthers, Bengals, Bucs, Denver to name a few). At some point over the past 15-17 years most of their teams have made the playoffs, even won an occasional super bowl. I can tell after a few weeks every year they start to feel sorry for me and don't even take joy in rubbing it in as a Bills fan. We are viewed as basically an irrelevant team to other fans. People see me or send me texts and say, "sorry man, was hoping your team would make the playoffs for ya ". It's just sad, I feel like Pegula will turn this around but again, I think the Bills will have to get worse before they get better.

Just got back from the game, in person observations
zow2 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. I live near Baltimore so it was easy to be there. I felt so bad for all the great Bills fans who flew down or drove the 400 miles. The only thing they really had to cheer was pre game warmups. One guy near me had the Bills construction hat on and face paint. He was so quiet all day save for the one TD. I just felt horrible seeing all the Bills Fans leaving there with nothing to be excited about. -

I was at the game too. Winnable game, Flacco bobbled a few snaps and wasn't all that good. Fans in my section expected a Ravens win and were disappointed their team barely beat a woeful team like Buffalo. It was just a ho hum win for them. They kinda felt sorry for me for a minute. Tyrod throwing on the run was terrible, he's so much better than that. Sammy dropped that first down pass with 5 mins to go and that essentially killed the drive and we never saw the ball again. Sure hope his foot is ok. He seems not 100% Hate to say it but last year with Karlos Williams was a great 1-2 combo with shady. Not having a talent like that this year hurts. The Oline blows and they may have to get Gillislee and the rookie some playing time -
Hmmm, is there an over/under on blatantly horrible calls by refs for Bills and Ravens.?. either drive killing or drive extending (for opponent). I'd be interested to keep a tally on that. Trying to be optimistic here but I see the first drive going like this. Bills receive kickoff, move right down the field with some nifty running and passing. Get inside the 10 and we suffer a bad turnover , then it all goes downhill from there. Ravens 30 - Bills 13

UB football embarrassing loss to Albany.

A complete disaster for UB football. They just lost any shred of credibility they had and a lot of fan support last night. Shame. -
Your honest prediction for the Bills record this year

My heart say 10-6 if minimal injuries and some plain luck. My head says 6-10 is a real possibility though. -
Jared Goff = #1 overall pick, 3rd string QB
zow2 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Saw Goff play a bit this preseason and he does look awful. That's gotta suck to draft a guy #1 overall and know you could've had a Dak Prescott for nothing. Even Cardale Jones and the kid from Michigan (that lit up the Bills scrubs) look more like future NFL QB's.
