  1. If Allen can teach himself the subtleties of throwing the football in that typical west-south westerly wind in Orchard Park (usually from November on)...it would be a huge home field advantage. When the winds whip up like that it's usually going towards the tunnel end. Those deeper passes need some touch because they carry. He needs to throw very high, let the wind take it and allow the WR to run under it. He can learn.
  2. Well whatever the Ravens did it kinda worked. Bills only scored 10 offensive points. Both clubs missed FGs and had some bad overthrows. Obviously the wind was playing defense too.
  3. weirded thing i’ve seen in a while. i guess some Bills fans like getting the attention... and feel good paying for victories in a sense. I gave to Dalton/Boyd... it was spontaneous and organic. Since then only Allen’s thing and i’ll donate to Josh Norman’s initiative for sure.
  4. I'm expecting Mahomes to play and be fine. I know if Josh Allen got knocked woozy and the AFC Championship game was coming up, we'd all expect him to be out there, or at least do everything in his power to be out there. By Sunday eve, I think Mahomes' toe will be more of an issue for him than his head.
  5. Yep. and high wind doesn’t just make passing difficult, it makes catching the ball very tricky. that’s why the long passes are a waste of a down for the most part.
  6. I’m expecting Mahomes to play. there’s no way he’s sitting this one out. But between his head/neck and his hurting toe, maybe he won’t be the scramble threat he usually is. i would take that.
  7. Cant wait. Hope Mahomes plays, we can beat em with their guy. Bills offense has been a bit disjointed this post season. I think they get untracked in KC and play a very good game. McDermott is low key great when he has the revenge factor in games. The last couple weeks i noted how he owed a spanking to Indy and Baltimore from earlier bad losses in his Bills career. Now he owes KC from this season. McRevenge.
  8. Mahomes is gonna be dealing with that turf toe or whatever for a few weeks.
  9. The “over officious jerks” want their airtime today.
  10. the refs are calling more holding today than i’ve seen. all playoffs
  11. Totally agree. not that it isn’t classy but i’m kinda done donating to other team charities. rather support our own guys now...unless it’s something super special and organic like the Dalton to Boyd play was.
  12. Browns have been playing from ahead a lot this year and frittering away big leads. will be the opposite today. but i still think Cleveland will score a bunch. If i’m KC, i continue to lean on Mahomes and call way more passes than runs.
  13. KC’s best player is Mahomes followed by their WR/TE. They should be throwing on every play and those WR sweeps are ok too. Lev Bell is not very good anymore. If CEH comes back they can run again.
  14. No doubt. no one is denying that it worked out perfectly. after our 1 third Qtr possession (TD), Baltimore was about to make it 10-6 or 10-10 and have the wind in their favor for the 4th. It could’ve been the difference in the game but Taron Johnson changed the game entirely with one play.
  15. I agree he made the correct call last night. Obviously. We Won. Been watching Bills for nearly 50 years. I still contend that in all wind games at Orchard Park (from the west like last night), the points are overwhelmingly in favor of the wind at your back. it’s probably like 2:1. So since we deferred, I would’ve kicked off into the wind so Buffalo could have it at their backs for Q2, knowing Baltimore would take it for Q4. But obviously in this specific game, McD’s strategy worked out. Thankfully
  16. Someone has to get that sign dusted off from the mid-90's... "We're Back!!!! Deal with it America"
  17. Let me start by saying I'm thrilled with the win.. I couldn't even sleep last night. Just an unreal season and it's still going. One thing that bothered me. and this is the 2nd time under McDermott in a high wind game (happened vs. Philly last year i believe). Even though we WON the coin toss we somehow allowed our opponent to have the wind at their backs in the 2nd and 4th quarters. Can someone explain how that happened? That can't be allowed to happen. The 2nd and 4th are the two most important quarters because they are more drawn out. There are timeouts, 2-minute warning, etc.. Teams usually go up tempo before the end of halves and there are more plays. There are usually last second FG attempts at the end of 2nd Qtr and end of games. The 1st and 3rd quarters are usually fast and end quickly. We basically had one possession in the 3rd quarter with the wind and scored a TD with it.. Fortunately Taron Johnson gave us a second TD in that Qtr. If it was a close game, Baltimore would have had the wind and better chance to kick a game winning FG at the buzzer. I need to understand why McD has allowed this to happen in such a big game.
  18. Dud of a game nationally, but beautiful for us!!!
  19. I think the Browns win, but i would rather play KC there. For some reason i feel the offense is more explosive in road games this year and i have no stats at my fingertips to back that up. Just a feeling.
  20. Now don’t let them get down the field like the Colts did in 5 plays or whatever
  21. Ravens winning physically and will burn us with one possession WITH the wind . just awful
  22. we gonna end up with like 1 possession with the wind. what a fail.
  23. how many tackles is Poyer gonna bounce off tonight? he sucks
