  1. The Pats are coming for Buffalo...but the Browns, Ravens are coming for the SuperBowl. Teams that can run the ball are going to be successful in Jan/Feb. I'd say Tennessee too but that Henry injury hurts. They have a tough, physical Oline so they might still be able to run the ball effectively enough.
  2. You have to have a feel for the game. McD is still learning on the job. There's a reason teams kick FG's on 4th down most of the time and don't go for it. It's a time tested successful NFL strategy. Get points. There aren't that many possessions in an NFL game. Get the 3 when it's there unless you absolutely must have 6+ points in crunch time. Admittedly I'm old school and conservative when it comes to NFL games.
  3. I had us down for 11 wins this year. A slight regression from last season, but i figured they would still win the AFC East. It's all still on the table. The SuperBowl winning recipe is to be playing your best football in the final 6-7 weeks and into the playoffs. So right now, the Bills are suffering through adversity. Hopefully they pull out of it. But yes, now they are in a dogfight to win the division and even get in.
  4. Tennessee’s Oline is built for running. They are a physical smash mouth unit. Bills Oline are finesse and scheme. They are coached that way i’m sure
  5. Titans are the class of the AFC right now. pulling all the right strings. making their 4th down conversions it seems every week. D making big plays. But who knows, you don’t want to be peaking in early Nov. You want to be playing the best ball in late Nov-Dec-Jan
  6. The Bills by themselves today had more penalties (12) than the total in 5 other NFL games. And they were tied in a 6th game. Just so much ticky tack stuff is called on the Bills it seems. Whatever, can’t blame refs for the loss but it’s brutal to watch all those flags.
  7. The glass half full thing is that you want to be playing the best football the final 6-7 weeks and into playoffs. So they are struggling now and facing adversity. But the goals are still there and in play. Better to get slapped back to reality now. There was zero intensity today and they were totally out-physical’d by the Jags. That might be the slap they needed.
  8. That Gabe Davis play. Yea. , and i knew we were jinxed when all the national pregame shows put up Josh Allen’s ridiculously productive 2021 road stats. They were gushing. and i thought to myself well, he’s due for a regression, a stinker. and the whole offense stunk.
  9. I spent some bucks on a last minute trip to Nashville a couple weeks ago. Still really enjoyed it, and it was an epic game (unlike today). i assumed we had a slew of Wins upcoming so i didn’t sweat the loss too much. Now i’m not so sure. And yeah, playing in front of tons of Bills fans really does nothing for this club.
  10. It’s funny, been watching Red Zone and my local game late this afternoon for a while and not seeing many flags at all. it’s like every other play in a Bills game is flagged,, but these other games are not so ticky tack. frustrating.
  11. I said the same thing today. The gut wrenching losses give me more pain than the wins give me joy. So not sure how to deal with that going forward. It’s especially tough when the club has Super Bowl potential (or at least we think they did).
  12. My biggest beef is the same ol thing from last year. no running game other than Josh. Zero chance they win in the playoffs with no rushing game to speak of.
  13. Just too many fans and media don’t respect opponents in the NFL. it’s an any given Sunday league and has been forever
  14. I love when they get all hyped up and crazy and a few minutes in Miami starts moving the ball on 'em. Then a little bit of frustration sets in "C'mon fellas!" Make a play!
  15. Anyone else worried about the curse of Manningcast? Saw that somewhere online today. The active players who have appeared have lost their next games.
  16. Peterman. Nice guy. Best known for making Sean McDermott the laughingstock of the NFL for a bit. I’m sure Sean cringes at that period in his life.
  17. I thought it was interesting in post-game when Bass said his maximum distance in that direction was 59 yards,, (with wind?) and the other direction was 57 yards. Now i find that amazing since the 57 yard direction would have been against the wind, no? Maybe it was a pure cross wind on Sunday, I couldn't tell. But the dude has some ridiculous range. And he's young. The leg still might get stronger.
  18. Miami has to feel somewhat like Buffalo did all those years trying to beat the Pats and Brady. How do they beat Josh Allen? It has to be frustrating as hell for their fans too. But I love it.
  19. Oh my, Miami could steal this game right at the end. And we are the worst at defending 2 point conversions
  20. It’s good to have respect for the opponent. it’s NFL football, not Georgia vs. Norfolk St. I think the Bills win, but i also think Miami comes to play. Like the OP said, they have to be sick of hearing how much JA owns them and how much they suck. Miami actually has some talent, they have underachieved massively so far.
  21. My takeaway, at the end both teams went for the knockout punch. Green Bay went for 4th and goal to put the game out of reach and Failed. Arizona, in chip shot FG range threw the ball. INT, Fail. Buffalo went for it late at Tenn. Fail. I'm just too much of an old school guy. Sometimes take the FG and allow your entire team to win a game, instead of one play. Defenses really dig in on these all or nothing plays. I don't care what the analytics say, it's not always the best call to take the risky play.
  22. The Mannings are back a week too late.
  23. Even when the Bills stunk and the Patriots were dominant all those years we still gave them a decent game every once in a while. I feel like Miami is going to really dig in for this one. There's only so many times that the Fish and Brian Flores care to be embarrassed by Buffalo. I hope the Bills coming out of the bye week aren't complacent. It's the NFL and i think Miami will be tough this Sunday.
  24. Very solid win by the Colts... especially being a dome team in weather. Indy was not going to allow another 4th Qtr meltdown like they did vs. Baltimore. They took control in the 4th.
  25. Yeah, probably. But he didn’t convert and Bills lost head to head. And then Tenn comes out and kills KC worse than we did. So for tonight, Tennessee gets ranked ahead of Buf.
