  1. Diggs is so concerned with getting calls he’s forgetting how to go after the ball.
  2. Allen messed up his knee or knees on that last run. He’s not close to 100%
  3. Im perplexed by that play. The ball was perfectly thrown. How does he not see that ? coulda been a TD
  4. I’m starting to think that not only was the bills loss to Jacksonville their worst loss ever. But I think it was the worst loss in NFL history. Inexplicable.
  5. Well, when you drop a game you’re not supposed to lose, like Jax…the team has to win a game they’re not supposed to win to make up for it. Like Tampa. So here we go.
  6. How about That grace period given by refs when play clock hit zero for Big Ben.
  7. I think i was at the Bills last visit in Tampa. Can’t remember a more recent one? It was EJ Manuel against Mike Glennon and Glennon’s team won. Slightly better QB’s this time around.
  8. I’ll buy the theory presented by the OP here. And maybe that’s why McDermott is acting out of character after this game. Maybe he sees it too and is trying to lead by example in his actions.
  9. Finally we play a team where the game plan can call for 50 passes and it should be OK. The Bucs secondary has been really banged up all season. They struggle defending the pass. But they stuff the run so why even bother. Just unleash Allen in this one.
  10. We’ve played 3 rookie QB’s and lost to 2 of them. That’s disgraceful for a team with SB aspirations. Yes the offense was a disappointment in games vs Trevor Lawrence and Mac Jones. But it’s a team game and we LOST. I don’t think i can get past losing to Trevor…and Mac never even had to throw. This season the lows are way worse than the good feeling after the highs.
  11. The Eagles came here on a terrible weather day a couple years ago and Wentz had no issues and led them to an easy win. Let's face it. The poor weather games are bad for this version of the Bills, unless it's a cupcake team like Houston. The bad weather in Orchard Park is ruining our season.
  12. It's a shame the D got burned for long TD runs in two MNF games this season. Both runs set the tone for what would turn into losses. But really, those two runs happened early enough in the Tenn and NE games and the D did a decent job against the RB's before and after those runs. But you can't just deduct the long TD's from their report card. It's inexcusable. I put the game last night more on the offense than the D. 4 trips to the red zone and 10 points? Two of those trips late, with the game on the line and zero points?!? stinks.
  13. Pretty much every national sports show had a segment about this Sullivan/Poyer/Hyde exchange from last night. The conclusion is universal. Sullivan's question was poor. It's bush league to use trigger words... He could've used "Disappointed" or "Frustrated" and he would not have lost the guys within 2 seconds. He wanted to "win" the press conference and knew he'd trigger the players asking that.
  14. To answer the OP question, Yes- I am concerned. Getting into the red zone against the wind twice late means nothing to me. I expected them to get into the red zone. Should have scored TD's or at least one. It was yet another failure in a close game (which we've become lousy at winning any of them). I blame the offense more for this loss.
  15. These types of runs in the red zone seem to happen so often for Buffalo. It's maddening. Always puts us in 2nd and long or 3rd and long and just turns the Bills into a one-dimensional, easy team to stop.
  16. This is one of those "Be careful what you wish for" threads. Do Not fire Sean McDermott. Do not run him outta town. Is he perfect? no. Is anyone perfect? He has created the culture in Buffalo that has turned around the entire franchise. He's a good coach that players respect. Will McD have to fire some assistants? Probably, eventually. Will he have to convene with Brandon Beane in the offseason to figure out a proper vision forward for this football team? Yes, absolutely. But it's dumb to suggest firing him and another club would hire him in a nanosecond.
  17. Even Skip and Shannon showed that exchange this morning and they are debating it.
  18. I'm still stunned that the Bills got deep into the red zone twice late 4th Qtr and got zippy points. I mean the Pats D is really tough but that's brutal and I imagine most good NFL teams would have found a way to win the game in that scenario.
  19. A friend called me from the West coast after the game. He's an NFL fan but not a Bills fan. He said watching the game was brutal and the NFL should postpone games in conditions like that. Said it takes all the athletes and skill out of the game and no team should run 45 times and pass 3. I didn't love the game of course, but disagreed with his opinion.
  20. I dunno. Arians throws players under the bus every week and they won a Super bowl. Maybe Isaiah gets another shot at redemption this week

    Coin Flip?

McD more than anyone should know how to manipulate the situation if winning the toss to get the wind advantage in the 4th Qtr and failed. It's amazing with the number of wind games we have that they still haven't mastered it. Once again, in a wind game we had the wind at our backs for the 1st ad 3rd Qtrs,,which are the two shortest Qtrs in an NFL game. You want the wind for the 2nd and 4th Qtrs, both if possible. They are the two longest Qtrs and everyone uses their timeouts. It's a disgrace that McD didn't figure this out by now.
  22. For once i thought the refs were fine for the most part and even gave the Bills a nice 15-yarder that i thought was a gift. They were not flagging ticky tack stuff like some crews do. But of course on a night we get the better ref treatment we still lose. Ugh.
  23. Totally disappointing but i thought we’d split with the Pats this season. Now we just need to do it the hard way.
  24. The next game BB might dial up 40+ passes. you just never know with that guy
  25. Not talking about the weather so much…but when good opposition comes to Buffalo they get really juiced up to silence “The Mafia”. Bills had a great homefield last season when there was no juice in the building. Good teams love playing here now with the fans back.
