I'm an Ithaca grad, so it's pretty cool seeing our Cortaca Jug rival make the Stagg Bowl. Kind of shocking actually to see them blow out Randolph Macon in the Semi's. As mentioned the last NY State team to win was Ithaca in 1991 (and '88, '79). Since the late 90's all through the 2000's, Division 3 football has been totally dominated by Midwest teams and I think a Texas team won it too. Ithaca wins their share of games with Cortland so it makes me think IC can get back to the top of the mountain too. We had a freshman QB and he just fizzled at the end. Anyway, Go Cortland, bring it back to NY State.

As we always say, in the NFL there are always games where it's not about who you play, it's when you play them. The Dolphins will be playing the Jets at a bad time.. The Bills will be playing the Chargers at a beneficial time.

Like Dobbs, i feel like these upstart QBs that have been massively overachieving (Flacco, Browning, Stroud, Minshew) are going to start regressing to what they should be. Stroud already had a setback last week, we’ve already seen Trubisky struggle mightily. I only put Stroud in that group because he’s a rookie. He looks like a very solid QB as his career progresses.

I thought Washington too, but there’s also chatter down this way that he already has a handshake deal w Carolina. That would seem like a weird pairing.

A couple weeks ago i thought we would beat Philly, lose to KC, beat Dallas. Wrong, wrong, ???. But one thing for sure, it’s definitely not over if they lose to Dallas. It hurts but it’s not over.

It’s such a strange final 4 games for those clubs because they both play NE, Raiders and Chargers. The difference is Denver has the harder road game @ Detroit and KC gets the Bengals at home. While i think Jake Browning is playing over his head right now i just cannot see KC losing a 4th game at Arrowhead this season, can you?

I’m assuming KC will still hang on to win the AFC West. Gonna need them to get right at month end to dispose of Cincinnati on 12/31. Rooting hard for Detroit over Denver this weekend too, among other games. Bills obviously need to take care of their business.

People always talk about “Billsy” losses but it was great this weekend to be on the other end. KC loses out on an amazing play because of the most bonehead of penalties and Miami blows what was a 0 for 767 game lead. Hopefully this whole season is flipping around in a positive direction starting with that Chiefs game.
