  1. I've always agreed that the two most important stats in the NFL to determine victory are turnover ratio and 3rd down conversions. Whichever team is better at both usually wins, especially turnovers. But fumbles and INTs are kind of lucky. They could cause 12 turnovers over the final eight games or 2. It's completely random in my opinion.
  2. I'm always chatting with friends who are fans of other teams and they constantly tell me, "The Bills will be fine, they will destroy the Jags, Giants, Pats, Bucs, Broncos, etc.." Whatever team we're playing that week. I don't know what they're seeing? But now it comes down to this. I think we can all agree that if they lose to Denver, it's over. We can pack it in for the season and not have to stress anymore about it.
  3. As I've said in other threads about Josh, and I'll just be blunt. He's not that good of a pocket passer, especially when he has to move off his first read. If his first read is covered or if he doesn't trust it...he should immediately step up and run...or roll out and throw on the run. That's when he's at his best.
  4. Everybody complains about the OC (including me), but it's always a combination of things and some players + some units are not executing at a high level...not even a medium level.
  5. Ah that's great. Let's pack it in for this season and start thinking about the draft, and next year's schedule.
  6. The Bulls are terrible this season. I think they are even worse than their record indicates. Big changes need to be made.
  7. His deep passes this year suck. So many are low frozen ropes, no trajectory, no touch. DB's can break those up without even turning around. In prior seasons he was getting really good at throwing deep passes with touch, accurately, while getting some air under them and allowing receivers to run under. That is gone.
  8. The Allen stats are a bit misleading for sure. Is he the reason they win games? of course. But in these losses his play, especially first half is very frustrating. Drives are stalling out on 3rd downs because he's careless and chucking the ball needlessly downfield into coverage, when the defenses are GIVING him the short routes. Take what they are giving you and keep drives alive.
  9. If the Bills miss the playoffs,,,and it would likely be by 1 game or maybe because of AFC loss tiebreakers, you can point to that game. If McD gets relieved of his duties that would be the inexplicable loss that cost him dearly. They didn't play complimentary football.
  10. Personally I don't buy it. I don't believe Kraft would fire the man who got him six Championships in mid-season. But the Patriots are playing the defensively challenged and banged up Colts in London. A New England loss means they've dropped 6 of 7 games and they are playing dreadful football compared to their standard.
  11. We can’t have Brady but we do have his running back from that team. So Let’s go!
  12. Yeah that Kincaid fumble killed the comeback or i think the Bills would’ve had a great chance to win. Kid needs to stop going airborne. He’s done it several times already to get extra yards. What i did like in the Bengals game….i did not feel like the Bills were out physicaled. They dished out some punishment. They were out schemed a bit but the physicality was there on D.
  13. He took off a couple times against Cincinnati and on those particular runs i thought he looked fast. What i don’t like is the spaced out look on his face on the sidelines. Thats different from previous years.
  14. Always in the back of my mind,…. on Thanksgiving weekend 2020, the Bucs lost to KC at home to fall to 7-5. Then Tampa had a bye in week 13 (same as Buffalo this year). They came out of the bye and won 8 in a row to win the Super Bowl. Easy peasey right?!?
  15. My dad just can’t watch the games this season. He’s older now and they are getting him too annoyed and angry. It’s not healthy for him as he says. Kinda sad actually. I enjoyed coming home and watching a game with him now and then.
  16. Just before the Bills game Sunday I saw that Cincinnati was +1600 to win the Super Bowl. I put a few bucks on that. I hate it but kinda feel like the Bengals may win it all. Today it’s down to +1000. Now the Bills are +1600. I have some money on them too but that was made a few weeks ago.
  17. In a similar spot, home, prime time, they hung on for dear life against the NY Giants. They were a half yard away from losing. Denver is nothing special but they are light years better than the Giants. So buckle up.
  18. The fact is, while this particular offense is stuck in the mud, for a myriad of reasons. Mcdermott has presided over one of the most prolific NFL offenses for a few years prior. The Bills point differential compared to the rest of the league was out of sight prior to this year. So at the end of the day, i do not think Pegula and Beane will fire him. they will find a new offensive coordinator
  19. My bigger problem with Josh lately (other than his turnover's), is his lack of touch on intermediate/deep throws. When the Bills were high flying over the past few seasons he really improved his touch on the ball. Lately the trajectory on sideline throws is too low,,,,making it too easy for DB's to break them up or get an INT. Several passes have been on a rope when a little touch and arc would be more successful and give our guy a chance to make a play. To me that's a sign of some lost confidence on his deeper passing.
  20. As Tony Dungy used to always say, You need to play your best football in Nov/Dec. So they better get their act together against Denver and go from there.

    Matt Araiza

Martin stunk the other night, but he is pretty darn good at those pooch punts inside the 10. That's probably more valuable than punt god 65 yarders with 20 yard returns.
  22. I agree they should go up Tempo more and build in it to the game plan. But people need to realize it won't always work, and there will be some very fast 3 and outs. When that happens, it won't be good on the D. The Book has been written on how to stop the Bills offense. Clearly teams are not willing to give up the big play to Allen/Diggs/Gabe. D-Coordinators are saying, OK lets see if you Buffalo Bills can nickel and dime your way down the field with your impatient QB and crappy running game. Because at some point during an 8-10 play drive, they bank on Allen throwing an INT, or the offense fumbling, taking a sack, taking a bad penalty, tipped pass, not converting a 3rd down, etc.. Kind of the same philosophy our defense uses.
  23. I agree, but the narrative in my head is that Miami is going to lose some games that we assume they're going to win. They are due. And Buffalo will win a couple games we think they're going to lose. We are due.
  24. Have no fear, all 4 AFC East teams lost. Division is still there for the taking.
  25. all 4 AFC East teams lost this week. Nice
