  1. You sir are a classy act. Thanks for coming over here posting congratulations, we have suffered for quite some time and we all feel good for once. This win was sorely needed and I feel for you and the Bears, nobody likes to lose but I'm a big Cutler fan and I love your offense and think that you guys will win more than your share. Good luck on the rest of the way to you and the Bears.
  2. I sure hope that this doesn't become a problem come Week 4. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/
  3. Hahahahahaha, I'm feeling pretty good over yesterday's big win over the Bears but not THAT good!
  4. Oh boy, I hope that doesn't lead Irsay to another suspension and fine!
  5. Well, no offense taken, you made valid points. I shouldn't have gotten so animated but this guy, this guy just doesn't quit and it's getting repetitive. I get it, he doesn't like Fred, state it and move on, he's deliberately ruining threads just to get things fired up for his own amusement. It's bad enough with what he says but it gets worse when other posters are littering up a thread responding to his junk.
  6. It's great to see a couple of hometown boys contributing to turning this franchise around. Who would care more about this franchise than a couple of players that as young lads were Bills' fans, playing in front of their families, friends and community. What a great storyline this will be if the Bills find success. Go Bills!
  7. Oops, then ban me.
  8. Thank you! Enough is enough! I don't even read his bs, I skip right over it because I know what he is and what he is trying to do and I won't feed into that crap. With that being said I must also mention that I'm a little disappointed in some of you, especially some of you veterans. This guy continuously tries to undermine threads and you allow it by responding to his bs, especially when it comes to Freddy. Ok, you don't like Fred, we get it. He's a big Tampa fan, why doesn't he just go wrap his arms around Doug Martin, or should I say around the Muscle Hamster's leg??! Better yet, maybe he should start rooting for Bobby Rainey. He purposely descegrates the meaning of what this whole fraternity is meant for. I'm all for everyone having their own opinions but that's not the case with this jerk off. Mods, you normally do a pretty good job of monitoring this board but why has this guy been allowed continuously to do this??! He's ruining a perfectly feel good thread that we all have been long overdue and deservingly need and he's pissing all over it and some of you are contributing to his ****. Now once and for all, BAN THIS !@#$ING IDIOT!!!
  9. As far as EJ's speech goes it sure sounds like leadership qualities to me. Whatever happens this season, good or bad, I can respect our team and players if they don't alibi, they take responsibility for their actions and own it.
  10. Lol, you're right. I sure screwed that up but you got the idea.
  11. I see it differently. There's no need to gloat, just grateful that not only did our team win on the road, in a city that we never have won in, and against some tremendous odds but more importantly they didn't give up, they didn't quit and they didn't collapse. They stood their ground, even after falling behind so quickly. Our team has heart and for that I'm thrilled to pieces! I don't know who or what was the difference today, if it was Marone changing our culture or EJ's inspirational speech or whatever. All I know is that our team fought for 4 full quarters and persevered! I don't wish the Bears or their fans any illl will, Lord knows that we have been on the wrong end of a score WAY too much but I sure am enjoying this victory and for first time in a long time I can go to work tomorrow and not get tortured! Go Bills!
  12. FJax, you made a lot of people look at our team in a different way today and I thank you for that! Anyone that just wants to look at Fred's stats is missing the big picture, the guy is ALL heart! I love my Bills but I love them a little more today! Next up, time to rock The Ralph! Go Bills!
  13. Now I understand a little bit more why Fred was re-signed, he bleeds blue.
  14. Fantastic! Now THAT'S the way to kick off a season! Go Bills! #KellyTough
  15. Just something that I was wondering, where does he rate among Bills' players, past or present? All I know is that whenever I see him play or hear him talk I feel good. That's especially needed since we haven't had too much success during his playing days here. One gets the feeling with Fred is that we're all in this together, that he's one of us. I've seen how wildly popular he is among the fan base, I can't remember ever hearing anyone criticize him, not even all the coaches that he has been through. Even past players like Marshawn Lynch likes and thinks highly of him as FJax has stayed loyal to us. I even think that after his playing days are done that there's a good chance that he stays in the community. I have appreciated him and am glad that he plays for us, he's a throwback kind of player. Not bad for someone who wasn't suppose to be here.
  16. Lol! Although the fights on Springer aren't what they use to be.
  17. I'd much rather that we get Brad Sworenson, Ssn Diego cut him today.
  18. Omg, that is so freaking funny! Lol! I'm going through all these responses looking for the guy watching porn, I'm still crying laughing over that one! Finally the Bills are providing some entertainment.......inadvertedly .
  19. Remember when Ralph passed the torch to Russ and the pledge made at that time? Here's the article. http://buffalorising.com/2013/01/bills-changes-chan-gailey-out-russ-brandon-promoted-to-ceo/ These 2 quotes stick out the most to me. "I can promise you we will be a forward thinking, aggressive, attacking organization heading into the future.” And this one, "world-class people to bring into this organization. But, most importantly, I will empower people to do their jobs.” I believe that Whaley, supported by Brandon, are not too impressed with the on field product, especially with Hackett's offense. Marrone was empowered and he was the one who chose Hackett, hence making him accountable. Keep in mind that this is a young, aggressive administration, fueled even more by having their jobs on the line, and the end product doesn't at this time, inspire the most confidence and is coupled with insubordination. It doesn't appear that Marrone & Crew have this totally under control and I can understand why Whaley, and even Brandon, would have some concerns if this is the case.
  20. Great point, I fear the same. Although I thought Nigel looked outstanding, he's going to be a great one. I can't wait to see him and Kiko pair up next year!
  21. A couple of other things. It sure didn't look like Marone has lost the team and I was quite pleasantly surprised by Hughs' play and his motor, the guy was balling!
  22. I just deleted a wise ass post I made before I watched any of the game. I just got done watching the 1st quarter and I'm not that uptight about it like I thought that I was going to be. Quickly this is what I got out of it. 1. For God sakes, change the cleats or something! Too many players slipping and falling. 2. EJ is a young QB. I didn't expect a Joe Montana here and I'm not upset with his 1st quarter at all. I agree with Big Blitz, I saw 3 bad passes out of him, the third one being when he missed Fred out of the backfield on the second possession. 3. On the TD plunge I remember Kiko last year made one hell of a stop to prevent one. I wonder if he was in there if Martin would have made it. 4. I thought Spikes had a couple of plays where it was kind of all or nothing. The one where martin ran up the middle for a few yards the OL made a great block on Spikes. 5. Gilmore made a nice stop on Martin but didn't wrap up so Spikes an a DL? had to finish the play. Chandler and Spiller didn't help EJ's cause. A young QB needs to have some confidence built, not have more pressure right off the bat from other's miscues. 6. On the pass to Woods that was incomplete we were fortunate that that wasn't another pick. Thankfully Baron fell down and it was just another wasted play. I won't fault manuel either, he had a LB come right up the middle and was in his face. I guess what I'm saying based on what I just saw in the 1st quarter is that EJ ddn't really play bad and we just had more than needed of miscues, penalties and some sloppy tackling. I'm ready to watch the 2nd quarter and I'm sure this ain't gonna be too pretty but that's because we really did shoot ourselves in the foot in that 1st quarter.
  23. hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
  24. Here's my take on the whole thing. Looking at it from Marrone's point of view, this seems to be unraveling due to what some earlier posters stated. First, this OC is weak and it's showing up on the field. I don't know if EJ is the answer but we sure didn't provide ourselves with any options or security nets. Like someone alluded to earlier, Schwartz seems to coach dirty football and no self control and an !@#$ like Hughs needs to be put in check. Regardless if we like it or not but if I were Marrone I would facilitate a trade for Hugh's ASAP, cut Bryan Johnson and demand Schwartz to start cleaning up the attitudes. Isn't Hughs the other culprit in Dareus' drag racing fiasco? The guy is becoming more and more of a cancer and now I would be afraid that it's starting to spread into the lockerroom. This is Hugh's last year in Buffalo, get something for him now before we just let him walk for free. I'm only saying all this to save some unity. We are not going to replace any of our coaches now in this season. The best thing at this point is to do some damage control and try and salvage this team by some subtractions, descipline and restore order before it's all too late, if it isn't already.
  25. I like it! It's about time that we got some fire. Year in year out we're nothing but a bunch of nice guys and look where it got us. I like the attitude of guys like Brandon Spikes, this isn't a popularity contest. It's long overdue that we start punching people in the mouth, even if it's our own guy. Hey that's just me but I also thought that the likes of Dick Butkus and Conrad Dobler were intimidating players.
