Bills to trade Kiko Alonso for LeSean McCoy
Tipster19 replied to CNY315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can list a lot but Ai'll try to give some quick answers. 1. Not confident in re-signing Hughes. 2. Other available RBs in free agency (Ingram for one) that are more than serviceable for just money compensation. 3. Helping Philly out of a big cap hit, they have been trying to unload McCoy for awhile now. 4. RBs have been a devalued position now for quite some time, not the biggest need at this time for us. 5. While McCoy is a top RB he has quite some miles on him, window of availability is shorter than longer and is more susceptable to injury at his age. 6. A big part of Bradham's resurgence is DIRECTLY connected to Kiko, Alonso reinvigorated Bradham, so much so to the point that Bradham called Alonso his brother. 7. Our best years were because we had great LBs. How many great RBs has this franchise have just let come and go??! 8. The Bills sure have made this a 'business'! I hope that they are prepared to spend some of that fukking money on some quality FAs, they better not just stop here! 9. Because the Bills sure know how to break my fukking balls! -
Bills to trade Kiko Alonso for LeSean McCoy

You got to be !@#$ing kidding me!!! That is a complete !@#$ing bs! This Rex Ryan better have the !@#$ing defense of all time or I'm done with his stapled stomach fat @$$! -
With the late and limited draft picks that the Bills have, I'd like to see them become highly active in free agency. The QB position can't be reasonably resolved in the draft, trade scenarios and in free agency imo so I'd like to see the Bills trim the fat of the current roster and replace and fortify the team with quality players. Replace the Gs, shore up the RBs, add TEs that not only block but move the chains as well, realign the OL and add any that OLmen that can reinforce our T and C positions and acquire not 1 but 2 QBs by either as a FA (Sanchez and Moore?) and/or by trade (Cutler?). It doesn't look like Spiller will be here much longer so I'd really like for the Bills to replace him with Ingram and go to a really power running game. Now that Incognito is here I believe now is some toughness to this OL. I'd like to the Bills to continue on this path and add a mauler like Iupati. I'd very much like to see the Bills get 1 of the bigger name TEs (Thomas and Clay) out there to help take the sting out a bit from having such a weak draft positioning. Well Thomas is a dream I believe Clay is realistic. Our front office really needs to step up on our contracts and get creative, not only with Clay's but with Ingram's and Iupati's as well. I do want to mention 1 thing about Cutler and his contract. The Bills are in quite a quandry. They aren't sure what they really have in EJ, there's not a lot out there in free agency to choose from and they don't have a 1st rd pick. They need to pay for a starting QB and thankfully they can. Say what you want about Cutler but he said a starting QB in this league and not just in name only. The time is now to really step up and it needs to be a collected effort, from our owners to our GM, to our front office right down to our coach. The time is NOW!

Spiller: EJ may have been too "buddy-buddy" with players
Tipster19 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
These kids need some swag. That was always one of the first things that was said about Jimbo back in the day. Either you got it or you don't and if you don't then you better get it because it looks like that's what needed. -
Trade Bryce Brown & make a run for FA Mark Ingram.

I hope you're right, it makes it even more desirable to get this guy. I guess that I was too generous with Kim and Terry's money! -

I always suspected that. EJ needs to grow a sac if he wants to make it in the NFL. -

If we don't re-sign Spiller, and nothing so far tells me that we are, then I don't want the Bills using a draft pick on a RB, we're already down on a pick. I'd rather see the Bills spend money than a valuable draft pick for a RB. Besides Ingram is young AND experienced in the NFL. It would be a great way to replace a 1st rd RB with another 1st rder, instead of just letting another RB walk away for nothing, which we have been doing so traditionally. If we kept Brown then I would like to see him as a insurance policy/change of pace/3rd down RB type of role. I don't think Ingram would cost as much as everyone fears (5-6 M?). Sh!t, we're willing to pay that for washed out back up QBs that don't even want to play here! I would think that this would be a more attractive situation to Ingram than the Saints, Fred being close to done, Rex's ground-n-pound philosophy etc etc. Don't forget that the Saints are a bit cash strapped and structuring a more lucrative contract should be easier for us than for them. Keep in mind that SOMEBODY is going to sign him, why can't it be us??!!! Lord knows we have the need. -
Any chance of signing Julius Thomas?

I think so! -
Shaun Hill: Polian would take a hard look
Tipster19 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I noticed in the article that Polian wasn't too harsh or against trading for Cutler. It seemed that he doesn't think that it's economically wise. I was kind of expecting him to be more critical of Cutler based on performance but that didn't seem to be the case. Interesting..... -
Who are we kidding, with the likes of Orton and McCown.
Tipster19 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe we didn't sign Hughes for a reason. Could the Bills be waiting until they can tag him and parlay him in a package for a quality QB like Brees? -

If a good trade weren't to happen than I would agree with this thinking. No need to panick or force a square through a circle. Bide our time and make the right move at the right time. -
Our QB situation is a mess. I like EJ and want him to be 'the guy' but the key word there is want, I don't have much faith in him being a starting QB but hopefully I'm wrong. I did want us to sign McCown, only in light of our situation for a QB. I believe that he's a quality person/teammate and would be ample enough being paired with a dominate defense and a ground-n-pound offense. Oh well, how we lost out to Cleveland of all teams is a real head scratcher. As far as Orton goes I was never a player for this clown. I seen enough of him over in Denver. Where do we go from here? Bradford and Locker are brittle, I would begrudgingly hitch my wagon to them if they were obtained but with bated breath. Sancheze, I can't believe that I'm even considering this guy but I must say that after last year I did see some things in him that I didn't think we're possible but the thing with this guy is that you'll always be waiting for the only shoe to drop with him. Foles? I don't even know if he's a possibility and truthfully, I don't know enough of him to really form a good opinion. So where does this leave us? Really. Can anyone give a good, wholehearted endorsement of any candidate out there because I can't. I think that our best bet is to just fortify our defense and OL, add and upgrade our RBs, find multiple TEs to compliment our current WRs for a safer passing offense so we can minimize the QB position and get ourselves in a better position for a quality QB in the future. I believe that the only other way for us to really improve our QB situation is to make a big time trade for one. I don't even know if this is even possible, who it could be and what it would take but that is the only other way that would give me any kind belief. I think that if this were the case the only 2 that would fit this would either be Brees or a distant second in Cutler and with Cutler there is considerable amount of baggage but the guy does have a big time arm and has plenty of starter experience. The one thing I will say about a potential Cutler trade would be that he should be able to be obtained for quite a reasonable price, which is something that we would be able to afford, considering our available draft picks and such.

RUMOR: EJ Manuel Likely To Be Cut
Tipster19 replied to negativo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I cll BS on this guy. No way they are cutting EJ, it would be retarded to do so. How could anyone know exactly what EJ is capable of, he was never given a fair opportunity, with all the changes and such that we have had and this is coming from someone who is not a big EJ fan. -
I can understand why people aren't excited about signing McCown but keep 2 things in mind, the first is we don't have a lot of options and our QB situation blows. The second thing do people how many different OCs this guy has had? His career with teams and/or OCs rivals Alex Smith's. We don't need a superstar, just a good game manager and I believe that ZmcCown has the potential to be that if EJ can't be the starter. Furthermore the guy has legs and that in itself is a very attractive attribute for this type of offense that we'll be employing.

Report: Falcons release Steven Jackson
Tipster19 replied to Uffalo Ills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Other than the money this would be a great signing for the Bills. The guy is a physical specimen. Google him and pull up images, your jaw will drop. Big, strong RB who can catch out of the backfield. Why wouldn't you want him? He's a proven veteran and then some. In a Rex Ryan offense this would be his Chris Ivory. I'm not a player for Bryce Brown, never have been, never will be. We need to re-sign Spiller and if not get someone like him, like Reggie Bush. Delegate Dixon to STs/short yardage and utilize the Jackson tandem. The more veterans on offense the better, it would definitely make it more secure for EJ if he were to be the starter. Sign a couple more seasoned veterans for the OL and let this defense rip. What we are building is not sexy but it sure be efficient. If people are hoping or expecting a splashy, electric offense then they are going to be sadly disappointed. With that being said expect our offense to be like the Parcels' '89 Giants, loaded with veterans, a ground-n-pound offense with a couple of big, game breaking plays that is anchored by an awesome defense. This works for me. -
They are all deeply and firmly committed to this community, franchise/organization and the fanbase. The first 4 (Kim, Terry, Brandon and Whaley) have shown and proven this already and I add Rex, even though he's a newcomer, because he was in demand and still chose Buffal before fielding all his opportunities. I believe, and this might be the Kool-Aid talking, that they are all on the same page and are truly One Buffalo. In hindsight we haven't had complete quality competent personnel before, and although the Pegulas are new to the NFL they have been impressive so far in their early decision making. Before Brandon starts getting bashed here let me go on record as saying that I like him.....a lot! I can agree that he has been over his head a bit at times and IMO was miscast but there is no denying that he's a VERY loyal soldier and has been as dedicated and committed to this organization/franchise/community/fanbase/region every bit as anyone that has been associated with this franchise and that includes Ralph. I truly believe that are all in complete unison on the direction of this franchise and team and that is important, especially Whaley and Ryan. For all of them to be singing out of the same hymn book and having the vision with total clarity is refreshing. I don't know what the immediate success looks like for us butvI'm quite comfortable and confident in our overall foreseeable future and that is a nice feeling! So I guess what I'm getting at is it's time to relax and enjoy, our future is bright and we're gonna be alright. Go Bills!

What went wrong with Doug Marrone's Jet's Interview?
Tipster19 replied to Vinaccia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's real simple, once they actually talked to him they realized that he's an @$$hole. -
Combine Buffalo's passionate fanbase with Rex plus the monsters that we have on defense and Orchard Park is not a place where too many will want to come and play in. They should rename Orchard Park to Jurassic Park because I have a feeling that under Rex we're going to be eating some teams alive! I saw Nat Geo last night and they said the most dangerous animal in the world is a play-offless cornered Buffalosaurus! http://www.26shirts.com/buffalosaurus-rex.html Go Bills!
