Boobie Dixon has calf injury - out for 1 month
Tipster19 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not a Bryce Brown fan but he does offer more than Dixon IMO. I agree that Williams makes Dixon even more expendable because of his ST play, besides Dixon was a FA while we actually traded for Brown. Unless we could trade Brown I would think that just cutting him would take a little shine off of Whaley, nobody likes to admit that they made a mistake. Add in the contracts and if there is any truth to Dixon being considerably more expensive than Brown than I would suspect that it's bye bye Boobie. Also, didn't Roman let Dixon just walk while they were in San Fran? I wonder about that as well, what's up with that?? -
Could not agree more than this statement here, great observation! As much as I love our defense and the players on it, A. Williams, K. Williams, Hughes, Dareus, P. Brown and others but it's Bradham that thrills me the most. The guy is an absolute beast and his intensity is second to none. The way that he ended that play last year against Knowshaun Moreno screamed volumes to me. Bradham IS my favorite Bill with many, many others being a close second. Go Bills!

I think that I just found my favorite Bill on offense! Bills Mobile: Robert Woods keeping his sister's word alive http://yi.nzc.am/bcnTs8

You're spot on, that's exactly what brought it up. It started me to reminisce and I remember even back then that this was the guy that all these egos looked up to and respected. That speaks even more about Hull's impact on those teams, that even in the midst of all their self glory that this was the guy that nobody messed with.
-
I can't find it but I remember reading back when Hull was playing that he would get inspired watching Thurman running, taking all those hits and popping back up. Hull would track down the play and help Thurman up, being all jacked up by it. What a guy, what a team, what a leader! Miss ya Big Guy! http://msfame.com/guest-blog/buffalo-columnist-hulls-death-hit-hard/

Van Miller is and always will be the voice of the Bills as far as I'm concerned. Van represents a lot and the best of my football fan life. When he goes a piece of me goes with him. Love you Van, thanks for representing us as only you could. I guess it's Fandemonium!

I had concerns about this mental stability when I read about that whole Chicago Bears/Jay Cutler fiasco but hey, what do I know, I'll just leave it up to the powers to be to make a decision on this guy but he sure sounds like a nut. -
The press speculates on EJ's future
Tipster19 replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't believe this, I thought that I made it clear. Does anyone really think that the Bills are going to keep 4 QBs??! I didn't think so. That means that at least one of them has to go. What I said was that I don't believe that the Bills claimed Simms just to release him. By that observation then that means that 1 of the other 3 QBs, Manuel, Cassell and Taylor, would have to be disposed of. I don't believe then that it would be Cassell, he's great insurance. That leaves 2, Manuel and Taylor and the way that Ryan has been crowing about Taylor I wouldn't expect it to be him. That leaves Manuel. Geesh! Btw, after hearing about Manziel today it wouldn't surprise me if Cleveland considers other options at that position. -

There's still 4 QBs, 1 has to go. I can't imagine the Bills picking up Simms just to release him, he's clearly a back up to a back up. That means 1 of the other 3 has to go. I think that it's a 2 horse race between Taylor and Manuel and Ryan has been praising Taylor and I don't see or hear a lot about Manuel coming from him. I hope I'm wrong, I like Manuel, he's been working his ass off but I think that the poor bastard got caught in a cross fire with all the changes we have been going through. Marone didn't do Manuel any favors, that's for sure. -

I haven't read all 19 pages, it hurts the eyes trying to do it off of an IPhone but now that Simms is claimed I expect Manuel to get traded. The Redskins or Eagles could make sense, it's not what I want but it's what I expect. -
Hahaha, great response Yolo!

You see, hear and read all the bad about today's athletes and the superstars but here's something that is a difference maker. Here's a big shout out to Randy Moss! http://www.inforum.com/sports/3751229-ex-vikings-star-randy-moss-shows-pelican-rapids-graduation

The Bickering Bills are Back!! **Rumor**
Tipster19 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How about "The Dirty Dozen"? Rex can lead the charge in Lee Marvin's role as Major Reisman, only rename him Major Rexman. A bunch of outcasts led by a maverick Major on a do or die mission. -
I couldn't agree more and wasn't too happy when we traded for him. Who gets cut?? Let's see, a classic career overachiever who is integrated into the locker room, franchise and community and was evened personally endorsed by the owner himself or a career back up that has earned a solid reputation as a fumbler that we traded, a what, a 4th rd pick?? Hmm, I have to think about that one for a minute. I don't think that Whaley would like to make this an issue, he should go along with the company on this one and just try and get some kind of compensation for Brown in a trade. A 2016 7th rd pick from somebody will do just fine and mark this one up under the "Oops" column. In Fred We Trust! Go Bills!

If the Bills were to win a SB in the near future,
Tipster19 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lol, that's funny. Not derogatory, just good humor. I guess that I asked for that one, huh! Lol! -
This thought just occurred to me while I was watching Whaley's PC. Nothing against the Pegulas, I believe that Brandon is ecstatic as having them as Mr Wilson's successors but Brandon has been fiercely loyal to RW, the franchise and the community. If the Bills were to win in the near future, would Brandon feel satisfied in completing the journey? I could see Whaley still wanting to flourish for a long time but Brandon may feel like he successfully relayed the franchise to the new era from the old one, brought the franchise back to respectability and finished what he started while being mentored by RW. If this were to ever happen I think it would be a fantastic storyline, even made into a movie. Could you imagine Brandon going to Mrs Wilson's house in the wee hours of a Super Bowl victory and as she answers the door to find a tear stained Brandon telling her, "We did it, this one is for Mr Wilson, our journey is complete", or a scene something like that. Then Brandon just takes off, knowing that there isn't anything else that he could do professionally that could top that, knowing that the franchise is complete and that he can totally handoff the franchise to the Pegulas and let them build their own legacy. Corny? Only if you're not a life long die hard Bills' fan. Heartwarming, downright freaking heartwarming. Go Bills!

Omg, you're right! How could I forget the poster child of this bunch! Lol! The more that I think about it, the more that I would love to see a poster of these players on a "Most Unwanted Poster". Lol! After the season they would still be "The Most Unwanted" for a whole other reason and that would be that no other team would want to play our Dirty Dozen! Haha! Somebody should put this concept in the ear of one of the Bills Mafia guys. I would think that they would love it and make some Tee shirts, posters etc etc. I would do it but I'm too lazy and ignorant. ****, I have to have an inspirational moment just to sign in on this board! Lol!

1. Rex Ryan-Former division coach with a larger than life personality that suddenly finds himself unemployed and by some on his last chance as a HC. 2. McCoy-Chip Kelly boots him and settles for a 2nd yr LB coming off a serious knee injury after initially just wanting draft pick(s) for McCoy. 3. Percy Harvin-Labeled a malcontent and an undesirable teammate that is on his 4th team in 4 years. 4. FJax-"The guy who suppose to not be here". 5. Mario Williams-A former 1st rd pick overall who gets lost in the shuffle due to a defensive scheme change. 6. Anthony Dixon-A roster cut casualty. 7. Chris Hogan-Former colligent stand out lacrosse player who is learning on how to be a NFL WR. 8. Jerry Hughes-Another former 1st rd pick who was stuck 2 great DEs and also got lost in the shuffle and then traded off for just about a bag of peanuts. 9. Seantrel Henderson-Great talent that drops to the 7th rd and almost out of the draft due to off the field issues. Is then given a chance with a warning. 10. Matt Cassell-Journeyman QB that has bounced around the league that teases franchises with starter potential but can't quite get over the top. 11. Buffalo Bills-A franchise that nobody wanted to go to or play for and that has been, for the most part, the laughingstock of the league for the last decade and a half. Well, there you have it, a bunch of outcasts and misfits playing for one of the most obscured franchises in the NFL. To me this looks like it could be a great recipe for success but either way I think that a bunch of us sick bastards like it! This would make one helluva movie if this rogues were ever to obtain some kind upper tier success this year. Haha, only in Buffalo! You got to be kidding me! Lol! Go Bills! .

Yes he did.

Now that Bulaga looks to be staying with the Packers I would like to see us grab their 6th OL Barclay. He was undrafted but was tendered and if I'm not mistaken there would be no compensation if he was given a better contract from another team.

I hate to say it because I consider Wood one of the last true Bill from the old regime but Suh is flat out scary and Wood looked terrible last year. I think that between the way he played last year and his contract that this is one position that will definitely be addressed and maybe as soon as tomorrow.
