The Bills should acquire Cutler.
Tipster19 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a freaking joke! Here's a novel idea, can we get a QB that can throw for more than 200 yards a game??!!! I don't care if it's Cutler, Cutler's mother or anyone else that can hit a freaking WR! -

Fwiw, whoever thinks that Cutler won''t be starting for an NFL team next season is going to be sadly mistaken imo. I can understand that people don't want him to be a Buffalo Bill but folks, seriouslly, do you realize the state of our QB affairs?? Tyron is not hateful but if not for nothing else he is a frail built mobile QB. I have a couple of other issues with him but I'all leave that alone for now. I expect EJ to be long gone and quite frankly I don't care if he does stay. Good kid and all but I'' still scarred from that 2015 Jacksonville/London game. As far as Cardale goes I'll admit that I don't know enough about him but I do hope that he does become something for us but if so I don't believe that it will be anytime soon. Look, I got a lot of big personal problems going on right now so I might not be able to stand trial on some of these accusations but for the guy who thinks that I'm a troll, are you for real??! Go check out my profile, posts etc etc blah blah. I bleed blue and have for over 4 decades, so let's stop the sincerity of a poster that you don't even know. Touché. Very valid objection. -
Say what you want but the guy has a rocket arm, has always played behind a crappy OLine and we have a strong run game. Furthermore Cutler is not afraid to take shots, Taylor plays too conservative for my liking and I'' sick and tired of watching the touch passes skipped in there like he's throwing stones across a lake.

When I heard it today it just shocked me, I don't why it has to such a great degree but it has. Very disturbing and I can't get it off my mind. To make matters worse my youngest lives in Baton Rouge and works for UPS. Here''s the kicker, he doesn't drive routes as much as he used to but he still does. The thing with him is he has anger issues at times and I'm always worried about this type of situation happening with him. Anyways I'm really sorry hearing about all of this, such a young life. What really upsets me is the little that I read Joe was apologizing when the assailant started shooting. It just breaks my heart. RIP Joe

We are witnessing the slow decay of Charles Clay
Tipster19 replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Clay is made of clay. Big blunder here, huge contract, not used, a QB who can't/won't throw to him, terrible pass catcher and falls down when you look at him. Who is to blame for this huge mistake, Greg Roman?? On the other hand O'Leary looks to be the kind of TE that this offense can utilize. -
Not too nice of an article on Tyrod Taylor

What a great summary unfortunately. There is not 1 point that I disagree with. There is another thing that I would like to add and that is I am no fan of Rex, matter of fact I don't like his whole family, never have and I have been watching football for 40+ years. I will say that Rex is the most likable out of his clan, for whatever that is worth. Anyways my follow up point is on top of all of Rex's shortcomings, the icing on the cake is his blowhard antics and swag, especially when going into a big game (the first few games early last year). I must admit the last 4 or 5 games I actually like the way he has conducted himself in pre and post games. I don't know if any of that means anything but I just don't to bash the guy just to bash him, I'm really struggling trying to find something nice or positive to say about the guy. I don't want to wish him any bad or have I'll will towards him, I do want him to just go away though. -

I totally agree with this, he just doesn't absorb the whole field. To add insult to injury I was paying attention Scott Tolzien the other night and not only did he scan all his options he did it in half the time it takes Tyrod to check out his first 2 options. -
Love me some Kyle Williams! My son lives in Louisianna and works for UPS. He just put an offer in on a house in Baton Rouge. We talk about Kyle several times a week an he would love to run into him some day. Matter of fact one of the drivers is good friends with someone who happens to be good friends with Kyle. He got his friend to get a football signed by Kyle for my son who in turn is giving it to me. KW is by far my favorite current Bill and is one of my top 2 or 3 favorite all time Bill. Go Bills!

I have to say that I agree with it. I saw 2 times where Clay was wide open against Cincy, 1 of them would have been for an easy TD. I was pretty frustrated when it happened, Taylor didn't look at him but at least this article offers an explanation on what's been going on between Taylor and Clay. I have had Clay more times than not this year in fantasy football and after every game that I played him I would come away bewildered why he wasn't targeted more than he was. The few times Taylor has thrown to him seemed a lot of those passes were at the line of scrimmage for little to no gain at all. I do believe that Taylor really is a chicken, or at least not talented enough to look the whole field over. I'm starting to think that he's not a potential franchise QB after all. http://buffalonews.com/2016/11/25/jaguars-game-seems-like-another-great-chance-charles-clay-tyrod-taylor-reconnect/

Let's see the range of the Bills' fanbase.

Hahaha, looks like the Bills inspire a universal fraternity! All kidding aside, what I love about Western N'Yers is that when they realize that you're from there they come right up to you and start talking like they knew you for years, very friendly. Now I see that anyone, no matter where in this world where they are, if they have any association with that area are more than happy to communicate with each other. It's quite impressive actually and I'm proud to be from that region, I don't believe that there isn't any other people in the world like us! Go Bills! -

Hey Hondo, so sorry for the cruel mistake, it must have been a real heartbreaker when you finally learned the awful truth, especially when you were defending our rights to be free and be a fan of any team we choose! Many thanks to you and all the others who have allowed us our freedom(s)! I salute you sir! Go Bills! -

How cool is this! So many fans from around the world! The common thread that I see is the commitment. I may be wrong but I suspect that if not all that most of you are long standing Bills' fans. I was born and bred in Rochester, New York, that's how my love affair with this organization started. Moved to Fort Myers, Fl when I was a much younger man with my with wife and 4 small children. Now I'm old and my kids are grown and gone, the kids are living in 3 different States and my wife and I have since relocated to Augusta, GA but I know this, I know that whenever the Bills are shown or mentioned all my kids think of me, it's an immediate and natural association. My youngest (25 years old) is the only true Bills' fan though, he's as rabid as I was when I was much younger. Now I'm much more tempered, and calloused, with my enthusiasm but I still love the Bills deeply. My wife (married 34 years!) and I sit and watch every Bills' game together, just hoping and cheering together for their success. I guess the only regret might be is watching my youngest agonize over this team like I have been for the last 4 + decades. We talk throughout each and every game and I help him deal with the torture that this team has so many times have delivered. I guess that you can call me his Bills' psychologist. Lol! Anyways thanks to all who has participated, it's very cool and interesting to see so many who live so far away and to also know that we ALL love this crazy franchise! Hey, one day we will all be going out of our minds with happiness and excitement when the Bills finally win a Super Bowl! I truly believe that this will happen one day, I just hope and pray that it does while I'm still alive! Cheers to all the Buffalo brothers and sisters out there and remember this, GO BILLS! -
I'll start. I live in Augusta, Georgia. I'm not sure how many Bills' fans are around here. I'd be curious to see which fan lives the furthest from Buffalo, New York geographically.

It will be a sad day when Kyle is no longer a Bill. We have too many pretenders (Dareus) on this team but Kyle is the real deal, a real throwback. I hope that he never wears another jersey, the guy is our very own and I don't ever want to share him. What I wouldn't do for this guy to experience just one play-off game. I can't think of one player in the whole league that is more deserving, a real man's man. Thanks for all that you have done for us Kyle! Btw, that was my favorite play of the game by far, nothing but all heart!

These bs calls and non calls are ridiculous! Jarvis Landry's cheap shot on Asron, probably ending his career and now Sherman plowing into Carpenter's knee and just getting a slap on the wrist! The delay of game was the icing on the cake! It's just not this game or season, traditionally Buffalo gets boned time after time! If anyone says anything then you're a crybaby but the truth of the matter it's just bs and I'm sick of it!

He's got the perfect name because he's made of clay. He's more fragile than a WR.

I wanted to list more but my response was already getting to be too lengthy. I was just trying to explain the Bills' situation to my wife and I think that this is the main reason why I'm so bitter towards Dareus. Our play off aspirations are so jeporized already so early in the season and that is because of the games that we have lost, them being inter division/conference. Due to tie breakers we couldn't have lost any worse of games, except the New England game which I fully expect them to have a better record than us from here on out so tie breakers shouldn't come into play with them. If I had to pick the games that are must wins outside of the rematches against the Jets and Dolphins it would have to be at least the Patriots, Bengals and Steelers. What does anyone think of our chances against those 3 teams? For us to have a somewhat realistic chance of making it to the post season we have to win at least 2 of those 3 games, bare minimum, and win our rematches within our division. It's not about the money but for us to be dedicating so much of our salary cap to one player then we have the right to expect him to be playing a full season barring injury. If he is worth that type of financial commitment then it's reasonable to expect him to have made a difference in some of those losses, especially the Miami one. We were actually winning that game after 3 quarters desire all of the injuries and poor play/missed tackles by the defense. I just watched his PC and I find myself not being able to believe one word of what he says. THAT'S who we have to depend on??! It's a joke, just another bad joke on us.

If and when he does play I think that I'll be more pissed when he makes plays.

What really galls me is that guys like Aaron Williams gives his heart and soul to that team by flying around out there, getting cracked, actually putting his life on the line for this team while that fat piece of sh!t just sits back smoking blounts, laughing and cracking jokes without a care in the world. Other guys like Kyle Williams and Corey Graham, one being a 30 something years old, coming back from an injury filled year, pouring his heart out and laying it all on the line, and the other playing in front of his home town, playing with pride. Even Jerry Hughes and Ritchie Incognito, who both got paid as well in the off season, keeping their mouths shut and just grinding. There was one play, I forget which game, where Incognito just went up and completely over trying to lay a lick on somebody. These are the guys that I want to hear about, the ones who really give a sh!t! I hope the first time that that big piece of garbage plays in front of the home crowd that they really know what they think of him. As far as I'm concerned he came never come back from what he did, no matter how well he may play and no matter what he has to say. I just wish that there is some way to get out from under his contract so he can no longer be a Bill. Where's Ted Washington, THAT'S the kind of guy I want for a DT for the Buffalo Bills!

Zero interest. The way that he failed this team and franchise is indescribable.

I LOVE this quote! It is so spot on! Well said BADOL! I wonder just what the consensus is with the fanbase about Dareus. I for one can't stand him anymore. It's too bad too because I was really hoping that Dareus would of been the one that Kyle Williams was going to be passing the torch to. Dareus is just an idiot he disgusts me. I could never accurately put into words of how much I despise him. It's too bad, Dareus had the chance of becoming an all time great Bill. I will celebrate the day that he is no longer a Bill.
