  1. I sure hope there was no collusion with Carolina's Asst GM Brandon Beane during the draft. If so I would find that VERY hypocritical and I for one would not want him to become the new GM of the Bills. Talk about having trust issues!
  2. Change, personnel, players, philosophies etc etc
  3. I guess my question is if Cardale gets the boot, and in my opinion that is what I expect, what could we get for him in return if anything? I don't think that it would be a draft pick so is there a player out there that we could trade for with him?
  4. I would like to think this as well but unfortunately if Peterman or Jones were signed to the PS another team would come in and scoop them up.
  5. I feel for you, I guess that Ishould be thankful that I'm not a hockey fan as well or otherwise I'd be in your shoes as well. Would that be considered double indemnity?? Lol! Btw, I think that I might owe you an apology. I think that that I had a rude retort to a response that you had to one of my posts. No offense meant.
  6. With the addition QB Nathan Peterman the Bills now have 5 QBs. Two will be released sooner or later. I can't imagine that the Bills will cut Peterman after they just drafted him so I fully expect Cardale Jones and Josh Woodrum to be the odd men out. If that's the case then I would like to see the Bills get SOMETHING for Cardale instead of just cutting him loose for nothing. I saw that the Redskins are going to try and trade RB Matt Jones and if they can't then they might just release him. I think that this trade could benefit both clubs.
  7. This. The guy did his best for the Bills and I appreciate that. This whole dysfunctional franchise isn't solely because of Doug Whaley, I promise you that. Good man, good soldier, best of luck in your next endeavor.
  8. The Great Gazoo.
  9. It hurts to see the state of affairs of this franchise. Time after time to witness the influx of this "organization". The only time that I have ever seen success with this franchise was the Bill Polian Era and that was with a GM that we backed into. Right, wrong or indifferent with this latest purge the fact remains that we're nowheres near we any of us want to be with the Bills. This post isn't meant to be negative, just a non bi-polar assessment. I feel for so many of the people who have year after year, decade after decade pinned their hopes to these teams of the Bills. I think the term non stability is what best describes this franchise the past couple of decades. So once again here I go, like so many of us, I'll pray and dream of a successful season but this time it will be with much more tempered optimism. I will say that McDermott strikes me as someone who has a plan and is very structured and that gives me hope and I find as a refreshing change from past seasons.
  10. Very well stated although I will reserve my opinion on Terry Pegula, it's still too early to tell but he seems too emotional for my liking. I love this line, it's so true!
  11. I like this response, it's a good reality check. I liked a lot of what Whaley did here and still feel that he has always been all about Buffalo. With that being said there always seemed to friction and/or confusion in the FO. No leadership or a clear cut direction and while I wouldn't pin this completely on Whaley he was still a good part of it. Hopefully McDermott becomes our solution of getting on the right track. I'd like to think and say that he is but what do I know. What I do know that if he isn't then I'm screwed because I have invested over 4 decades into this franchise and I'm firmly in my back nine! Go Bills???!!??
  12. Conley Cam Robinson Zay Jones
  13. What this trade down tells me is that the 1 or 2 guys (Mike Williams, Corey Davis) that they wanted were gone by the time they picked.
  14. Madd Charlie, I applaud your sentiment. No doubt Mr Wilson had his share of flaws but there was no question about his authority, and that includes the whole league and their owners. People can say what they want about him but his mind was razor sharp when it came to the financials of owning and running an NFL. It didn't equate to great success on the field throughout the decades but it was a very profitable business and that is just what it is, it is a business if we like it or not. Unfortunately this can't be said of the Pegulas. Their heart, passion and love for the region is in the right place but they are in over their heads about running this business, at least until this point but hopefully that can eventually change. I may be wrong about this but you strike me as a young man and a young, optimistic fan of this franchise and I like that, I like that a lot. Don't ever lose that wide eye innocence, it's refreshing. I find your effervescence contagious for me. It kind of reminds me of a puppy that makes an old dog feel young and energetic if only for a few minutes. Thanks for sharing your perspective, trust your heart when it comes to this team/organization and filter your eyes when you read a jaded message board like this one. Don't change kid, you're young enough to be able to enjoy the rewards that this franchise will eventually be able to deliver for you. Oh, and remember, Go Bills!
  15. The Jets desperately need a QB and were rumored at one time to be highly interested in Trubisky. They are not too far down the ladder to make a move for the #1 pick overall. Who knows though, there's so much smoke around draft time, especially this one, everybody is lying through their teeth.
  16. Aught??!!! What, caught on a message board discussing a topic that holds interest to me??! What an idiot! Get a life pal.
  17. Yeah, seeing that what just happened was discussed a month is more than appropriate. There sure is a bunch of miserable pricks on this board. Anything else that you want to complain about??
  18. Let's see what the Bills do now.
  19. Bam, nice response! That was the right bower of all trumps! (For all you euchre players)
  20. Thoughts and prayers are on Mr. Mortal and his family. RIP.
  21. I just felt like saying that. I can't wait for the new season! Go Bills!
  22. Buffalo had the #1 rush offense the last 2 years, why wouldn't a team be interested in Gillislee? Denver could stand some help in the run department, a lack of it really affected their offense and Tampa needs help as well. I don't think that it's too far of a reach for a team like them to step up and consider a proven veteran RB that wouldn't break the bank for them. http://www.espn.com/blog/denver-broncos/post/_/id/25567/to-lift-offense-broncos-know-they-must-improve-run-game
  23. It wouldn't surprise me if so. The Bills have a glut of RBs and Shady is the featured RBso Gillislee really is expendable. His age isn't much of a factor at this time but if the Bills could cash him out for better draft position then so be it. Picking up another draft pick in a draft that is deep in secondary talent could allow the Bills to move back into the end of the 1st rd with a package of their 2nd and 3rd picks and still afford them an extra 5th rd pick to use on some secondary help. It would also help ease the sting of not having a 4th rd pick in this year's draft. If the Bills do end up somehow getting back into the back of the 1st rd then I expect them to take Mahomes for our potential future QB. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/platform/amp/2017/2/21/14673828/mike-gillislee-buffalo-bills-free-agent-contract-extension-projection http://www.buffalorumblings.com/platform/amp/2017/3/6/14838132/buffalo-bills-tender-mike-gillislee-nfl-free-agency
