  1. Sure, none are too secretive. The usual pro football talk/rotoworld, theredzone.org, Buffalorumblings etc, etc. Anything that might give me a news blurb.
  2. Don't overlook what you got, my mom passed. What I wouldn't do just to spend some time with her. #CountYourBlessingsNotYourStax
  3. Everyday I pull up the Bills' app and devour every tidbit that I can get my hands and eyes on. Everyday I have a few favorite web sights that I pull up, hoping to catch SOMETHING that will tell me or give me an insight of my favorite team. Everyday I think about my favorite team throughout the day, wondering how they are doing and wondering what they are up to. Everyday I'm hoping that this year is going to be successful. Everyday I pull TSW to see what is going on and seeing what all of you are saying and reading your insights. Everyday I talk to somebody, anybody but mostly my son about the Bills. Everyday I daydream about the upcoming season and what it will hold for me. Everyday I think about THEM! The Bills have been my longest love affair, 4+ decades and I have NEVER cheated on them. They are now my 2nd wife. Everyday I love them... Go Bills!
  4. I couldn't agree more with this train of thought. On top of all that didn't the Bills cut Karlos and Manny Lawson because of suspensions? I forget the exact structure but Pegula was on the hook for some big money last year if the final roster had 2 or more suspended players.
  5. It seemed odd at first but letting Beane have final say over the 53 man roster gets McDermott off the hook. If there has to be a bad cop who has to make a hard decision then let it be Beane so McDermott doesn't alienate the players. As we all know that there has been a complete change of guards at One Bills Drive and there will be some hard decisions on players in the next year or two and some might involve some fan favorites that won't initially be popular decisions. With all that being said if anyone doesn't think that McDermott isn't firmly entrenched with the final say over the final roster might want to rethink that belief.
  6. I think that we will see a lot more cohesion on both sides of the ball right off the bat.
  7. Hopefully a cornerstone for this defense for years to come.
  8. ROI, Sammy can't seem to stay healthy, the Bills didn't pick up his 5th option, don't to wait until he's a FA to try and re-sign him, get the salary cap in line under the new regime and see what they can do with it.
  9. Hypothetically what value does Sammy have in a trade? If he was on another team and we were trying to trade for him what would you be willing to give up to get him? Would anyone here be willing to give up next year's 1st rd pick for him? I bet nobody would so why would another team?
  10. Lucky for you, you came to the right place with that question, just ask the Bills, they're experts with that.
  11. Buffalo has a new regime, new thinking. Carolina never impressed me with their WRs, matter of fact Carolina's GM Dave Gettleman had the guts to get rid of longstanding WR Steve Smith when he still had a few good years left in him. Who knows what the Bills will do. Only The Great Gazoo knows what is going to happen!
  12. It's speculative but he is the Ravens' Insider so maybe there is a little fire where there is smoke. I wouldn't be against trading Sammy if the Bills don't intend on re-signing him or aren't able to. They might as get something while they can. A second day 2018 draft pick and a player in return could be comparable (TE Max Williams or a LB?). Oops, I forgot the link! http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-signing-a-free-agent-wide-receiver-may-not-be-ravens-only-option-20170509-story.html
  13. Geez, what a surprise! (Sarcasm)
  14. He has shown to be the best player so far in last month's 3 week Spring League. He has very comparable attributes to Gillislee and guess who he played for the whole time that he was a Texan? That's right, none other than Rick Dennison. He's worth a look at and wouldn't surprise me if the Bills sign him for camp. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/19304002/is-spring-league-nfl-springboard-least-shot
  15. I agree with this but when McCoy was the only one to miss the voluntary workouts he couldn't have endeared himself too much with Capt Egghead. I think that when the Bills drafted Dion Dawkins they may have been laying the ground work for life after Richie as well. By this time next year you may not recognize the roster.
  16. Just an opinion, based on thought not fact.
  17. Forget about it, it won't happen. This isn't about money or ability or anything else like that, this is about control. This is McDermott's team, he doesn't want any kind of influence or distraction of any kind. AW is an old tie to the past and could cause a division amongst the fan base, teammates etc etc. McD is firmly putting his thumbprint on this franchise and there is no looking back. With that being said I love AW and wish him nothing but the best in whatever he chooses to do but I hope that that he never dons a helmet ever again for his own safety, I would never want to see him get hurt again, the guy is a diamond and is a true Bill.
  18. The Patriot reporters tried their hardest to get TD Mike to talk some trash about Buffalo but to his credit he didn't take the bait. http://www.patriots.com/audio/2017/04/29/conor-mcdermott-429-its-dream-come-true
  19. Where's Walter Powell? I thought that he was still on the team.
  20. Hahaha, apparently not! I see that I just proved to all of Bills' Nation that I'm a retard! No more trying to do statistics for me, I'll just stick to opinions, it's too difficult trying to do this off an IPhone!
  21. My apologies, I miscounted. Between 2010-2013 they kept 2 out of 35 players. 2014 we have 4 out of 7 picks still on the roster. 2015 they kept 3 out 5 and 2016 we have 7 out of 7 players still on the roster. Out of 7 drafts they had 54 piayers they chose and only 16 are still on the roster, that includes all 7 from the 2016 draft. Hopefully I counted right this time but if I did then the percentage is even lower, that would make less than 30% retained.
  22. I went back and checked our drafts since 2010. Whaley was under Nix if I'm not mistaken from 2010-2013. In those 4 drafts the Bills chose 35 players, only 2 (Darius & Cordy) are still on the roster. Under Whaley's watch in the 2014-2016 drafts the Bills chose 22 players, 17 are still technically on the roster. Here are the remaining 17 from those drafts: 2014 1st rd/#4 Sammy 2nd rd/#44 Kouandjio 3rd rd/#73 Preston Brown 7th rd/#237 Seantrel Henderson We retained our 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 7th rd picks out of that draft. 2015 2nd rd/#50 Ronald Darby 3rd rd/#81 John Miller 7th rd/#234 Dez Lewis We retained our 2nd, 3rd and 7th rd picks out of that draft. 2016 1st rd/#19 Shaq Lawson 2nd rd/#41 Reggie Ragland 3rd rd/#80 Adolphus Washington *4th rd/#139 Cardale Jones 5th rd/#156 Jonathan Williams *6th rd/#192 Kolby Listenbee 6th rd/#218 Kevon Seymour Technically we still currently have all these players on the roster. *Compensatory picks. There you have it, as much if not more, this is one of our biggest failures if not the biggest problem is our "astute" drafting. The Bills have 19 out of 57 players in 7 drafts, 33%! That is inflated because the real disturbing part is how many of 7 players in last year's draft are we going to retain??!
  23. Intriguing idea. I think that the only franchise crazy enough to give up their next year's 1st rd pick would be that Jim airway of the Colts. WR Donte Moncrief is also in his contract year as well and as much as Sammy can't stay healthy neither can Moncrief.
  24. I apologize if this has already been posted but I checked and didn't see anything. If so mods please merge.
