  1. Hahahahahaha!!! If I remember correctly he had some issues way back when. I don't remember exactly what it was but something tells me that it was some real weaselly kind of stuff. I don't want an OC that has hair (yeah, pun intended) hanging around him. Keep that bald bastard out of Buffalo, we can do better than him.
  2. Ha, if he liked Robert Quinn then he's gonna !@#$ing love Kyle Williams! Our boy had 2 sacks like that last year! Who has more heart than Kyle !@#$ing Williams??!!! NOBODY! I love this hire! I have been hoping for toughness, now we got a !@#$ing marine leading us into battle??!!! Wow! Go Bills!
  3. Here's an excerpt from McDermott's PC. You win with people, McDermott said. This is a people-driven business. Xs and Os are important, you better have xs and os but I want guys that care about people, that care about these players and go about it the right way. If this doesn't describe Kyle than I don't know what does. I fully expect McDermott to sit down and have him have a one on one with Kyle and let him know that he wants him back next year, not just because of the kind of player that he is on the field but more so because of the kind of person that he is off the field.
  4. Please don't ever compare Kyle to Schobel, one is in it for the love of the game and the other was in it for the money.
  5. I don't know how the Buffalo could work it out but Mornhinweg is a perfect fit for the Bills. Furthermore if this were to happen I wouldn't be too surprised if Tyrod and the Bills were able to come to an agreement on a new restructured contract. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-ravens-notes-1011-20161010-story.html
  6. I don't see us being able to trade any of our big name players due to the retarded contracts that the Bills handed out. Most personnel are avoiding us like the plague and I would suspect that teams would too. Dare us is 1 strike away with a massive contract and **** for brains. We're stuck with him, like it or not. Why would a team trade for Gilmore, he's walking this off season unless we tag him and I don't believe that the Bills are willing to lock up that kind of money on him, especially the way his season went, personally I don't think that it was too impressive. They can just deal with him directly in FA. Hughes, teams like DE/OLB with speed and even though we could probably get out from his contract in a trade but the guy plays out of control, one never knows what he is going to do, he's got quite the temper. We can't tear down our OL, matter of fact we need more of them not less. I hate being the bearer of bad news but we're screwed. First we need to get a HC and a competent coaching staff in here to try and stop this bleeding and start stabilizing this roster, it's on the verge of spinning out of control. If things keep on going in the direction that we have been heading then you can expect that Watkins won't want to be here and he won't re-sign. I wouldn't be shocked if McCoy will eventually want out in time as well, he really didn't to be here to begin with. Hopefully Kyle doesn't want to retire and I would love to have Aaron come back as well but let's face it that guy needs to retire before he becomes permanently paralyzed. Eric Wood is the last true Bill but after he got injured the Bills may have come to the conclusion that he might be expendable. We need leaders folks and due to one. Ircumstance or another we don't have anybody. Trades are great but it takes two to tango and another bad franchise (Cleveland) isn't going to hitch their wagon to another pitiful franchise (Bills). They don't have to, they purged their roster, got a bright energetic offensive minded HC and stockpiled a shitload of picks. They don't need us, we need them and all we can do is to hope that they would be stupid enough to deal with us. Sorry but it ain't gonna happen. Our best bet is that we pull off one hell of a draft and that will only work is if we get the right guy in here to coach this embarrassing tesm. Go Bills???
  7. I don't know how accurate any of this is but I love the fact that you had the guts to put it out there, you have painted quite a picture and have one much to think about! I love this inside ****, even if it is inaccurate! Nice job buddy, take the next step and come up with a plausible scenario on the next HC selection, I would love to hear what you have to say about that.
  8. The more I think about it the more Frank Reich makes sense. He has a congenial personality, which would squell the image of Whaley not being able to get along with a HC and it would help rebuild the public relations of the fan base. If this were to happen then it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Polian was brought on board as a Senior Advisor as well. Furthermore Reich being a former QB and offensive minded coach it would make even more sense for the mere fact of working with our QBs, whether it be Tyrod, Cardale or whoever. One other thing, our 1st pick in the draft will be a QB, whether they stay at the #10 spot or trade up, which is reasonable to think because we're not that far down the ladder to move up.
  9. Great insight and a great article to support it. Interesting that you mentioned Norv Turner, I forgot about him. Although he resigned he didn't retire. I would like to see a collection of veteran coaches make up our staff. A collection like Coughlin for HC, Norv for for OC and Wade Phillips for D.C., or something of that nature. It's great that the Pegulas are willing to spend big $$$ on the players and although they did on the 2 previous coaches it was money misspent. I would like to see them spend the money on a good veteran coaching staff.
  10. I don't believe that bringing in an unproven HC is feasible the way that this organization is in such an influx unless it was someone who has ties to Buffalo, the franchise or the region and that would be for public relation purposes only. I would fully expect that if that's not the case, and I don't believe that that will happen, that it will be a former HC that has experience in running a football team. One of the things that has been mentioned is not having enough players on the field and we all witnessed the Chinese firedrill it was getting players and plays into the field. Another thing that I have noticed a few times this year was the lack of urgency and clock management when it got to be near or under the 2 minute warning before halves and at the end of the game. Anyways while it might exciting and/or worth getting a fresh new talent in here to run this team I just don't think that the Pegulas & Co will have enough confidence in taking that kind of risk on an unproven HC.
  11. Man this pains me to say this but this "organization" (what a oxymoron that is!) sorely needs a Tuna type football czar. The Pegulas are trying to run this franchise systematically and it's becoming a bigger mess than it was before they purchased it.
  12. I don'T know if I really agree with all this but I just wanted to recognize a well thought out post. Job well done! Ps-as I have to edit my short response! Lol!
  13. There, I got the ball rolling. I just tweeted Aaron under the hashtag #23❤️. Jump in and show Aaron what you think of him.
  14. If our fan base really cares about him, and I believe that we all do, then we should start a petition to influence his thinking on retiring. He's a true Bill and I personally don't want to see him leaving the field on a stretcher again, it was gut wrenching the first 2 times, the next time I'm afraid that he won't be so lucky. 23 Love. #23❤️
  15. EJ has got no eyes! Get rid of him!
  16. Man it's painful watching this team.
  17. Very similar timeline, you and I. I totally agree with your thinking, it's time to purge the whole damn thing. Have the Pegulas start completely fresh, it might be the only way to salvage their image because they have been taken quite the publicity beating of late.
  18. Hypothetically what would the Bills have to trade for Eli? A 1st and 3rd this year's draft and either a 1st or a 2nd and a 4th in 2018? Would that be fair and if so would you do it?
  19. If thinks that the Giants wouldn't give up an aging Manning for some serious compensation should reconsider the whole picture. What's in it for the Bills? How about a franchise that is going down a very dark hole with the way that this organization has been handled in the last couple/few years. This is the type of team/roster that the Tuna made a HOF career out of, a mismanaged team that has a lot of big pieces but don't know what the hell to do with it. Coughlin is an experienced multiple Super Bowl winning desiplinarian coach. Make no mistake about it, the Pegulas have taken quite a public beating for the way that they have handled things since they bought this franchise. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were to pull a Malcolm Glazeresque type move here. Oh, and btw, that resulted in the Buccaneers winning their one and only Super Bowl. What I would like to see is Ernie Accorsi be named Senior Special Advisor and clean out that rathole mess that the Bills call a front office.
  20. That should solve the QB problem. I would fully expect Coughlin to recruit Gilbride as OC as well. Now if they would only lure Wade Phillips back as D.C. Go Bills!
  21. I can't really do any kind of research because I'm stuck in a hospital but I was really counting on Bill showing Chris on how to be a GM. I think Chris has headed the scouting dept in Jacksonville the last couple/few years and the Jaguars seem to have accumalated some nice young talent during that time. Anyways it might be a rotten idea but guess what I really don't have much to do. Lol! Btw, thanks for the well wishes Rico and C.Biscuit, much appreciated! Anyways, speaking of nepotism there is always the Shanahans, which I suggested in an earlier post but wasn't received too warmly. Before I forget , I just read where Wade Philips might be a FA coach. As we all know he runs a great defense and he's one heck of a D.C. I don't like Dennis Thurman at all and would love to see him replaced. Should Wade be that guy?
  22. I'm bedridden for the next few days so I'm really not into debating but I'm going to throw an concept out there and would appreciate some input/opinions. I've always appreciated what I perceived as commitment, loyalty and dedication to the Bills' franchise from Russ Brandon and his desciple Doug Whaley but in these last few years (as I think about it it was in and around Ralph's demise) all this dysfunctionality, internal leaks and these retarded !@#$ing contracts. I'm starting to buy in that maybe a total purge is in order. That brings me to Chris Polian, more importantly the Polians. Although Bill may be too old to be a full blown GM I believe that being a senior advisor would be ideally suited for him. Making his son Chris the GM, like a GM apprentice like he was trying to do in Indiapolis, would be a great fit here in Buffalo. There's several reasons why I think that this could be a possibility and also work. 1. Fusing the old with the new way of thinking, 2. It would motivate Bill to consider such a position. 3. I fully support that a GM should select his own coach and if Whaley is the one being mealy mouth then he needs to go. 4. The Polians for many reasons would have our best interest at heart. 5. Being a long term NFL man Polian has relationships with plenty of personnel, we need to have that utilized more than ever. 6. It's time for a new era, completely.
  23. R.I.P. Bruce, thanks for the memories.
  24. Hopefully in light of today and what it stands for is helping to make a difference today for all the Bills' fan to deal with yesterday's disappointing loss and what it meant for our season. Funny thing is the sun did rise today and while I'm not happy with what happen I do look forward to what can happen from here on out. Because it is Christmas today is the first day of healing for me. Hopefully it is for you as well. Merry Christmas!
