  1. He's worth a 5th. He's likely to be released if the tepid comments about him by the GM mean anything in regards to production matching compensation.
  2. It tells me the exact opposite, why would you get into details on compensation only to later find out the player isn't interested. You make the call to the agent after getting the ok from the GM and when you see it isn't a realistic option, you don't pursue the trade any further.
  3. Just connecting the dots here: Gronk retired yesterday and Kraft wants a trial today. Looks like Mr. Kraft has settled on a legal representative.
  4. Guys, I know this is a lost cause, but there is already a thread that is quite large specifically for posting mock drafts. Do we really need new threads every time someone decides to do a mock draft?
  5. Agreed. He noted that IDL is tougher to remove from the game, whereas you can remove edge pressure with scheme. I did like how he noted that Chad Lewis and Greg Olsen were super important to the QBs in Philly and Carolina. I'd note that both of those guys are 6'6 and this team does appear to prefer people with more prototypical size. Of the top TEs on the board, Hockenson most matches that description as far as size and he's a mauler in the run game. I don't know how we'd do it, but I'd love a draft where we manage to come out of it with a top DT and TE, even if that means losing some picks to move back into the 1st to grab Hock.
  6. Some people don't bother to read past the first opinion or snap-take of a player/topic on this board. You might be better off just writing those posters off, they aren't capable of exercising actual discernment.
  7. I like Cashman and I like Drew Tranquil in the middle rounds. Wouldn't even mind taking White early and taking a DT with our second pick. We can't get amazing starters at every position, but drafting a LB would allow Lorax to play DE more and get a more consistent pass rush going for us.
  8. Positions I'd be cool with in the 1st and 2nd - DE, DT, TE, LB, OG, OT
  9. Packers are smoking the Bills. Go vote just for the heck of it.
  10. Meh, who cares. Local radio in Pittsburgh is the definition of "words will never hurt me."
  11. Yeah it's pretty obvious, then you see posts like this taking shots at AB.
  12. Super please with this pick up. We have solid depth at CB. Shaping up to be a solid BPA draft. We're going to be cutting some decent guys come training camp in final cuts.
  13. He had a workout with the team. I presume they're happy with his weight and speed since they signed him.
  14. They don't look guilty. These players and their movement were using the lawsuit to prop up their visibility, they don't have that anymore. The settlement will be in the news for maybe a week and people will forget about it. A case would have given them relevance for even longer.
  15. The fact that they settled for so little just shows they didn't have a case. You don't sell out a "movement" about taking a stand (or knee) by taking a settlement if you have proof, you drag the organization through the mud to protect other players to encourage them to make similar stands in the future.
  16. Throwaway comments like this in articles are so annoying because they are super vague and shirk any responsibility. Who was doing the "saying" that the Bills were furious? Cause saying that they were "said" to be furious is not attributing that comment to a source, it's basically just repeating a rumor, which is trash reporting. I can say Rich Cimini is "said" to pee sitting down; that doesn't mean I can verify it, but now I've put it out there as reported truth.
  17. OL to TE specifically, I can't recall one. But there are plenty of CBs who transition to S successfully and that change is harder than you'd think. Plenty of college Ts who switch to G in the NFL as well. Lorax is playing OLB/DE and he started his career on the DL, then OL/TE and then lost a bunch of weight and now plays everywhere, so it's not the weirdest thing.
  18. Oliver then Risner/Lindstrom would be great. I'd be ok with the Taylor/Tillery as well
  19. Tillery and Jones are probably the best 3 techniques who are going in the 2nd in mocks right now. Daniel Wise is a decent mid-round option.
  20. Looks like we could go 10-6, so I'll say 9-7 just cause there's always at least one game that swings the wrong way.
  21. I believe he said he was in a holding pattern right now and they were likely done looking at FA DL at this point, but maybe after the draft (seems like he was open to picking up someone who might be available via trade or getting cut as a result of a team drafting a younger player).
  22. I didn't bother reading this tome of a post beyond the opening sentence. I presume I can summarize it by saying "some guy ?s on our last 2 drafts for whatever reason." Did I get it right?
