The thing that frustrates me the most about Rex is his complete refusal to actually acknowledge failures. Sure, he makes blanket statements about "not getting it done" but he coddles TT like he never makes a mistake and shoulder shrugs when asked questions like why he can't beat anyone with a winning record. This team shows no accountability for it's shortcomings and limps across the finish line in blowout losses without even putting up a fight.

It seems like there are a lot of opinions on this board about who we should blame for the past 17 years of failure in Buffalo: Russ Brandon, Nix/Whaley, terrible coaching selections, etc. My question is this, how does this all get turned around in your opinion beyond just a sweeping "fire everybody?" Is there something beyond just playing musical chairs at coach that we can do to change the team around? I just scratch my head because it seems institutional now. I kept thinking Wilson's age and lack of involvement with the team was the driving factor behind our futility but we've switched owners and it feels like the same song, different verse. Feel free to merge this thread to whichever complaints thread you want if the question seems redundant, but I would like to hear what you guys think can be done this offseason to give this team some spine and start moving us in the right direction. Thanks all.

[Misleading Title]Tyrod and blood sugar

Please elaborate -
We Should Pick Up the Option on Tyrod No Matter What

Disagree, with this line and running game an average pocket passer would be a vast improvement. Time to move on to anyone else. -
OK, let's do this: Tyrod Taylor

It's pretty hard not to blame the coaches as much as the QB. There are teams who set their teams up for success and teams who sacrifice players at the altar of their systems. Belichick looks at his roster and what is available cheap on the market and then adjusts his scheme to the players. Have no real deep threats? Have your short quick receivers run rub routes all day and take your shots down the field with your massive TEs. When he had Moss they went vertical all the time. He puts his team in a position to win. We don't have a great QB, why aren't we running short crossing routes and moving the pocket to get TT in space? Those are plays he can execute. -
You have to love JM and that sloth dressed up as a human Chris Brown, they do their best to polish the turd that is this team and make it look presentable. I love the press scrums when players are getting ripped apart and you hear CB come in with a quality question like "that 4 week suspension really gave you some time off to let your body heal. Would you say it was actually a blessing in disguise?"

For the sake of everyone's tomorrow I pray you are typing these posts up on a mid-90s laptop directly on your lap - do not make my children have to coexist in a world with yours. You're ruining the curve for everyone! -
bills organization is a joke

OP - just curious, you are aware we would need Karlos to play football, not participate in pie-eating contests? -
It's a message board predicated on people who enjoy the game, only natural for people to choose this board as the place they vent their feelings.

Gilmore "was" reportedly available for trade

I want to re-sign both of them and actually have a healthy rotation. Gilmore they can trade for a penny and a kind word and I'm ok with it now -
Shady injures hamstring in practice

Slight correction, we have to give our 2017 pick to the Patriots because, as division leader they receive all the forefeitures automatically. -

If wawrow is saying gametime decision it's a gametime decision. Personally, I think this would be the week to hold him out or dress him and let him sit most of the game unless we need him. You're not going to convince me that the Dolphins are suddenly a good team after one single decent game. That would be like saying the Jets are awesome cause we played like total garbage one week, even their coach knows better than that. -
Week 7 predictions: Bills at Phins
ndirish1978 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Shady doesn't play what exactly is the gameplan? We have Gillislee, who is nice as a change of pace and then nothing. -
Exactly. I agree with the comment on force-feeding local games and keeping the price-point on a subscription service way too high. It's laughable how they don't seem to realize the internet exists. Now, I live out of the country so I purchase Gamepass every year to stream all the games I want in HD, but that's just because I'm a stickler for doing things a certain way, it would be so easy just to watch everything on kodi or a streaming website. The league's model is outdated. They should scrap DirectTv and just do Gamepass for everyone. If you don't want to blow $200 a season they could offer packages where you could follow 1 or 2 teams and they would pull in bank. The problem with the NFL is they are under the delusion that people need to come to them. They don't even pay the bands that they get to perform at the SuperBowl (https://www.upvenue.com/article/1881-do-artists-pay-to-perform-at-the-superbowl.html) and they reportedly went so far last year as to tell artists they had to pay the NFL for the exposure of performing.

So.... 4-12? -
Prime time games have been garbage, why is this a question? They set the schedule based on prior performance and have a bunch of garbage teams like the Colts. You want anyone other than hometown fans to watch the games, make the matchups compelling.

Pretty much this. My enthusiasm for watching other games hinges on how my two teams are doing. Notre Dame is the worst time in the world right now so I watch zero college football

Re-sign Zach Brown and just rotate our ILBs. -
You're talking about a group of people who are drunk and already riled up, do we really think this wasn't said by at least someone in the area, if not the girl herself? The real question is, why is this a story? Is calling someone a Muslim an insult now? People burn effigies of opposing players all the time, why are we supposed to treat this player as special? I'm sure there are plenty of racist comments lobbed at opposing players at New Era field on a weekly basis, this is just a group of people looking for a reason to be professionally outraged so people can see how sensitive they are.
