Video of McCoy angry after the game
Mark Vader replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still can't believe that there are Bills fans who still say we should trade him. The best RB we've had since Thurman. If he was not 100% in that game, I sure didn't see it. I love his passion. He is a team player. He says that he can play until he's 33.....I say let him! -
Winter is in full blast, the holidays are over, school is back in session and the year end awards are being handed out. Yet, the movie studios keep churning out new products each week hoping to grab more money from people who need some new entertainment away from the hyped holiday blockbusters and the snooty independent Oscar films. Traditionally, this month and February are referred to as the "Garbage Season" of movies, because this is when lesser films and films that were thought to have been big at one time, but actually aren't, get dumped at this time of year. Lately, this has changed. Especially in February. There are one or two quality movies that do get released at this time of year, so moviegoers may not want to be dismissive. So without further ado, here is what's on our plate this month. Chris Hemsworth stars in "12 Strong", which tells the story of the first Special Forces team deployed to Afghanistan after 9/11; under the leadership of a new captain, the team must work with an Afghan warlord to take down the Taliban. Also starring Michael Shannon, Elsa Pataky, Taylor Sheridan, Michael Pena & William Fichtner. In "Maze Runner: The Death Cure", Young hero Thomas embarks on a mission to find a cure for a deadly disease known as the "Flare". Starring Rosa Salazar, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Dylan O'Brien & Kaya Scodelario. Liam Neeson is, "The Commuter". A businessman is caught up in a criminal conspiracy during his daily commute home. Also starring Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson & Jonathan Banks. Gerard Butler stars in "Den of Thieves". A gritty crime saga which follows the lives of an elite unit of the LA County Sheriff's Dept. and the state's most successful bank robbery crew as the outlaws plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank. Also starring Jordan Bridges, Pablo Schreiber & Evan Jones. In "Insidous: The Last Key", Parapsychologist Dr. Elise Rainier faces her most fearsome and personal haunting yet - in her own family home. Starring Lin Shaye, Leigh Whannell, Angus Sampson & Kirk Acevedo. In "Paddington 2", Paddington, now happily settled with the Brown family and a popular member of the local community, picks up a series of odd jobs to buy the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday, only for the gift to be stolen. Starring Ben Whishaw, Hugh Grant, Hugh Bonneville & Sally Hawkins. In "Forever My Girl", After being gone for a decade a country star returns home to the love he left behind. Starring Alex Roe, Jessica Rothe, John Benjamin Hickey & Abby Ryder Fortson. Finally, in "Proud Mary", Mary is a hitwoman working for an organized crime family in Boston. Mary's life is completely turned around when she meets a young boy whose path she crosses when a professional hit goes awry. Starring Taraji P. Henson, Neal McDonaugh, Danny Glover & Xander Berkeley. Breaking news. Rick Dennison
Mark Vader replied to Chadwick Bay Chad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So are the Bills looking into trading Glenn or will they outright cut him? Sounds like Brown is out of here, and the Bills are just trying to make it sound like they really want him. So if another team signs Brown, the Bills can say, "Oh well, we tried." That surprises me about Cousins. His contract demands will be enormous, but if the Bills think he's worth the money, so be it. I've been saying that Star will be a target since July. -
How about signing Romo AND drafting the future?
Mark Vader replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sure he misses playing the game. It's a rush for players being out there. Having said that, you can hear in his voice that he is enjoying his new career. I just get the feeling on one of his broadcasts he'll start singing....."Turn out the lights, the party's over..." -
There will be turnover on the roster, but I don't see the Bills getting rid of 30 players.

Meet the Bills two 1st round picks!!
Mark Vader replied to Tatonka68's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could you picture McDermott wanting the Bills to run the spread offense? -
Was that the East-West game or the Senior Bowl?
-
So you are expecting the Bills to do the same thing again, during this off season?

Jim Mora Jr talks Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield
Mark Vader replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would be fine with either one. I don't think Rudolph or Allen are Week 1 starters, but they have good potential. I really want to see how Rudolph does in the Senior Bowl. -
Please.....don't remind me of that.

Wow, what a game. Heartbreak city for Georgia.

The 1st and goal throw to benjamin
Mark Vader replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not me! I wanted them to run the ball over and over again. -
How difficult will it be to get back in 2018?
Mark Vader replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Next season will be difficult, but not impossible. There is more likely going to be a lot of turnover on the roster. After all, the Bills signed a bunch of players to 1 year deals, and more likely, most of them will not be back. How the Bills approach free agency and the draft will be vital, of course. However, right now the more important issue to me is, will they keep Dennison as offensive coordinator? Once that is settled, the we can get to roster changes. I would love to have Kyle back, because he is a team leader and he can still play. I feel that we must re-sign E.J. Gaines, even if we have to overspend. I'd welcome back Jordan Matthews, but at a reasonable price. Then there's the all important question of what to do at Quarterback. I think it is safe to say that Tyrod is finished here. The Bills must draft a QB next year, and preferably in the first round. They should also get another QB in free agency, because I can not picture Peterman being next year's starter. We desperately need to get good RB depth. Shady said that he can play until he's 33, and I think we should let him. The guy is a star, and I have yet to see his production greatly drop off. That said, we need much better depth at this position to help out. As for the offensive line, I believe that we need more help at Guard than we do at Tackle. Jordan Mills is nothing special, but he is adequate. The big question is, are we finished with Cordy Glenn? Wide Receiver needs upgrading, but I don't think we should use a high draft pick on one. If we re-sign Matthews, then the idea of having him paired with Benjamin sounds very exciting. I feel that Zay can rebound. Which leaves us with needing a deep threat, unless we decide to keep Thompson. The Tight End position appears to be fine. Unless they decide to do something about Clay's big contract. On the defensive side, it is obvious that DT & LB are the primary needs, and this is where I think we will see major positional moves in free agency and the draft. The secondary is set and just needs depth. There is a lot to be done this off season, and I think that McDermott and Beane will be up to the task. Ending the drought was a major step forward for this new regime, and I think they are capable of keeping the Bills moving forward. Next season will not be easy, but I wouldn't be surprised if we end up in the playoffs again. -
Offseason Discussion: Linebackers
Mark Vader replied to Numark3's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Preston Brown is as good as gone. Another team will give him a big contract. Ramon Humber has played fine, but he's on the wrong side of 30, and Milano has played very good. I would like to keep Lorenzo Alexander. He's a good situational pass rusher and his contract is minimal. I think the Bills will look for Linebackers in both the draft and free agency. -
He started Cyril Richardson over Kraig Urbik. He's still an idiot.

Yannick Ngakoue accuses Incognito of racial slurs
Mark Vader replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeesh! Now all Bills fans are racists. Thanks Yannik! -
Of course I cannot prove that, as it is my own personal opinion. I will say that I felt a lot more comfortable and confident with the Bills running the ball in that situation than I did with the Bills passing it. Fair enough?
-
I agree with you, MAJBobby. The ball should not have been pulled. Yes, 26CB, that would have been the ideal call. Pound that ball 4 straight times, no matter what! If they stop us, well then good for them. Running the ball in that situation would give us a much higher percentace chance of scoring. ShadyBillsFan, if that is the case, then Tyrod mad a terrible decision. Yes, Benjamin is our big target WR, but we were on the 2 yard line! Run the damn ball!

A Few Thoughts About the Jags Game
Mark Vader replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely. Lorenzo Alexander played his best game of the season today. It was great to see him step up in a big way today. Too bad the offense could not reward him for his effort. -
I blame all parties involved. No reason to pass in that situation.
-
There was no good reason for us to pass in that situation. The Jaguars defense was tired and probably demoralized after giving us a free first down on the field goal attempt. We were given a gift by the Jaguars, and we threw it away. Terrible play call. Unacceptable!
