  1. This is where I'm at. Peterman looked alright. He had command of the offense, and I was surprised to see him run with the ball the way he did. The touchdown to Dezmin Lewis was very nice. I also saw Peterman throw 4-5 passes that were behind the receiver, and the receivers bailed him out by still being able to catch them. Also with time running down, he hurried the Bills to get a play off before the 2 minute warning, which lead to a false start. I'm not excited about Peterman, I think his future is as a back-up QB. I am far more intrigued by the QB class in 2018.
  2. Yeah, those uniforms look awful. I like that they are going back to their classic helmet, although I like the yellow horn more than the white one. But keeping their Saint Louis uniforms is just terrible. Maybe they will change before the start of the regular season?
  3. All true. You never know how things are going to turn out. That's just the way it works. I can only go by what I see. And I am comfortable in the idea that next year's QB class is miles ahead of this past years.
  4. Thanks for the extra first round pick, Kansas City.
  5. Of course it all depends on where they pick. Since they have 2 first round picks, that alone should be enough to trade up if need be. They should be able to keep the 2 2nds & 2 3rds. Last year's QB class was not deep. In fact it was a weak class. I know that everything can change, but the potential for the 2018 class could be very special.
  6. I hope that we DON'T have to trade all of that ammo for a franchise QB. 6 picks in the first 3 rounds? I hope we are getting as much talent as we can. Next year's QB class is deep, we can get one and still keep a few picks.
  7. Anyway, I like Jordan Matthews and welcome him to the team. I loved Sammy, but that's how it goes. I hope Matthews has a good season for the Bills. Who knows, if Matthews plays great for us, the Bills might re-sign him when he becomes a free agent.
  8. Breathe, Virgil. Let both the Bills season and college season play out first.
  9. That may be true. Let me just say that I was a fan of Sammy when he was at Clemson, and I wanted the Bills to draft him, even though it seemed unlikely. The trade up did not bother me, because I believed that Sammy could be a star in this league. Unfortunately Sammy got hit with injuries, and nobody can predict injuries. If Beane & McDermott feel that it is not in their best interest to keep Sammy, so be it. I'm so-so on the trade. I'm glad we have an extra 2nd round pick, but I don't really know what to expect from Gaines. As much as I like Jordan Matthews, the Bills are now left with a bunch of possession type of receivers. Sammy was our only real speed threat. So I am puzzled as to what to expect from our WR corps this year.
  10. I don't see it as a tank either. I just think the return for Sammy is underwhelming.
  11. MAJ Bobby, very good write up. I agree with a lot of what you say. Loved seeing Sammy being targeted early. Disappointed that a pass did not go to Zay Jones, but all in due time. Seantrel Henderson had a rough game at LT, I hope he can do a lot better, or put him at RT. Eddie Yarbrough. Wow! Did a great job. It's only one game, but if he keeps this up he will be a valuable addition to the D-Line depth. I did not expect to see the offense move at such a quick pace, but I agree it was great seeing them get to the line with more than 5 seconds on the play clock. I disagree with you on Ragland. He looked alright. Yes, I know with the hype he got coming out of Alabama he should be destroying everything on the field. I just think he's going to need more time to get back into his playing mode. T.J. Yates was uninspiring. Nathan Peterman brought more excitement, and I was impressed by his command of the offense. I didn't expect him to run as much as he did, but he kept the drive going by doing so. He had an impressive night, although 5-6 of his passes were behind the receivers, thankfully the receivers bailed him out by catching them. That touchdown pass to Dezmin Lewis was on the money. Can Lewis finally take the next step from being a preseason star to a regular season star? Tight Ends weren't used much, so hope we get to see more play from them. Jonathan Williams looked fine. Running game looks great. Can't wait to see Shady again. Penalties were a problem, although that pass interference on Elston was BS. It's only the first preseason game, so there is time to correct this problem. Shout out to Max Valles who was putting constant pressure on the QB with the 3rd stringers. Would like to see him get more chances.
  12. WooHoo! It's great to see them back! Enjoy the game everyone. I am going dark. See you tomorrow. GO BILLS!!!
  13. Reggie Ragland. Been waiting a long to see him play. Let's see how he is in an actual game. Zay Jones. Very excited to see what he can do. Tredavious White. The coaching staff is confident in having him be a starting CB. Let's see what he's got. Micah Hyde. Let's see how he does as a starter. I'm sure he will excel, but I'd like to see how he works in this defense. Jordan Poyer. I know he's an underwhelming signing, but I think he could surprise. Jason Croom. He's probably Practice Squad bound, but it sounds like he could be on the roster sometime this season. Andre Holmes. I'm rooting for this guy. Nothing against Rod Streater, I just think Holmes can be a good player for us. Dion Dawkins. I really want him to replace Mills sooner than later. Leonard Johnson. This guy could be vital for us with our secondary depth. Jordan Mudge. If he's good enough to step in front of Vlad Ducasse, I'm fine with that. Jerel Worthy. I believe that he is working his way to becoming an important back-up player. Adolphus Washington. If he is our future replacement for Kyle, he needs to have a big year. Patrick DiMarco & Mike Tolbert. Looking forward to seeing how big the Fullback position will be for us. Austen Rehkow. Do we have a real competition at Punter this year, or is this guy just camp fodder? I'll be paying attention to everyone of course. Tyrod, Sammy, Shady, our LB's, our RB's, our secondary depth. I'm ready to analyze.
  14. Oh man! Wisconsin is cursed. How devastating for this young man.
  15. I want to see how the team carries itself. Seeing how the discipline that McDermott has been preaching has rubbed off on the team. No injuries.
  16. I have my DVR set to record the 1am replay(that's Pacific time) on NFL Network. Then I will get up early Friday morning to watch it. Once the game starts today, I am disconnecting myself from the internet, and I will be completely in the dark and spoiler free. I won't even check to see the final score. It will all be new to me tomorrow morning. GO BILLS!!!
