John Randle played longer than he should have and his play diminished greatly over the last 4-5 years of his career. Not worthy of the Hall. Warren Sapp was a terror in Tampa Bay, then he went to Oakland and did nothing. He does not deserve to be in the Hall.

You are the one who brought up the stats with Bruce Smith & Reggie White. Regardless of that, Kevin Greene was a valuable OLB to the teams he played for, but he was not THE dominant player of the defense. There were many times in games where he was invisible. He was very good, but not enough of a difference maker.

I disagree with you on this one. Aeneas Williams was one of the best CB's to play the game. Personally I think he was better than Deion Sanders. Williams was a difference maker. His biggest problem is that he played for the Cardinals.

I'm probably being too tough on Cortez Kennedy, I know how great he was. I'm more on the fence with him as being in the Hall of Fame. As for John Randle, yes he had his moments, but he really faded the last 4-5 years of his career. I don't think he deserves it. Yes Greene is 3rd all-time in sacks, after that the similarities between him, Bruce & Reggie disappear. Bruce Smith & Reggie White weren't just sack artists, they were dominant defensive ends who were great against the run too. That's why I also think Jason Taylor is not as worthy. I hope you are wrong about "Wonder Woman", it just is not worthy of being nominated. You seem more optimistic about "Logan" getting recognition, than I do. In which case, I hope you are right. I would love to see Hugh Jackman get a Best Actor nomination too, although he might cancel himself out with "The Greatest Showman On Earth" as well.

As for this year, Jason Taylor has no business being a first time ballot entry, he could have waited. In fact you could make a case that Jason Taylor does not deserve to be in the Hall of Fame at all. Terrell Davis & Morten Andersen are not worthy at all. Off topic, I read that Warner Bros. is working on an Oscar push for "Wonder Woman" for Best Picture. I'm sorry, "Wonder Woman" was not THAT good. There is a great deal of overreaction to this movie. I would be very upset if this happened. If there are any comic book movies that deserve to be nominated for Best Picture it would be either, "Logan" or "Spider-Man: Homecoming". They are superior movies.
