  1. Any thoughts on how is this going to pan out for Darby?
  2. Belichick is 51-65 without Tommy Boy, and was 5-11 in his first year in NE with Bledsoe under center. Not saying he's not great, but it's gotta make the game planning a lot easier with that Brady trotting out there every week. May they both die a fiery death together in a single engine plane crash.
  3. We all have friends that are horrible people, cut the guy some slack and measure him on his skill on Sundays!
  4. He would have those guys thinking they were all going to the pro bowl...
  5. For me its the parts in parentheses above that are the key to this whole thing. People that are too lazy to infer them are "outraged by the tire fire". Those that did infer them are not. Its that simple imho.
  6. so a QB in the 1st round every other year makes sense to you? That sounds like the Browns to me. Certainly there can be a middle ground.
  7. He clearly DON'T like Whaley. He clearly DO like him some Frank Reich.
  8. Maybe be was referring to the fact that Rex was cired before the season was over? But really, who cares? Its his job to lie to the press. Faces of organizations lie to the press every minute of everyday. Could he have handled it better? Sure, but only the idiot talking heads and miserable DBs at this place are making a big deal out of it. I would have told them to go @#$% themselves about 2 minutes in, followed by kicking Sully in his old man balls on the way out.
  9. I believe that Whaley wanted Hue, but when it became obvious which way the wind was blowing with TP, he followed it. He'd have been stupid not to, you don't make it to his level without being able to swallow a few pills from the owner. Including the org chart.
  10. He also kidnapped the Lindbergh baby and bombed Pearl Harbor. Neither of which matches up to the sheer horror caused by the formation of Nickelback.
  11. He knows that the under the Rex Ryan era structure both the GM and the head coach report directly to the owner, which is really all that matters to him. As for how he comported himself yesterday, I can tell you from experience that It's not easy getting up in front of that many people and answering the difficult kind of questions that he did. You know, the kind where any answer you provide will be met with scorn and scoff. He did what he is paid to do, and under the circumstances, he did alright.
  12. What is THAT supposed to mean? As for the org chart, I think its pretty clear they do have one. It just may not look the way that you want it to.
  13. Feels like the press is trying to get they Pegulas to have the new HC report to Whaley, so they can burn the whole thing down when it fails.
  14. This is nothing but clickbait for Major Bobbie
  15. You have to read the question in context: "Q: When it comes to a decision on Rex or a coach, do you have a say? Is it Russ? Is it strictly owners? Whaley: There's a process that we have in place, but the ultimate decision lies with ownership." A lot different inference than you got from the tweet...
  16. You must have missed his post that inferred anyone who disagreed with his point of view had a low IQ. The rules of the internet clearly state that anytime you post on a message board calling someone stupid for disagreeing with you, and said post contains spelling and/or grammatical errors, you should be verbally shamed all participating in that thread....
  17. Pretty sure you aren't supposed to huff the whole can in one shot.
  18. If you are getting a 5 out of Cordy at LT, a 2 out of Mills at RT, a 4 out of Kujo at LT, and a 1 out of Kujo at RT, then simple comparative advantage says that if you move Kujo to RT, all you need to get out of Cordy at RT is a 3 to break even, but you'd more likely get a 4 or 5 out of him on the right. It's not the worst idea in the world.
  19. Who is going on a rampage? The guy manages to sell suck year after year, so he's certainly good at that part of the job, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a single poster that wants him actually involved with football decisions. As for being the man behind the curtain, I don't think anyone here really knows what is happening behind the scenes at OBD, but some on this site have the guy sacrificing virgins, and I'm pretty sure Fadingpain produced a fuzzy picture of Russ eating lunch on the grassy knoll next to at Texas school book depository.
  20. He's not going anywhere. Honestly, if the Bills part ways with the Ryans, I see them bringing back Scwhartzy as Head Coach and promoting Lynn to Assistant Head Coach. That is the Billsy thing to do, no?
  21. Some teams do it, but I think it's usually only for premier players.
  22. I feel like their college scouts whiff a lot, but maybe that is just me being a hater.
