  1. That was the same issue had in Charlotte to. Opposite side for replays AND in the sun and this was mid September. Actually was a cool day for September in Charlotte only upper 80's or so. but full sun. Had club level seats so watched more than half the game inside in AC. That was Mc'd first year, Bills almost pulled out a win by Zay Jones dropped his first potential TD pass a Bill in the last minute. The home team, is on the shade side from what I can tell in Jacksonville, plus this is November. I'm guessing that's the camera side, but not certain.
  2. Does anyone know for certain which side of the field the replay cameras at the jag's stadium are shot from? (visiting or home side?) I went to a Bills game couple years back in Charlotte and my seats were on the opposite side of the field as the replay camera angle was from and it drove me crazy watching all the replays on the large screen in the endzone from the opposite viewpoint of when I'm looking at the field. Looking into getting tickets for the Bills game down there, but want to be on the same side as the replays are shot from.
  3. Just curious as to where or how you saw video of what was done in mini camp? Was there detailed columns or video posted someplace? I'm not a big X and O's guy so if there were links here to the video or some in depth technical column, likely I'd have skipped looking at that anyway. I do wonder if that will be different this year and go with 3 true RB's and either Jones or a Kumerow more as a ST guy. Would seem to make more sense to have Kumerow in that role as could also fill role as extra WR if needed as we appear to be more of a passing team than running. Maybe instead of 3rd QB will go go with extra RB being active as Berida does provide a different role with speed. I fixed your post for you!
  4. My god, we need to start rioting in the streets! This is outrageous. We all need to stop attending games until the media takes us serious, boycott the stadium. Lets show them we mean business!
  5. Wow only one reception for Kumerow and it went for a TD! I do wonder if part of the Ertz talks heating back up are due to Beasley possibly not being a reliable option. Maybe then they'd go with Diggs, Sanders, Ertz, and Knox, more 2 TE sets. Plus still have Davis and McKenzie in their bag of tricks.
  6. Am aware, but does make me wonder if someone who has the money they have will find away around that. They are going over to dig a new gas well!! Actually do wonder what are the rules around family members and minors. Many of these participants are only in their teens, some early teens. Do they still live in the Olympic village on their own?
  7. Think the jet is going to be heading to Japan to watch their daughter in the Olympics
  8. Well your original post was: "I don’t see Knox ever becoming what we hoped for him to be. Time to move on." To me that meant you've given up on him and see little chance of improvement. I do agree in that if he doesn't show improvement this season, then yes move on. I'm fine with Ertz coming in or Henry, but also not ready to completely give up on Knox yet either.
  9. Agree with the mental part, but would want to give him one more full year. He's really not had any TE's here to learn from that were good pass catching role models like what Etrz would bring and came from a college team that rarely used the TE when he was there. If they had signed Olson last year, they would have had one there.
  10. He has the physical skill set that only a handful of TE's in the league possess. He also played in an offense in college that hardly used the TE so he's still very raw but to me you hate to give up on those skills. Add in the injuries, Covid, I'd be very reluctant to give up on him now. You say draft a TE next year. Agree there, if there's little to no improvement this season from him, then wouldn't argue with moving on, but would like to see 3 full seasons prior.
  11. Actually was about 1/3 of the way into his 3rd season when they traded him. Plus wasn't there some issue that happened that prompted the sudden departure. Gave up on a play or something
  12. It certainly is a position they could improve on. To me it says we're bringing in another TE who's still likely pretty good, but is approaching the end of his career. If Knox does show good improvement, keep him and let Ertz go in 1 to 2 years. If there's still no improvement this year from Knox, then agree time to move on.
  13. Sure, If you want to say he's struggled, hasn't looked good, etc, that's fine, but when you say "time to move on" you're saying my opinion is I'm smarter than the coaches. You very well may be right as more players fail than succeed overall, but if we were to move on from every player after 2 years who's struggled, we'd be back to being a bad team again
  14. Two years including a bunch of time where was out injured or Covid and you're ready to move on. Allen looked just as bad his 1st two years, probably worse as rookie than Knox looked. Did you want to move on then to? Amazes me the number of people who post on message board that can evaluate talent better than full time coaches and GM's!
  15. We do have a surplus on both lines. Maybe i doesn't involve Addison, but could involve player for player and a lower pick. Stranger things have happened.
  16. Hey at least he got an acceptance letter to attend. Better than that Tebow guy!
  17. And not having Star in front of him and Oliver played the first part of the season with a somewhat banged up leg.
  18. This is like Deja Vu all over again as this was also just discussed in an article in today's Athletic. Basically stating the same thing that the issue wasn't all on the RB's. As far as upgrading the interior, wonder how much of season was Mongo not back to full strength, Morse and Ford were both out some too. They did draft a guard and signed a fairly highly thought of FA backup guard so maybe they are expecting more.
  19. Surprised they rated Sirianni above Salah as everyone seems to be in love with Saleh and he was the sexy hire this season.
  20. Kind of interesting when you read about the AAFC, 3 teams went to the NFL, Cleveland the most famous but believe also Baltimore and San Fran and the LA team merged with the LA Rams of the NFL. Buffalo almost made it instead of Baltimore, but the size of the city and the weather worked against them *sounds familiar) in deciding.
  21. Did anyone here if he graduated? Unlike Tebow, at least he got an acceptance letter!
  22. While I remember the movie and the whole concept, eventually the one who fought it the most got converted, but don't recall any of the lines or even who was in it. Guess I was too busy watching some of the characters in action.
  23. I've often said with the speed of the game increasing all around and coaching staffs spending all year working on new schemes and wrinkles defenses getting better all around, the league needs Stepford QB's. Of course they'll want to eventually marry, but there's already an answer there for that.
  24. Just change the first two words in your title from "Subjectively Speaking" to "Wishful Thinking" and no one can argue with anything you say. Everything you say could happen, but based on everything seen to date it's 100% based on hope. I do agree Basham will have some impact as a rookie and he may become elite in 3 to 4 years, but expecting that to happen as a rookie is just laughable. Bruce Smith was far far from elite as a rookie. Oliver too could have a very good season, maybe even elite, but still somewhat of a stretch at this point based on everything seen. I do agree with one thing you stated that Star would be gone already if it were possible. But then you state: "our Achilles heel last year will now become the heart and soul of this team’s defense" The problem is none of the guys you mention play his position and fill his role on the defense. The one player you don't mention at all is Phillips which is kind of ironic as he's the one guy who could take Star's spot and likely was drafted with that intention, but with his injury 2 years ago, so far we haven't seen that. If that were to happen and Oliver does become the star player he was drafted to be, AND Addison plays at a better level than last season, then maybe the D line overall could become very good to great and a strength of the team this year as the one thing I do think this years team has over 2013 and maybe most teams in the league now is depth. Our backups can beat their backups!
