I’ve been seeing a certain photo circulating social media that tries to disprove that Allen got the first. They took an early frame where you could see the ball was short and used that as evidence, never mind the fact that his momentum had not come to a stop. Just found a funny video that shows us what we already knew: both the 3rd and the 4th downs were spotted short. Such a crucial drive where any points could’ve meant the world for the guys in blue and red. First Down, Buffalo

In fairness, how do you know we didn’t? I guess if you’re arguing from the defensive side, I would agree, but offensively we did score 4 TDs and a FG, same as KC.

Mahomes has a little something extra that I can’t qualify or quantify. He’s the most clutch QB I ever remember playing, even more so than Brady. If you needed a drive to end with a TD and your literal life depended on it, I would choose Mahomes to get it done. Our guy is great and has been let down by his teammates, but still I can’t ignore how that side of the ball hasn’t been able to capitalize on their opportunity to take the lead aside from the :13 game. And we all know who the other QB was that drove 45 yards in 9 seconds (yes, the Bills defense made it easy on him).

The position would be beneath him. Offensive and defensive quality control coaches are akin to interns learning the ins and outs of their new prospective job. They work very hard for very little, they’re the lowest positions on the staff.

Kincaid will be fine, he’ll be going home with his millions and maybe a smoking hot chick on his arm, while “all y’all will be going back to your little jobs.”

I thought he was nervous at the start, even Romo said his play was likely due to nerves. Once he settled in he was money, unfortunately against a team like the Chiefs, he needed to come out guns blazing, surgical. He wasn’t at his best the whole game, but his play was good enough to win. We needed the defense and others around him to raise their level, but stop me if you’ve heard this before.

Mike Gesicki would’ve made that catch and we wouldn’t have had to sacrifice a 1st and a 4th to have him on the team.

Watching the sideline fall apart after Kincaid’s 4th down drop was tough. They just knew he had the catch.

Von had a nice spin move on one play, but that’s about all I remember.

I’ll base it on how KC performs, since both teams are similar, but I think it would’ve been a close, hard fought game with the Bills prevailing. Eagles aren’t better than the Ravens. Actually wouldn’t have mind losing to the Ravens if we were just going to lose to the Chiefs again. Next year is a long way away, sigh.

Desperation will always bite you. Off the top of my head, CBs to go after Elam were Kyle Gordon (2nd), Cam Taylor-Britt (2nd), Deron Bland (4th), Tyrique Woolen (5th), and Jaylen Watson (7th). McDuffie wasn’t the last good CB. Bet there’s more I’m missing too.

You can see why Spags blitzes are so effective. Seven players on the LoS, Josh thought the blitzer was coming from his left and two came from the right. Protection was slid the wrong way, Edwards didn’t even have anyone to block. Well schemed. I wonder if we ran an aggressively creative scheme like it, could we stop Mahomes like Spags stopped Brady?

I want to see him coming into camp next year looking jacked up. He needs to work on his body and strength and needs to spend hours catching from the JUGs machine, mainly diving type of catches since those are the ones he seems to keep dropping. Buyers remorse, wish we could get a redo on the Elam and Kincaid picks. Those 2 missed first round draft picks could be contributing meaningful minutes.

Funny thing is I bet Ty Johnson would’ve caught the pass Kincaid dropped and he wasn’t drafted to be a receiving tight end. Kincaid blows.

I figured that KC offense had to regress back to the mean of the season. They aren’t THAT good.

Chiefs would be 4/4 TD drives if. It for the fumble. The defense can’t stop a nosebleed, it’s always Jeckyll and Hyde in the regular season versus the playoffs, can’t ever get stops. I’d say the Chiefs have to regress back to their mean of the season and at least punt a couple times this half, but I’ve seen nothing so far that gives me that optimism.

It is pretty Jeckyll and Hyde the regular season defense versus playoff defense.

I’m actually fine with it for a QB, really the only position - even though you might not hit on the best one. If you don’t have a QB in today’s NFL, you can’t compete, so I understand going up to get the guy you believe in.
