  1. Don't you realize C.Biscuit? Stevie Johnson would catch every single pass that came his way if he shaved his head clean, didn't twitter, or didn't write on his shirt with a marker!!! No one has yet to explain to me why twitter can be blamed for a player making mistakes, but that same player having a facebook account or playing a video game or reading a newspaper or sending a text message or taking a dump cannot be blamed.
  2. Carolina goes to Atlanta in the finale, where Atlanta can possibly have the division and homefield advantage wrapped up already and nothing to play for.
  3. Twobillsdrive: running 1st round picks out of town since 2001.
  4. This isn't a homework assignment, is it?
  5. You guys do realize that fumbling is one negative that can be easily corrected with coaching, don't you? I'm all for pulling him off of returns until he decides to hang onto the ball, but calling for him to be cut is idiotic. As for his coverage skills, every CB has bad games now and then. It happens.
  6. The fact that it is just occurring to the players now that they need to prepare for a work stoppage shows just how !@#$ed they really are. The owners are going to bend them over and give it to them dry before all of this is said and done. Its kinda like telling someone to go buy a shovel after the snow has started falling. But, why the NFLPA would decide now to stop negotiating is beyond me.
  7. Great post. Jim Leonard, while a nice player, greatly benefits from having played on some phenomenal defenses. In Buffalo, he struggled because he was actually asked to make plays and carry a big load. He appears to succeed in Baltimore and on the Jets, because he's probably the 9th or 10th biggest threat on the starting 11 of each of those squads.
  8. And if you paid any attention at all, you'd realize that the Buccs started off terrible last season (0-7) and then 1-12. But, they really started playing better towards the end of the season, acquired some more talent, and are playing some good football this season. Sounds like the current Bills team no? And before you whine about Ralph, the Glazers are worse owners than he is.
  9. XKCD had a good one today for all of the science dorks out there... http://xkcd.com/829/
  10. There are roughly 9600 division 1 football players, and only 250 will get drafted. Thats 2.6%. What are the other 97.4% supposed to do when the NCAA is done with them and they have no future in football? Count their minimum wage paychecks they're going to earn because the NCAA and colleges make it nearly impossible to earn an actual degree that will benefit them in the future?
  11. I'm stupidly excited too. But lets face it, no Bills team has played with this much fire and emotion and has been this much fun to watch since the 6 game winning streak in 2004.
  12. I find it hilarious that the conference TCU is moving to is barely above their current one when it comes to talent, yet it will all of a sudden provide an unbeaten TCU next season a shot as a "legit" contender from a "BCS" conference. You know the NCAA is hoping and praying for both an unbeaten Auburn-Oregon championship*, with Oregon winning by 3 so they won't have egg on their face when Auburn eventually has to vacate all their wins for this season.
  13. Yeah, i'm sure this decision was competely on the up and up. No way either of these places greased any palms or bought any votes.
  14. Ward is just pissed because he's no longer allowed to make cheap, blindside crackback shots on unsuspecting defenders in effort to protray himself as a tough guy. If there was ever a real fight, Ward would probably punch someone in the back of the head and curl up in the fetal position when someone actually faced him.
  15. Regardless of stats, anyone who has watched the games (without an agenda) can easily see Donte is playing much better this season in our new defense. He's around the ball and in on almost every tackle, he's made some great hits to separate receiver and ball, and he's been in the backfield making some plays as well off of the blitz.
  16. Well, to be fair, the Buccs are beating the teams they shoudl beat.
  17. We had to put down our 15 year old lab over the summer. Its tough no matter what you do. Our neighbor is a vet so she came over and did it. Took the dog for 1 final walk and then had her lay down in her bed while it happened, so she was comfortable and in familiar environment. This way she wasn't scared or nervous. If you can do it, i'd say be in there with them, to comfort them and keep them from being afraid.
  18. What i found a bit outlandish was that in FoxSports power rankings was that the Bills lose a game they rightfully should have won against the 8-3 steelers and drop a spot (ok in my book), while the cardinals get stomped by the hapless 49ers yet move UP 2 spots in the rankings.
  19. Lets also not forget (and others have mentioned this previously) that coming into this season, Fitzpatrick only had 23 starts. Even after this season he'll have basically 2.5 seasons of starting, so it is entirely possible that Fitz has been absorbing the game and developing and is finally getting his first chance to showcase what he can do. Going back to the draft pick perspective...Assume the Bills drafted Fitz as a rookie in 2008 (since he barely played in 2005-7), and then take a look at his stastical and career trajectory since then. It mirrors that of a younger QB who struggled a bit in his first 2 seasons and then had the light really come on. Also, on a side note, If Fitz turns into a great QB, does everyone's favorite whipping boy, Russ Brandon, get credit for uncovering him since he was the GM when we signed Fitz?
  20. Last time i checked, Santa delivered Christmas gifts, not Jesus or God.
  21. 500 other defenders aren't pieces of **** that lead with the crown of their helmet and aim for the opposing player's head on almost every hit.
  22. My memory is a bit shoddy, but could you remind me what the Bills record was in 2002 and 2004?
  23. Please explain how an interview during the week or a twitter message affects his ability to catch a ball on sunday.
  24. Well, we can add some new ones to the list: Reasons why Stevie dropped the TD: 1. He twitters 2. His haircut 3. He wrote on his shirt with a marker
