Ramius replied to Gotta Dream's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Now thats just mean. But LA would be proud. -
What a bunch of fuggin pansies. heres gene upshaw..."waaah, i'm taking ym ball and going home." then 5 minutes later. "Can you guys play tomorrow?" Fugg Gene Upshaw (mostly), and fugg the high revenue owners.

What happens to us if Cutler goes first?
Ramius replied to ndirish1978's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ryan Fitzpatrick also threw 5 interceptions in one game. a lot of good 50% completion percentage does when you throw 4 TD and 8 INT over the 4 games you play in. Also, with your little anti-losman/completion % crusade, you say that he cant maintain a 50% completion percentage. Funny how you neglect to point out that losman got increasingly better over the second part of the season compared to the first. He completeed 47% in his first 4 games, and 51% in his last 5. Taking away the new englnd debacle, his completion % over 4 games, KC, SD, Car, and Mia is 54%. But you've got it in your head that JP losman sucks, so according to you, the losman of the 1st 4 games is the true losman. Never mind the fact that he made some good strides in the second half of the season. And where was holcomb? oh thats right. Completing a 2 yard pass on 4th and 7. Who cares that he gave us no chance to make the first down, he completed his pass and padded his stats. Christ, you with completion % are just like holcombs arm with QB rating. -
I dont agree with this at all. Sure it saves us some space this year, and prolly next year, with a reasonable number like 15,000. But what happens when the restructuring catches up with us, and we are left with a bloated AD post count of 40,000. Thats a lot of dead post space that we will hafta eat.

Ramius replied to Lori's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dont knock king. i think he's a good QB, and he never got a fair shot in TB. They were always looking to replace him. -

Hotter: Nick Lachey's ex-wife or new gf?
Ramius replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd take the new girlfriend...only if she comes with 2 paper bags. 1 for me in case the bag on her head breaks. Jess all the way. -
No Puhonix isnt representing me, but i have no desire to play under the one year RFA offer than i was tendered. I want to extend my contract long term. I'd like to stay with TSW, but i would explore options if TSW doesnt have the desire to re-up long term with me. I dont think i am being unreasonable. 5 years, 12.5 thousand posts with a 3,000 post signing bonus is about market value for a poster of my caliber. Its actually slightly less than market value, but i'd be wiling to give a hometown discount.

I would like to contact you to extend my rookie contract, and i would also like to move up the depth chart for training camp.

Man do i HATE the casaya tribe. The whole lot of them save bruce. I really hope shane gets the boot next week, he's about worthless, not to mention its only a matter of time before he goes after someone and physically assaults them. Long live LaMina! -
I liked birk's stance, especially on the topic of rookie contracts. No way in hell these guys who have done nothing soudl make 50 mil while a vet that has made this his living for 10 years shoudl be forced to take the minimum of be cut. The NFL needs a hard cap on rookie salaries just like the NBA. (Which is about the only thing the NBA does right.)
-
I heard there were some troubles in the posting negotiations with AD's agent and that he has been slapped with the franchise tag. Any truth to this rumor?
-
The whole purpose of the bonus is to force the team to re-work the contract when ti gets to that point. It essentially forces the hand of the team. Griese signed a similar type of deal with miami a few years back. His first years salary was like 1 mil, then had a bonus of 8 mil, basically forcing the fins to either start him of ditch him so he'd have a chance elsewhere. McNair's sounds similar.

Actually, the NFLPA blinked. I seem to remember a few days ago that Upshaw said "Free agency will nto be delayed" Sounds like he's submitting.

When will the Cdn $ surpass the US $?
Ramius replied to Hardy Pyle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This means the prices of lap dances are going up! -
I can do this too. Ramius is reporting that Eric Moulds may or may not be with the Bills next season. In all likelihood, if the team doesnt cut him, he will play for them next season.

Anyone else wonder where on the island or airplane claire found the eyeliner and makeup for yesterdays episode. Libby, danielle and kate looked normal, claire looked all done up.
-
Comtemplate this: the owners DO have a plan and are trying last minute to force the players hand to agree to the new deal under the owners terms. Owners are saying 56%, players are saying 60%. The players wont budge. By the owners "not agreeing" they are telling the players "agree or be cut and make no more than the vet minimum" This might be a conspiracy theory, but who knows
-
Translation: Travis is going to bend over backwards, because he knows the titans will cut him if he doesnt restructure, and with the flooded market of RB's this offseason, he would make nothing more than the vet minimum as a backup RB somewhere.
-
I think it means that we have 20 million in cap space, 8 of which is dead cap, leaving us with 12 million in "working" cap space. But, i could be wrong.

Now that Adams is gone - Why do we take Ngata?
Ramius replied to firstngoal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
FWIW, Bunkley set the FSU record for tackles for a loss over his career down here. The guy is a beast and fast as hell to boot. The guy was always in the backfield. -
From T-bone? I onyl ask, because its physically impossible for anyone to give T-bone a reacharound.

Goodbye Eric. Thanks for your time here as a Bill. I'll hafta retire my old #80 jersey now. Best $30 i ever spent.

He IS a FA, but they slapped the transition tag on Foster... -
Thats our starting lineup because we arent going to sign anyone in FA or there isnt a draft of anything happening before the start of the season.
