I had a dream the other night that the Bills traded up several spots for Hyatt - with several other top receivers on the board still - in part because they were worried the Chiefs were targeting him. Take that for what it’s worth.

Bryce Young is going to be a fantastic case study. He is too slight to play the position as it's traditionally understood. But he's also maybe the fastest processor the position has ever seen. He's legitimately a savant of some kind - off the charts smarts, anticipation and intangibles. I too am glad I'm not the GM having to pick him, but as a fan I am excited to root for the kid.

Beane's mentee Schoen just paid $8M for one year of A'Shawn Robinson, so the apple/tree/fall thing...

Last year’s draft was a misfire. They clearly approached the draft with a “shopping list” of positions they felt they needed to shore up to make a Super Bowl run. It was Beane’s first ever draft in that type of situation - 13 seconds away from a title if you will - and instead of sticking to his board with discipline he overdrafted specific positions of need for the 2022 roster, only. My prediction is that within a few years we will look back at that draft as a complete fail.

Would not be at all surprised by Bresee or Mazi (Star) Smith. They simply do not trust their ability to evaluate talent on offense.

Definitely a lot of Diggs in those highlights, with some Deebo mixed in.

If the draft falls this way I don’t know who in the room is going to talk McBeane out of Mazi Smith - they simply won’t be able to help themselves.

Yet look at all the action it’s gonna spur on here - Florio is good at what he does. Also - his stories are often based on tips/prods from agents. He’s usually not the first to spark the smoke.

This is not true at all. Philips may have the body type of a run stuffer but that’s never been his game, he’s a penetrator/passrusher. Oliver is a far better run stopper despite being smaller.
