A Few Thoughts about the Pats Game - Post yours as well
Coach Tuesday replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
My thoughts: 1. The two young coordinators let the team down last night. McD confirmed (angrily) that the first fumble legitimately was supposed to be a handoff to Knox - it wasn’t clear to me at the time but they actually did call that play. Terrible. And Babich is constantly being out-maneuvered by opposing OCs, it has happened in nearly every game this season. 2. Diggs is still living rent-free in Josh’s head. Zero coincidence to me that Josh reverted to hero ball during a prime time game where Diggs was balling out on the other sideline. 3. Hilarious to me that McD is on the Competition Committee - that’s two weeks in a row where he’s been totally vexed and infuriated with the officiating. Last week he didn’t think they were honoring substitution rules, this week they only called penalties on the Bills in the first half then let Gonzalez get away with a blatant PI to basically kill the final drive. If anything the refs seem to be biased against McD and it used to be the thinking that getting onto the CC would at least help ensure a neutrally called game. -

The entire offensive structure is designed to protect the defense from having to be on the field. The entire draft and free agent approach is designed to protect the defense. It has to stop.- 784 replies

Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF

This is exactly how I see it. The Pats see this as a prime time statement game coming out party. They will be energized and physical. Vrabel will sprinkle in a fake punt or field goal or something like that to try and take advantage of a sleepy and reactive Bills team. Game could easily come down to a last-second field goal/attempt. -

Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?

Madibuke is out for the season. Huge loss for them. KC is now the main foe for 2025. -

Not only that he cannot throw in poor weather conditions. He will never win in January. -
No you were not.

Have you ever messed up your ankle? Best thing to do is leave it alone for as long as possible.

I’m no psychologist but I suspect he may have severe social anxiety.

Beane does not get enough credit (by me and others) for what he has done to build the line. It was a mess when Allen was a rookie but it is now really good, and they have depth, plus a top tier line coach.

Just a dolphin, ma’am.

Not just looking like a real QB - their offense is EXACTLY what Mara thought they could have with Jones and Barkley, except it's Jones and Jonathan Taylor, with an ex-Eagles coach helming the ship no less. It's hilarious to think about how infuriated Mara must be with Schoen and Daboll watching what is going on in Indy right now. With competent coaching and a decent offensive line, they could at least be competitive with Jones and Barkley and that front seven on D.

The Kelvin Sheppard thread...
Coach Tuesday replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was always a cerebral player, albeit an ineffective one. Not dissimilar to Terrell Bernard in that the Bills were hoping he'd outperform his athletic testing due to his instincts and leadership (team captain at LSU etc.). Just didn't happen in the NFL but not surprised he's a good coach now. As I said in another thread I'd expect Bernard to be a coaching candidate someday. -
This was all so predictable before the season - and then heading into last week's game, we just knew Wilson would have a meltdown against the Spags defense. I really think Daboll is toast if they don't see immediate progress from the offense.

He is an all-time jerk.
