This is a very stubborn group at OBD. They stick with crappy punters, guards, linebackers, defensive ends, etc., despite all the evidence one needs that these players can’t play. They would rather lose their way than win someone else’s way.
Should we be worried about the Dolphins? They’re a sneaky good team and I could see Tua suddenly adding that missing element to their offense. I could also see the Dolphins surging into first place in the AFCE if the Bills falter.
They'll have to eat some salary to move him. I wonder if Terry is keeping track of the amount of his money Beane has wasted on guys like Corey Coleman, Murphy, etc.
No comparison. Travis Henry had more than one gear, he could actually accelerate. Watching Moss run into wide open space was depressing, he started slowing down after 5 yards of running. He’s either out of shape or he just cannot hit NFL-level speed. I like the Idea of Zach Moss more than the Actual Moss. A bruising, pass-catching dynamic running back sounds great. So far it’s not Moss.
I'd be somewhat (but not totally) surprised to see him dealt to an AFC team. Not sure Pittsburgh really plays enough man coverage for the fit to make sense.
That's probably right. I keep forgetting that he only has 1 year left on his mega deal. Time has really flown!
Seahawks and 49ers may create a bidding war between them.
Per Albert Breer:
2) At two different junctures this year—before the draft and toward the start of camp—the Patriots had discussions with other teams about a potential Stephon Gilmore trade. Would New England revisit that now? It seems increasingly likely that he could be elsewhere in 2021, so exploring the idea again, with the team at 2–4, wouldn’t be unheard of.
3) A fact I picked up doing research for my Sunday shows on NBC Sports Boston about a Gilmore trade: Ten players have been dealt for a first-round pick or a first-rounder-plus since April 2018. All 10 of those players were 27 or younger at the time of the deal.

Breer is very plugged in and doesn’t post stuff like this unless there’s real legs to it... wonder what the thinking is? I guess it must be that they’re rebuilding so it doesn’t make sense to be paying top dollar for a defensive back?
