The Bills and Patrick Mahomes

Is this sarcasm? Mahomes is very possibly on his way to GOAT status. Nothing lucky about missing out on him.- 238 replies

You’re on a real roll today with these threads. What time will your “Duke Williams: Forgotten Man?” thread drop? -
Joshs development has been amazing

Tonight is making me remember that Jared Goff is in that conversation. He almost bombed out of the league his first year and made the Pro Bowl in year 2. -
He is a good technician and a great athlete but he seems to lack the physique required for the sport.

My opening statements are astonishingly good. That is all. -
The future for both parties and realignment

Estonia may be the closest. And before you chuckle, they are way ahead of the game in terms of incorporating technology to enhance individual freedoms. Want to see major demographic shifts in voting? Let people vote from their iPhones. They also have become a real hub for startups - a Silicon Valley of Eastern Europe. -

And you could say the exact same thing about Democrats, for years they’ve pretended to push progressive policies to favor the lower class but instead have enriched corporations, elites, and the bureaucratic lifers. Libertarianism produces harsh results but it might be the Least Worse Option. And it’s a coherent set of principles - to quote Walter Sobchak, “At least it’s an ethos.” -

If the GOP embraces classical liberalism they’ll get my vote again. Unfortunately I think libertarianism is becoming less and less mainstream and I don’t see any way Republicans can cement a majority by promising to cut social security, open the borders and abolish trade restrictions. That would be a 180-degree flip from the Trump populist platform. And I’ll add - libertarianism and “states rights” don’t really coexist. Most of the GOP base believe strongly that states should have the power to enact their own broad restrictions on liberty (drug laws, abortion laws, voter qualification requirements etc.). That is directly at odds with true libertarianism. -
Hear me out: We could very well win out

Ah yes, the annual "Here me out" thread. Alpha was a real darkhorse candidate in this year's pool. I had half my chips on T Master and the rest on Barbarian. Darn it. -
What am I projecting? I just asked a question about the thread title, and that pompous geezer who punishes all of us because he’s mad at his communist sister called me stupid. I mean it is time for bed for me, I agree with that much. I’ve got plenty of faults but stupidity isn’t near the top of that list.

You don’t sound too improved, sewer king. And some of your followers around here sound totally unglued, like they’re one DV call away from suicide by cop.

Knox is a terrible football player. He seems to be one of those million dollar body, ten cent head type of dudes. Just lacks the right amount of focus and instincts for the sport. It’s why he did nothing in college and why he continues to squander his opportunities here. Also seems like he may be a knucklehead. Let’s be honest, if you got to place a bet before the season on the two players most likely to get themselves onto the COVID list, wouldn’t Knox and Norman have been the frontrunners? Knuckleheads.

Really good takes here. The difference in penalties and tackling between the two teams was stark. I gotta give McD and Frazier credit for getting the backups ready to play but the missed tackles has been a problem all season, and the penalties reflect a disturbing lack of attention to detail. And totally agree that the production crew and the refs seemed off, kind of like Allen seemed off, something about this game was just bizarro. Weird spots, incorrect down and distance calls, etc. Just one of those shoes where the dealer keeps hitting miraculous 21s after flashing a 5, sometimes you just gotta cash in what’s left of your chips and call it a night.

Things Trump should de-clasify on the way out.

It’s funny, 2020 was so crazy that people missed the fact that the government DID admit to contact with UFOs (not aliens, but UFOs). Google it, the videos are kinda nuts, the Air Force pilots who interacted with the objects are adamant that they are not technology that presently exists. Oh please. The 911 files? Why, to show that it was an inside job with the help of Mossad? Anyone who actually believes that should [self-censored to avoid being banned].
