  1. This would be a great week for Bosa to step up, if he’s healthy and comfortable as it appears. Early season is when I expect him to shine.
  2. It would be like calling a fake punt Damar Hamlin running play in the playoffs…
  3. Yeah if the defense is mostly healthy later in the season but still completely ineffectual then you've got a referendum situation. I cannot get too fired up about Week 1.
  4. In Babich’s presser he was clearly not thrilled with how Bernard played, and said he was thinking too much instead of flowing downhill. FWIW.
  5. They didn’t just extend him they made him co-captain with Josh. They are all in on the guy.
  6. Jones put up a lot of bad tape on Sunday night - hopefully he's not washed.
  7. Agree with these but Henry WAS careless. He should've been cradling the ball with two hands at that point in the game. He was still looking to stiff-arm. Bad situational football.
  8. Update: you were spot on and he did not handle it well when it got real. Both QBs flashed at times but have long ways to go. The NFC North is a really interesting division this year.
  9. Meanwhile McCarthy looks deer-in-headlights and is still only able to throw heaters.
  10. That’s the one.
  11. Did anyone else think that the throw to Hawes was the Jake Kumerow Pass?
  12. He did indeed and it was a BRUTAL mistake, he blocked outside instead of inside, he failed blocking 101. Hamilton had such a free and clear path that it looked like he hesitated and tried to time his jump, then somehow the ball went UNDER his arm. But Deone Walker must have known right away that he was about 1 inch away from being blamed for an EPIC almost-win-loss.
  13. McD executed the last few minutes of both halves very well IMO.
  14. The most amazing “what if” to me is what if Alexander doesn’t trip Keon and he scores with 35 seconds or so left on the clock? Does Lamar lead his offense all the way down the field for a last-second touchdown attempt? Does the Bills’ D pull out a clutch stop?
  15. I mean - thank you Alexander for tripping Coleman on his way to a quick score because I didn’t want to see Lamar get the football back. They are both elite.
  16. Someone post us the locker room speech
  17. Allen, Oliver, Coleman, Cook. Cook is the outlier but I thought he ran almost every play perfectly and in some cases overcame a bad play situation. He looked pretty elite tonight.
  18. And Cook. That’s it.
  19. Coleman getting tripped on the last drive…
  20. The problem with this game is that the Ravens are clearly a better football team almost on every level.
  21. Well, Dunne put out Part 3 today and that’s basically his exact conclusion - that the problems really start and stop at Halas Hall.
  22. My thoughts exactly. Maybe one time try it the other way Brandon?
  23. Yup I read that last week - good stuff.
  24. So you could be right and my hypothesis is if you are he will face consequences. We will see. 32 sources is 32 sources, he’s at least presenting it as real journalism (your point about peer review is a fair one, don’t know what his process is as a solo but you’d hope he vets it past colleagues in some form), some of the specific events he talks about either did or did not happen and if they didn’t, he’ll be destroyed. If they did, not sure how they can be explained away. If Caleb routinely skips film study and prep sessions and turns and walks back onto the field while his coach is instructing him during games, there may not be a lot of help from “other perspectives.”
