  1. Interesting indeed… @Kirby Jackson what are your thoughts? Could this have been a moving part in the talks that you know about? Could it have hinged on the Jags getting another receiver to fill the void of moving BTJ?
  2. If Kirby Jackson says there are discussions you can take it to the bank. Kirby has the goods… FACT!
  3. You are spot on. YE OLE has not been a fire McDermott guy, like many here, but this has been a hallmark of his teams. It even predates Josh. The 2017 team that broke the drought went on that streak where they gave up 135 points over 3 games and looked like the worst team in the league by a mile. It’s like clockwork gents… the defense blows, Josh looks slow and we speculate he has an injury, the offense can’t move the ball, we call some stupid trick plays that blow up in our face, etc. In a few weeks Josh will resume throwing lasers and running away from everyone, the defense will ascend to some form of mediocrity, and we will win a bunch of games by a wide margin.
  4. Bills Parcells and Buffalo Bill Cowher would have definitely hoisted the Lombardi here by now, gents!
  5. It’s not out of the realm of possibility for us to lose this game, but some people are acting like this is some kind of uphill battle and the *Patriots are some juggernaut.
  6. McBeane seems to like the cut of Ciarlo’s jib, judging from what we saw in the preseason and Hard Knocks.
  7. What's good, gents? What's good? Excellent points here across the board from our good friend billsfan89. Josh has played well, but perhaps not eye popping stats as you say. Right now, if he stays on the current pace, he'd finish with something that looks like 4,097 yards passing, 30 TD's, 5 INT's and 676 yards rushing + 13 rushing TD's. That breaks down to 4773 total yards and 43 total TD's and 5 INT's. Is that stat line enough to get a second MVP? If the team finishes somewhere around 14-3 or better and locks up the 1 seed with those numbers, it seems reasonable. What say you?
  8. What’s good, gents? What’s good? YE OLE is sitting at the airport waiting to fly home from “high level business meetings” and upon clicking this thread, Mr Brightside started playing simultaneously throughout the airport. Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” came on next… FACT
  9. Maine-iac you are spot on per usual! Donahoe got a first from Atlanta for Price that offseason sparking Jim Brinson to go on the air and dub him “THE SHREWD DUDE.”
  10. YE OLE fondly remembers an interview that offseason with BIG MIKE. He was asked to describe his play style. He said something to the effect of “I get a hold of that guy across from me and they’re like ‘no BIG MIKE don’t do it’ but I tell them ‘sorry I gotta do it… and I drive em down into the turf’ “
  11. So sorry to hear this. RIP flaz.
  12. Would they dare upset the apple cart of Mr. UNLIMITED by bringing in his heir apparent? That will be a scene a man! And as the kids say YE OLE is here for it!
  13. Bills/Chiefs 4:25 on CBS is a tradition unlike any other… FACT!
  14. What’s good, gents? What’s good? It’s all speculation until someone actually sees this Asante fellow at Tempo with George Seifert.
  15. It was definitely scary. He looked completely out of it.
  16. Agreed… the defense is never good enough in these spots. But, Allen didn’t play his best in any of the playoff games, and as you said he looked like 2019 Josh at the beginning of the game. When we play the Ravens and Chiefs, their defense makes everything difficult. The problem is likely that we need different players and scheme.
  17. Gents… this one just feels numb in every way possible.
  18. Aside from the Ravens game week 4, this has been the worst game we’ve played all year. Terrible place to come up with a bad performance. Hopefully we can get it in gear soon.
  19. I thought that was Nigel Bradham. But perhaps YE OLE’s memory is a little fuzzy.
  20. Reid and Spags will definitely be a challenge, but Brady isn’t a first year OC. He had almost 2 full years as OC in Carolina and a year and a half here with 4 playoff games under his belt. On the defensive side of the ball, we all feel that will land more on McDermott anyway. It’s going to be a challenge, but our team and coaches have been in a lot of big games over the last several years. I don’t think anything will catch them off guard.
  21. Neither team played anything close to their A games tonight. We definitely had some divine intervention on our side tonight, gents! After all the games we have had end in heartbreak, this one went our way. Hopefully that was our offenses bad game and we can get 2 gems from Josh and the boys to finish the run!
  22. Agree Beast… an 8 minute ball buster type drive where we run over them all the way to the end zone would really set the tone to close this out.
  23. It’s time, gents! Nerves have been bad with this one, but 17 is going to get it done!
  24. Sadly, Christian Wilkins ain’t walking through that door. Now there’s a guy who can get a sack and grab a handful of sack at the same time.
  25. Our good friend @Blank Stare summed it up best in the GDT:
