    This is only if the season is cut short by another Covid breakout. Didn't the NHL expand the playoff field to 24 in the middle of their season? (I don't follow the NBA. What did they do?)

    As much as we focus on how the Pats ran all over us...we actually ran all over the Patriots defense as well. Just as dominantly. So spare me the narrative that the Pats blew the game on one late turnover.

    It's hard for me to care how injured any team is. We had our hands full with the Jets and depleted Patriots.

    I started a thread to discuss these 2020 pandemic rules and how many will stick with the NFL. Frankly I love it.

    Frankly I think the way they are handing rosters in 2020 is vastly better. Expanded practice squad, easier callups, no limit of playing years to sign PS players, more liberal IR rules. I'm sure it adds to owners salary costs somewhat but I like the flexibility it gives teams. What are the chances some or all of these "pandemic" rules stick around?

    Gotta accept we aren't as good as first thought. Mostly on defense. But we are also in great shape to win the division. So just keep grinding out wins.

    I live in NH too. My boss is a Pats STHer. Said he wasn't missing going to games at all if they are going to be that bad. I also show him my Bills ST invoice. Comparable seats I pay about 20% what he pays.

    But it's also true that Shaunnessy is Boston's Jerry Sullivan: a guy who just overreacts to everything to get a rise out of people. He's just happy he can finally land a few blows on a guy (Belichick) who's been untouchable until now.

    I think 4-4 will be a good outcome. We need to sweep the AFCE and beat Denver and the Chargers, which won't be easy.
