  1. Yes and no. Let's assume the new stadium has 55,000 season tickets set aside, but only 53,000 sell. If someone buys a seat years later that wasn't part of an initial PSL, then yes, the Bills would charge one. Now say you decide to give up your season tickets a few years from now. In order to buy your seats, a new buyer would have to pay you for your PSL. So yes, they will pay for a PSL but YOU get the money, not the Bills. If I understand the terms correctly.
  2. Has it been brought up yet that Pegula is on the hook for overruns? On the other hand, PSL's are like a user fee. Those attending games share in the cost of construction.
  3. How on earth do you end up like that?
  4. Not sure what to say. We all live with disappointment. You have to watch how this team develops. The NHL is way different than the NFL. Rookies don't just play. (Devon Levi appears to be an exception.) It takes players 3-4 years to fully develop. Don't forget this is only year 2 of the Adams/Granato regime. And this team is already at the doorstep of the playoffs. We have more points now (83 with 5 games to go) than we've had since our last playoff season. We are #6 in the league in goals scored. We might have found our new Ryan Miller. There's plenty to be excited over.
  5. I'm down in FLL today and plan to be at the game. I expect half the arena cheering for the Sabres.
  6. Well, Nate Peterman is still in the NFL.
  7. First UB Bull to play in the NBA since Sam Pellom in the early 80's. Only the second Bull in the NBA ever. He's from Rochester.
  8. Hidden Valley Ranch has a picture of a plate of Buffalo Wings on their label. The nerve.
  9. @The Poojer Full performance video in that article...if you dare. 🧿
  10. Does Florio sniff glue? I'm asking seriously.
  11. After years of trying to move to the first row in the Rockpile sections, I got my wish! Sec 203, Row 1!!! I need the legroom.
  12. After a week of rejections, UB hires a coach with a solid pedigree. Let's hope he's as good as his resume.
  13. WXPN free show. I'll have to tune in online.
  14. I just saw the Residents at the Sinclair in Cambridge MA last night. They were terrific. "Randy" was on fire.
  15. Turner Battle is the Athletic Director at the Park School in Buffalo. I think that's the track he wants to pursue. That said, he might be better than Mark Alnutt already. Allegedly two things are hurting UB's search for a coach: 1) salary offered and 2) potential NIL money for recruits. SUNY does not care a lick about athletics and would probably be just as happy to send UB back down to D3.
  16. Not UB football, but the search for a new men's basketball head coach has been an unmitigated disaster. UB has been publicly turned down by three candidates, including one (Adam Cohen) who's from Williamsville and was a team manager at UB while a student there!! So many depressing rumors as to why.
  17. Have hope Year 2 of Coach Mo' will be something good. He's had a solid recruiting class. Now he (or his assistants) have to coach them up. No more blown 4th quarter leads, please.
  18. His final season he was making $400K apparently. If you really want to follow what's going on, click this link: https://ubfan.com/bb/index.php?/topic/9092-coaching-search-2023-edition/ There are some very exciting candidates being talked about. But I would suggest making yourself familiar with this guy...
  19. Yup, paid $385K. About what Whitesell was making. Oats made $612K his final season at UB. There goes your take right out the window. And you may not care about your player being involved in a murder but universities hiring coaches do.
