  1. I feel really sorry for anyone that needs to play the racism card for anything they either dislike or don’t understand. There is nothing inclusive about cancel culture mentality to exclude all things they deem offensive. It’s time to grow the hell up and stop feeding into the narrative of racism. Funny how a quick scan of the crowds at FSU games and KC games would show that black people, white people and native Americans all participate in the chop. Football (sports) are a way to bring people together — but that doesn’t work for those content to divide rather than unite. BTW — the Bills shout song is offensive to many too but it doesn’t make it racist. I’m glad we beat the chiefs at their house — and embarrassed them in front of a national audience. But the chop is a great tradition in a world that is hell bent on getting ridding itself of history and tradition.
  2. You seem just as opinionated and defiant as you are trying to portray Beasley being. Maybe you should stay off social media.
  3. So - regardless if the Bills are threatening to cut him (though Brandon Beane was quoted about that general premise a few weeks ago), many of the posters on this board are calling for him to be cut. That is what I am referring to as stupid. In terms of the league - vaccination is not a requirement for employment - it merely waives the ginned up procedures for unvaxxed. If he doesn’t get the shot- he is still allowed to play with heightened protocols and other procedures like 2020. That he should be further penalized or ostracized is foolish. Also - if you read through this thread - there are posts that suggest he wasn’t any good anyways…it was all a product of Josh Allen… yada yada - that is foolish and stupid. As to Beasley’s stance, maybe Cole was trying to bring attention for a perceived lack of support from his union. Maybe he is frustrated by the process and feels there can/should be a less restrictive compromise for non vaxxed.
  4. It never ceases to amaze me about the level of stupidity that exists. The notion of cutting a very good player and making the team worse because he doesn’t conform to a mob mentality is beyond stupid. Cole Beasley is an important piece of the Bills team. Beyond that - cutting him with weeks to go before training camp is even more mind numbing - as there is no replacement option on the free agent market to fill the void he would leave.
  5. Loved the banter between McDermott and Schoen/Beane about the snacks.
  6. This is why we can't have nice things. Bills are worse because of a punter and aged returner. That is hysterical. I suppose OP could be right -- but I'll take the team that returns nearly every starter and backup from the AFC Championship game.
  7. Did anyone notice the person throwing to the receivers at clemson’s pro day....it was J.P. Losman. That is all. Go Bills.
  8. Quinn Meinerz from the D3 school looks like a perfect fit for the Bills. Position flex and a chip on his shoulder. Big size too. He’s on my wishlist.
  9. So the Bills signed Kaare Vedvik for nothing to a futures contract. Said Vedvik was traded to the Vikes for a 5th rd pick and the ravens just sent that to Jags. I say the bills won this trade. More witchcraft from Beane. Go Bills!
  10. I think he is better than anyone we have. Bills have a glaring need at punter, this move makes a lot of sense to me.
  11. I appreciate your observation but respectfully disagree with several takes: did you watch Josh Allen consistently climb the pocket and fire balls to his receivers — I did...consistently. The only time he struggled was with the short throws. Also — completely disagree with regards to the OLINE. It is 1000x improved from last year. Ford is a bit inconsistent but shows you all the traits of a really solid RT. IMHO. Go Bills!
  12. My observations from this morning’s practice.... 1. John Brown was the most impressive player on offense — he has all kinds of quickness and made an absolutely ridiculous adjustment on a deep throw. 2. Cole Beasley absolutely humiliated Kevin Johnson on a zig route — faked him out of his shoes for a quick completion. 3. Roberts Foster — if he is not a starter — we are going to be playing with a lot of three and four wide receiver sets — he was impressive all day. 4. Josh Allen has amazing touch and accuracy on deep throws. His short stuff is another story — not sure how to correct that — but he struggled with those again today. 5. Devin Singletary is going to be a STUD. He is so small and gets lost in the scrum — but then emerges and is off to the races. I think we see a healthy dose of him this season — even with Shady. 6. Contrary to reports I have seen today — Levi Wallace impressed me a lot. I think he is not giving his starting CB job up without a real fight. He looked good in the 1/1 contested drill against John Brown. 7. Love the presence of Line Coach Bobby Johnson — I think he is a real upgrade. 8. Tyree Jackson has a ways to go to be a pro QB — I think practice squad is his future. He struggled holding the ball too long and not seeing the play. 9. Our starting OLine (Dawkins, Spain, Morse, Feliciano, Ford....as well as Long and Nyseke) looks legit — they are also some big dudes. NIGHT and DAY difference from last year in camp — when I also noticed they looked putrid. 10. Tre White wins the award for having the best time out on the field — he is constantly dancing, yapping out there — he is so much fun to watch. I think he is a lot of fun. Also closest personality we have to the likes of Antonio Brown, OBJ etc.... Go Bills!
  13. Zay Jones led the Bills receivers in snaps last year with almost 89%. Next closest was Benjamin at 48% and Foster at 42%. I think Zay is a more solid WR than people give him credit for -- I like Foster alot, but think Zay is the more likely starter opposite Brown.
  14. RIP Pancho Billa. I met him in New Orleans...he was a very kind soul. Here's hoping he sends down a little Pancho Power this season!
  15. Re-read your post. The answer is right there. All of those guys are extremely young - he is a seasoned vet that can show them the ropes as a mentor and be another great locker room presence. I would love this signing.
  16. OL play is significantly impacted by the cohesiveness of the players next to you -- I feel like Anthony Munoz would have struggled at LT last year with our previous supporting cast -- as they were shuffling anyone with a pulse in at LG to see if they could work better.
  17. He hasn’t lost his job yet — if Ty beats him out I believe that means we have an above-average guard to plug in.
  18. People need to relax on the Dawkins is crap line of thinking. Guy had a really good rookie year — the line and offense was a dumpster fire last year. He will be fine. Whether Tackle or Guard— he is going to be a long-term fixture on this team.
  19. I know he comes to the board from time to time and I respect that - but IF he has any “source” on this it is simply a plant to get other teams thinking - the days of the Bills leaking anything are over. I wouldn’t put any stock in this.
  20. Thought he was a very solid player when healthy. Really like the depth this team is accumulating. Good work Bean.
  21. Quick - someone give Foster the nickname “Bandit”
  22. PFF is the biggest sham - total click bait. Even more ridiculous is the fact NBC pastes it on their player intros as if it it some legit statistic. These “grades” have no basis — as it has been pointed out on more than one occasion — they have no idea what play was called and what assignment the player actually had on the play. It’s a total farce. I can’t wait till PFF starts doing mock drafts. I think the Bills got much better on OL.
