  1. And Stabler has one the all-time great lines with Upshaw, Shell, Jim Otto
  2. The Snake is my all-time favorite player in the NFL and the only non-Bills jersey I have bought. I grew up watching him play but in all honesty I don't see the comparison. Allen definitely has a better arm. Stabler was more of a precision passer. Stabler could move around in the pocket to avoid the rush but his knees were in bad shape by the time he made it to the NFL. Personality Allen strikes me a the all-American boy next door while Stabler was the original Joe Cool. I'd love it if were true but I don't see it.
  3. Thinking seriously about it depending on the airfare
  4. I agree the flipside though is with the concentration of power the weaknesses as well as the strengths of the few hands are magnified.
  5. Didn't do so well with Rob Johnson at the helm before or after he played
  6. Sadly I am an expert! lol
  7. Sir, a Big Mac is from McDonalds and Biggie Fries are from Wendy's; are you proposing that you would somehow merge these two fast food giants simply because you were able to accomplish a 3-5 year business plan in a meer 4 months?! Balderdash!
  8. Shula/Marino and Dungy/Manning ahead of Johnson/Aikman? You could easily make the case that Johnson/Aikman belong ahead of Holmgren/Farve and Levy/Kelly.
  9. This measurement is more about which team generates the most interest than who has the "best fan base". This is click bait wrapped the the veneer of academia.
  10. It feels like McDermott is setting up a running back by committee approach this year, but I also get the sense that he will go with the hot hand. If McCoy comes out smoking hot he will get a lot of carries. Same applies to Yeldon and Gore.
  11. I care deeply about fidget spinners and am deeply offended.
  12. Agreed, its not the blitz packages that cause problems for Brady its when the front four can get pressure without blitzing that causes Brady to look more like Kyle Orton.
  13. Wow what a beautiful beach...
  14. Yes I think there would be a number of fans who would cheer. On a side note I am not sure that all the fans who cheered in Toronto were cheering that KD was injured; the cheering got loudest when he got up to hobble off the court. I think some of the fans were giving the traditional cheer to an injured player when they get up not cheering his injury. Again I'm sure some were cheering the injury but not all or most.
  15. Given the stupid and arrogant things he says I think he may have done that already
  16. What will be interesting to watch is that last year the Patriots played quite a few games (including both games against the Bills) where they clearly were committed to running the football. Even playing old-fashioned power football and doing it successfully. As Brady continues to age, and his replacement isn't obvious, I wonder if Belichick is going to be ahead of the curve again and take advantage of these smaller, faster more athletic linebackers by using power football to wear them down. I stall have nightmares watching the gigantic offensive lines of the Giants, Redskins and Cowboys abuse Jeff Wright and the lighter, faster athletic defenses of the Bills. Of course I could just be suffering from battered fan syndrome.
  17. The author had a clear bias toward the black uniforms, seemed very subjective. I think any one of us could have written the same article. I don't know he put the Bengals and Bronco uniforms ahead of the Bills.
  18. I don't know what has been going on in his life since the Denver incident but I am inclined to agree. I don't think it is a coincident that Frank Reich is the one giving him another shot. However, I do hope he makes the best of it. No pressure playing being Luck right now.
  19. Last year (with the exception of the Rams play) was much better. I like the original intent that only obvious errors be overturned, if you have to look at the replay for 20 minutes..."The call of the field stands"
  20. That probably makes Glenn a pretty expensive guard
  21. Its what you'd expect from any QB right? Unless you are at the very end of your career you want to play and not train your replacement
  22. I don't think he's awful. He's not polished but I enjoy his point of view
  23. He really should have stayed in college another year.
  24. I have been a big fan of him but he doesn't belong on the Wall.
