  1. There should also be a rule against using "gross" to describe anything unless you are a 13 year old girl Great catch on the typo
  2. Mat Nagy has made a number of QBs seem "abysmal" Keenum hasn't done much since leaving the Vikings to give me a great deal of confidence. You may be right but I think he has more in the tank than he showed last year. He wasn't bad in Dallas.
  3. This post is proof that some people love to overract and read into things that aren't there. Are we not allowed to present any opinions that are in a different direction that the team makes? To be absolutely clear I trust ownership, management and the leadership on the team I am simply saying that I would have prefered Dalton to Keenum, what's so unbelievable?? Discussions on options is what these boards are for, if I suggested we fire Beane or McDermott your reaction would have been appropriate.
  4. What a thoughtful itelligent response. First of all I am not complaining about ownership or management I think they are doing a fantastic job. Secondly its a simple statement that I would have greater confidence in Dalton in a spot start than Keenum or Barkley. Calm down with your overreactions Our last back-up looked pretty bad playing in Chicago under Nagy but everyone seemed pretty happy with the signing. I have never been a Keenum fan.
  5. We should have signed Dalton, he would is a significant upgrade over Barkley or Keenum should the Bills be without Allen for a few games.
  6. He'll probably be a cap causality before that agreement ends
  7. I understand and don't disagree with you on that point I should have made that clear. I was commenting on the description of Stafford's performance in Detroit as great. Players are too often described as "great" in sports discussions and I would describe Stafford's improvement from middling to good which supports your point that he didn't become a superstar. I don't know if the book has been written on Mayfield yet; he played better earlier in his career and the last two years have gone in the other direction but I don't think he's likely going to become a top 5 QB but its not impossible to think he could still be a top 10 guy.
  8. Stafford wasn't great in Detroit, you could certainly argue he was good - to very good but great is a bit of hyperbole. Brady was great on a pretty average Patriots team and I'd say Rodgers was great on a fair to midling Packers team. If you're a Browns fan you'd hope that his struggles have at least humbled him a little bit. Hue Jackson has to smiling a little bit to himself.
  9. Ross is a meddler; I hope he never sells the Dolphins. They should hire Gase again
  10. "The Failing NY Times"....
  11. I agree on both counts but mediocrity isn't the goal and I don't believe that group of three gets them past that
  12. It sounds like a recipe for mediocrity to me. While all of those guys seem like gentlemen and outstanding men I haven't seen anything to make me see Super Bowl in the future with them calling the shots.
  13. I'm no OJ fan but I think your portrayal of him could be be viewed two ways. Yes he could have been viewed as you have as a narcissist but his actions could be taken as fan friendly. I know I would have been excited to meet him in those days and if he posed for photos, told stories about his career and signed autographs I would thrilled! I would have described him as "fan friendly" and a great guy for giving up his time to hang out with Bills fans.
  14. You are incorrect. I understand the name is hyperbole and an attempt at humor, what I don't agree with is why so many fans remain angry at Donahoe.
  15. I get the tongue in cheek I just think its all a bit of an over-reaction. He didn't save the franchise but I can think of a lot people (starting with Ralph) whom I blame more.
  16. Pretty harsh title, I don't harbor any resentment for Donahoe. Seems like a pretty decent man who spent more of Wilson's money than Ralph was comfortable with. The Losman pick didn't work out but its not the first time a QB disappointed.
  17. I hadn't heard about the Von Miller police investigation but it sounds pretty dire https://www.denverpost.com/2021/02/23/von-miller-criminal-investigation-prosecutor/
  18. I get your point but I honestly don't care what the "national media" thinks of this team and if the Bills sneak up on some teams like they did the Cowboys last year I am fine with that.
  19. I can certainly understand if the Patriot fans and supporters think they will always find a way to win the division, get to and win the Super Bowl... I'd probably have the same sense of entitlement and confidence if my team had the same success. As a Mets fan who listens to WFAN in NY during the summer Yankee fans NEVER lose confidence that things can and will be fixed.
  20. Agreed! Good for him, good for us. Early in the game I started complaining to my son when a Seahawk running back beat Klein to the corner for a first down. After he sacked Wilson and caused/recovered the fumble I turned tomy so and said, "see you wanted to bench this guy"
  21. Danold's is having the same early career issue as Ryan Tannehill, its called Adam Gase.
  22. Absolutely, that is just my projection of his potential. I think he is a top 10 QB in the league but not as you said ""MVP who has revolutionized the league" he was way overrated last year. I think we are on the same page.
  23. You just knew this was coming, guys like this write this for the reactions'
  24. Possibly but not certainly, I should have been clearer I meant the teams that are legitimate contenders for the Super Bowl. The Seahawks and Cardinals are playing much better football than those two right now.
