My crappy Isles have a shot. 0-3 and with another loss tonight vs the Oilers to go 0-4. We need the #1 pick for the 2nd year in a row. On the plus side Schaefer looks like the real deal. We have our current and more importantly future #1 defenseman. The kid is only 18 and already playing very well at the NHL level.

I remember the rumors about Cowher coming back to coaching and this was back when he wasn't that far removed from his days coaching the Steelers. Boomer Esiason kept saying there is zero percent chance he comes back. He said he loved his CBS pre/post-game job. Getting paid millions to watch and talk football but doesn't have to put in the long stressful hours anymore coaching.

They can still win a Super Bowl with Allen when he is past his prime. I think Allen will be good enough to win a Super Bowl with for another 8-10 years. But he won't be running like he used to as he ages. The most important thing is he needs a stronger team around him on both sides of the ball.

We can only hope that when we get our injured players back as well as the players coming suspension that they will improve the defense. If they don't then the Bills are screwed, and we can forget about having a shot at a championship season.

It's insane that Cook isn't on the field in the critical moments. If I remember correctly, he wasn't on the field during the last drive in the AFCCG last year vs KC. Fans say he isn't a good blocker but who cares about that. When the game is on the line Cook isn't out there to block. He is the one player on offense who can take it to the house from anywhere on the field. They should want Cook with the ball in open space so he can go make a big play. He is not out there to block especially when its crunch time.
