  1. Playing at the Meadowlands is never easy for the Bills. Lost to Zach Wilson twice there recently. The Jets get fired up to play the Bills. I expect a Bills win but it will probably be another close game in NJ.
  2. I would be surprised if Daboll and Schoen survive another bad year. Have to think they are one of the favorites as the first HC and GM to get fired.
  3. If this is true, then the Giants could be looking at an 0-4 start. Again, IF TRUE. Update: Giants face draining first month Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com and USA TODAY reports that the Giants will face an overwhelming first month of the season with the following games: Week 1 at Washington Commanders Week 2 at Dallas Cowboys Week 3 vs. Kansas City Chiefs (primetime) Week 4 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
  4. There has been some bad blood the last few years between the Bills and Jets. Dawkins hates them and he isn't shy letting everyone know it. Players had to be separated in the tunnel after the game in Buffalo two years. Last year there was a lot of pushing and shoving after the whistle at MetLife. The players on both sides don't like each other that is for sure.
  5. I guess the last home game of the regular season should be against the Jets. The Jets were the first regular season game at this stadium in 1973. Maybe they will help the Bills close out the regular season as well. The Pats could be an option if this Dolphins at Bills week 3 schedule leak is true.
  6. On the flip side this also helps the Fish. Miami doesn't have to play in the cold, and we all know how noodle arm Tua performs in the cold.
  7. If you go off his playing career, then Rose is a slam dunk to get voted in. But will he get enough votes despite being reinstated. Many of those who vote on this may not forgive him despite being reinstated.
  8. Maybe when the Bills win the Super Bowl the draft will become less important. This year I was very interested into seeing how they would go about improving the defense since it is that side of the ball that is mainly responsible for the Bills not getting there in the Allen era so far.
  9. What about the steroids guys like Sosa and McGuire?
  10. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/pete-rose-shoeless-joe-jackson-among-players-reinstated-by-mlb/ar-AA1EI4oo I guess Rose will get into the HOF now.
  11. You are right in that it is definitely overhyped. For me I look to see who the opener is against and if it's the home opener. How many primetime games they get. When the Bills come to the Meadowlands since I live in NJ and it's the only time, I see them in person.
  12. With that defense the Bengals aren't taking anything. Besides the Ravens are still the best team in that division and will most likely win it.
  13. Do you really need Dallas for ratings for the first game of the year. No matter who the Eagles play the ratings were going to be extremely high. After a long offseason everyone wants that first game to get here. I am surprised the league didn't have the Cowboys and Eagles play later in the year when the division races start to heat up. Assuming the Cowboys will be able to keep up with the Eagles.
  14. I will root for them over the Leafs.
  15. When they are playing Sunday afternoon, they will get a lot of 4:25 starts as many of their games will be the national game shown to the entire country.
  16. I know the Leafs and Panthers has been the higher profile series in the eastern conference, but the Hurricanes are starting to look like champions. They have completely shut down the Caps. Anderson is looking like the best goalie still playing in these playoffs. Whoever wins the Leafs-Panthers series will have their hands full with the Canes who look like they will get past the Caps.
  17. I actually hope we get an easy week 1 matchup on Sunday at 1:00. Something like Jets at Bills. It's always nice to start 1-0. The Bills will get their share of primetime games but just like last year a 1:00 start on Sunday would be fine.
  18. Dallas. LOL. I know Aikman is a Cowboys fan obviously, but they are the 3rd best team in their division behind the Eagles and Commanders. Then there are a bunch of other NFC contenders who are also better than them. The Cowboys are a long shot at best to represent the NFC. My pick for the NFC is Detroit.
  19. First game of the season since the Super Bowl was played in Feb. The Eagles could play Orchard Park HS on this night, and it would draw huge ratings.
  20. Good point if Christmas is the final regular season home game. What does the AFC get this year 8 or 9 home games?
  21. Just a guess but I think the Bills open up on the road this year. Last year they opened at home against the Cardinals. Next year is the first year at the new stadium. You know how the NFL likes to make a big deal about everything. I think they put the new stadium in the spotlight week 1 of the 2026 season. If the Bills don't win the Super Bowl and play the 1st Thursday night game, then they will get week 1 at home on SNF or MNF so the 1st game in the new stadium gets national exposure. I don't know if the league will have the Bills open at home 3 straight years which is why I think this year they open on the road.
  22. The Jets and Dolphins played in London in 2015. It was a Miami "home" game.
  23. Depends on the defense. On paper they are better, but will they show it on the field. If they do, then the Bills have an excellent shot to get to the Super Bowl and win it. If not, then it won't happen. Allen plays great but he can't lead the Bills to the Super Bowl by himself as we have seen over the years.
