The Giants aren't going anywhere but they do have a pretty good defense. I wonder if a trade can be worked out between the teams. The have some players on the DL that can get after the QB that could help the Bills.

Beans and Sean - Should we miss the SB againGregg replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall If you move on from Beane then the new incoming GM may want to move on from McDermott and bring in his own coach.

I would still like a #1 WR on the Bills like a Jefferson, Chase, Cee-Dee, G. Wilson type of player. That would open everything up on offense even more. To your point the offense has still been good this year. We have to hope the players coming off suspension as well as getting Oliver back in the lineup can help shore up some of the weaknesses on defense. I am sure Beane is looking at possible trades, but the defense (once again) will need fixing in the off-season. In the 2026 draft I am guessing LB or CB/S as the pick in RD 1.

I give both Beane and McDermott credit for changing the culture of this organization. It wasn't that long ago the Bills were a POS organization. They were basically the Jets with the only difference being they were wearing blue instead of green. I don't see Terry making a change. I mentioned this before but if the Bills missed the playoffs this year, I think he would give them the chance to fix it in 2026. At that point who knows who will be available to become a HC.

Hopefully the Pats suffer a letdown. If that happens then the Saints might pull off the upset.
-
As for Rex Ryan as HC that would be a NO from me but McDermott and Beane are in their 9th year. It is fair to question if they are the right men for the job of bringing a championship to Buffalo.

Beans and Sean - Should we miss the SB againGregg replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall I agree. I don't see them in danger of losing their jobs. Even if the Bills missed the playoffs, I think he would give them the chance to fix it. Both will be here for a while IMHO,

If I were in New England I would walk around wearing my Yankees shirt and Yankees hat and ask them, how are they enjoying the baseball playoffs. The Yanks are still alive with a big win last night.

If you put a guitar in Rob Ryan's hand, he could pass off as a poor man's Jerry Garcia.

Beans and Sean - Should we miss the SB againGregg replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall If the Bills cleaned house there would be a ton of interest in the GM/HC job considering the Bills have one of the best QBs in the game. The Sabres job for GM/HC isn't an attractive one at this point. The Bills GM/HC job is.

Beans and Sean - Should we miss the SB againGregg replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall The Jets went to back-to-back AFCCG's with Rex Ryan. The last playoff win wasn't 1968

Beans and Sean - Should we miss the SB againGregg replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall Terry said that both men report to him and they have equal power. Neither one can fire the other as only Terry has the power to fire them.

Return of the Throwbacks (First time since 2021) and recordsGregg replied to Mr Wild's topic in The Stadium Wall The Falcons uniforms for this one also look good. None of this will matter if the Bills don't leave Atlanta 5-1.

Nice comeback win last night. The Yanks got lucky the Jays LF didn't call off the shortstop on the fly ball which he dropped and then it was all Yanks after that led by Judge with the 3-run HR to tie it. Game 4 today. Hopefully they can send it back to Toronto for game 5.

Beans and Sean - Should we miss the SB againGregg replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall Allen does get help on offense with Cook. I wish we had a true #1 WR but we don't.

Beans and Sean - Should we miss the SB againGregg replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall A lot of people (myself included) would welcome a change, but Terry likes Beane and McDermott as his GM/HC combo. Unless the Bills completely fall apart and miss the playoffs I don't see either one in danger of losing their jobs. Even if they did miss the playoffs Terry would probably give them another year to fix the problem.

They looked good in the Jets game.

I thought he might get fired this week. That loss to Carolina was a bad one.

Rex Ryan named as a possible replacement. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=a6f1a1c3981d313e49b53f65bcf41e3570dca0e58855a5df9c8969f4e27b868bJmltdHM9MTc1OTc5NTIwMA&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=4&fclid=39432f18-80d3-69d2-2993-3dda815f6841&psq=tony+pauline&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cubXNuLmNvbS9lbi11cy9zcG9ydHMvbmZsL21pa2UtbWNkYW5pZWwtb24tdmVyeS10aGluLWljZS13aXRoLWRvbHBoaW5zLW93bmVyLXBlci1yZXBvcnQvYXItQUExTzJvT1c_b2NpZD1CaW5nTmV3c1NlcnA

Maybe that is the case for the Chiefs, but McDermott has never won a road playoff game. I think it matters to the Bills to play all playoff games in OP. I definitely don't want them playing a playoff game in Arrowhead.
